Kihei vacation

Great condo in central Kihei, walking distance to all Kam beaches, Kalama park, Kihei Kalama shopping area, and Foodland. Clean and comfortable with pool/garden views.

Great spot in Kihei with a lovely open Lanai spreading out onto the grass. The unit itself is older but the owners have done a lovely job of furnishing it. Cute little unit. Love all of the beach/pool toys, floats etc. The A/C wasnt the best and it got quite hot at night in our bedroom but, hey, we went to Hawaii for the heat.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This one bedroom unit on the ground floor was everything we needed for a wonderful vacation on Maui! It is located across from the pool, but noise was never an issue whatsoever. The unit was equipped with beach chairs, a beach umbrella, small cooler and even a boogie board! Everything you needed for a day at the beach! The location of Maui Vista Condo's is ideal, literally you just cross the street and your at Charles Young Beach (Kamaole #1) and you can walk to restaurants and bars in both directions!

Dirty, dusty, pillow on chair had stains on it. Burn in carpet even though supposed to be non smoking. No view of water as was advertised. Carpet was not cleaned and was sticky. Very unhappy

Reviewer Comments: We booked through Expedia and they have many different pictures of different units. You don’t know which you will get. We have been given unit 3111. The unit is well equipped with beach equipment, well stocked kitchen, and enough towels. But unit is very old and dirty. Cleaning company did great work, but carpet is nasty, walls are dirty, and cockroaches are everywhere. Stove top is not functioning properly, some of the heating elements are not working, another are curved and it’s hard to cook on. Pillows are not comfortable at all. Since we booked it as a place to sleep and cook breakfast, it was ok, but overpriced. I don’t think we will be back. This unit needs renovation and pest control.

Great location , condo is just ok. Needs updating and was not the cleanest. Found a decent amount of bugs through which was a major disappointment. Contacted owners but took to long to respond. Bed is hard as a rock and pillows are very very thin. Ac barely cools place and bedroom was 80 degrees most nights which made sleeping comfortably very hard.

Cleaning crew could do a better job...ceiling and fan above bed was very dusty; bathroom sink not real clean and sand in the shower; large stain in carpet in the living room. The heating elements on the stove are unlevel making it difficult to cook evenly. Even with these issues we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Back home to visit friends and the place I love

The condo is right next door to the unit I lived in about 12 years ago so very familiar and brought back great memories...the accommodation is top notch and the whole process went smoothly...highly recommend

Great bed , dull knives

Slept great , overall had all the amenities expected for budget travelers looking to save money by eating in and relaxing en suite. There were some issues with the basic function of the unit , like hot water pressure in the kitchen sink, some may overlook in the interest of saving money. The location in Kihei next to plenty of beaches, shopping, and restaurants is great. Its also a few minutes from the highway, but has very little noise pollution as its tucked back way from the main drag thru town. I'd reccomend staying here, but there are some minor issues that need to be addressed.

The bad: everything in this unit needs big time TLC. Very outdated. Bathroom in dire need for a reno( mould in the shower) walls and doors need repainted etc. The AC unit is falling apart and is barely cooling the living room. Also the cleaning was lacking with used tissues behind the bed rest and under the night stands. The good: everything works. Appliances are old but work. The bed was firm and very comfortable and the bed sheets were nice. The location of the unit is nice on the ground floor with the lanai/patio offering a quiet and lush space to have breakfast or coffee in the morning and dinner at night time. Its literally 30 feet from the pool so if you like the pool its perfect. BBQ is very close too. Being the last building in the complex there is always ample parking space close to the entrance. The complex is within 5-10 min walk to Charlie Young beach which is great beach and 15- 20 min to a bunch of restaurants and shopping areas. Conclusion: unit has great potential but needs a lot of TLC.

Felt so welcomed and people where nice other than the front desk lady that rejected us a pool key at first Maybe cause no éramos blancos. But over great. We could walk to the beach and the pool was literally couple steps away from the room.

Had a great time at MV3111. Located close to pool, tennis courts, and BBQ's Owners have taken pride in this unit, and it shows, with recent decorating and upgrades. Great ambience, close to beach,restaurants,and shopping. Will definitely stay again, and recommend to family and friends.
