Family DC Trip

We were in town for a family wedding in Bethesda and wanted to have the DC experience. The apartment was beautiful & just as presented and we had plenty of room for the 5 of us. The updates & modern amenities were much appreciated, as well as the location. It was easy access to/from the airport, as well as the museums, restaurants & sights. I would highly recommend this VBRO rental.Minor issues: TV would not connect to the internet, even though accurate log-in codes were provided. (Did not take the time to contact host, since it wasn't an urgent issue.) Computers had access and we were able to stream thru our accounts. There could have been a few more more items provided - only a few rolls of TP provided & no tissue or napkins. Wine opener & glasses and more hangers in closets would have been nice too.These are ONLY minor inconveniences and did not interfere with our stay, since we only spent mornings & downtime/evenings there. Overall, 5 stars!!!

Lovely stay in DC

We loved our stay here. The apartment is so cute and cozy. There was more than enough room for me, my husband and our three teenagers. Nice, quiet, safe neighborhood. We could walk to nearby restaurants for dinner. We really enjoyed having the deck too. Perfect spot for our four days in DC!

Had a fabulous stay

My husband and I stayed in this fabulous row house apartment with our two adult children. Everything was clean and comfortable. The major sights are little too far to walk, so we used Lyft to get around. It worked great and didn’t break the bank. Our flight left later in the day and the owner was nice about extending our check-out time a bit.We would stay here again.

Better than expected

Clean, well maintained, spacious. the showers are excellent. Washer / dryer works well. Close enough to H Street to walk without being noisy or hectic. Great house

Property was perfect and just as described. Amazing and beautiful location and very central to everything we needed. Communication with host and manager was easy and they were very accommodating.

Quaint neighborhood. Minutes from downtown.

The metro is 1.5 miles away. It's walkable for the adventurous type. Otherwise, drive time is about 15 minutes into downtown with Ubers a plenty. This property is adorable and has tons of space.

Quick girls trip

Apt was as advertised, very clean. Comfortable beds and furniture. We had an issue with the thermostat - I think it was an eco setting.. every-time we came home the temp was increased to 80 degrees.. couldn’t seem to change that. But the apt cooled easily after a few hrs once it was adjusted. (Annoying with 100 degree temps outside) Great location, felt safe, many walkers in the neighborhood. Even met some locals from our home state. Easy Uber to and from the center of the capitol. The Main Street a few blocks away was a touch sketchy.. many homeless, and questionable looking loiters. (Glad it was light out.) I walked there with my girls to go to a pizza place.. but I wouldn’t take that walk again- at least not with kids. At the apt, parking was on the street but only for 2hr increments during the day without a permit… we didn’t know that until we arrived. After getting in touch with our house contact we found we could park around the corner, by the “triangle park” which is more like a triangle grassy knoll with a couple trees and a single swing that divides the streets. I wish I would have known that driving in, as I was quite unsure where to park upon arrival. My girls and I had a great time. ☺️

Great kitchen

Place was clean, with updated kitchen and bathrooms. Comfortable beds just like a highly rated hotel and quiet street. Easy to get to our tours and was worth every penny! No complaints!

Great vacation rental for our family

A great vacation rental for our family. Spacious, clean, and close to the Capital/National Mall. Small issue with missing complimentary laundry detergent was quickly rectified by the host. The kitchen was serviceable, we cooked multiple times during our stay. Could use a cutting board and a deeper 'pasta' pot in the kitchen. Overall, would recommend!

Great property!

Everything was clean and tidy, and the beds were really comfortable. We had the main bedroom, and the large closet and bathroom were great. We had family staying in the other bedroom, and they did say that the other bedrooms had no storage other than hang up space in the closet. I relayed this to the very responsive property manage, and they thanked me for the suggestion. I would definitely stay there again!

Perfect spot for family trip to DC

Loved everything about this house. Check in was straightforward and easy. The house is comfortable, well equipped, and so convenient to DC public transportation. The neighborhood is clean, safe, and quiet. (There are the expected city noises - so bring earplugs as needed for a few dog barks or occasional siren.) We had one very minor issue that was handled quickly and easily. Highly recommend this VRBO for a trip to the city!!
