Great Property

Check in process was easy, the condo itself was very clean. Only issue our family had, we were unable to watch anything on any of the tv's due to not having log in information/ parental controls settings.

Perfect

The perfect stay had a little trouble finding the front desk mostly because we just drove 10 hours, so our brains were a little cloudy, lol. Still, customer services was perfect better than the young lady at the actual resort desk but perfect space for group of 7 and very clean and comfortable place.

Super Experience!!!

We went for a few days before school started back at the beginning of Aug. 2020. I was super impressed with the level of cleaning I saw the staff do every morning prior to opening the pool! Since we are in a pandemic, they sprayed every inch of the pool area down with disinfectant every single morning when cleaning the pool out! Awesome Tiki Bar open all the time at the pool! We loved how close we were to the beach. Short and level walj past the pool and you are there! Amazing views! Short walk/drive to lots of attractions, stores, restuarants! We will be booking again!

Excellent!

I loved this unit! Everything was perfect for our group besides the peking. While I understand the parking situation isn’t affiliated with this company, it should be noted the limited availability of parking spots suitable for bigger trucks. We managed most of the week just fine, but ended up parking way farther than we liked the last two nights of our stay. Otherwise, nice, clean, relaxing stay. Stocked kitchen that we utilized for breakfast all week, great access to the beach, and great location! We loved our Grand Panama stay :)

Room was good, mgt company wasn’t. Asked for early check in, mgt company never responded. Also told me parking was included and had to pay $20. Have a message from company saying parking was included which I sent them. They did nothing.

We see that we were able to grant early access to you prior to 4 PM. We're sorry for any confusion on the parking fee. The HOA charges $20 per vehicle, with a 2-vehicle max. We updated our listing for clarity and we appreciate your feedback.

Not what we expected

This is not the first time we’ve stayed at “The Grand Panama”. Normally the rooms are great and we have no complaint. This time was not so great. They almost did not let us have our room because they said there was no way they would rent to 21 year olds…. The furniture was disgusting. There was black stuff all over the mirrors. Our curtain was broke. The ceiling fan wasn’t working and neither was the garbage disposal.

It was just OK.

There were no frying pans, No baking sheets or pot holders/oven mitts in the kitchen. If you have small children there were no plastic cups or bowls for them to use. The pictures make the unit and balcony look larger than they really are. The Grills are really difficult to lite. No wash clothes in either of the bathrooms. The dryer took 4 cycles to dry a load of towels. They need to be replaced. All the beach front units are right behind the poll. Music played non stop, the same song over and over from 9 am until 10 pm so it was not very quiet on the balcony. Our stay was just OK. I would not rent here again though.

Pleasant, exceptional with great views!

I’ve stayed at the Grand Panama before in a different condo. Compared to others, this one didn’t have as many amenities such as basic seasonings-salt, pepper, there was only one dishwasher pod/detergent, one laundry pod, no dish sponge, and just one trash bag. Overall the place was clean and equipped with basic needs but since I’ve stayed at other condos, I expect a little more. The bed sheets did have something “dirty” on them (in bunk bed) that I had to wash out, so that makes me think they didn’t wash them between guests.. but that’s just my assumption. The place is equipped with many pillows and sheets. The AC was able to be controlled to your temperature of choice. There were plenty of towels, no beach towels though. During our 8 day stay, we enjoyed the beach, swam with dolphins, went for a ride in a speed boat, did parasailing and banana boat ride. Pier park has lots of entertainment for kids and adults which is where we went in the evening if we weren’t in the pool. If traveling with kids, I recommend The Holiday Inn Resort although we stayed here with my 9 year old. Just a few minutes down the street from Grand Panama-their pool stays open until midnight, they have activities and entertainment every day so parents can kick back and relax while the kids are entertained. It’s not guaranteed but we were able to access our room at 3pm vs 4pm, I just called and asked. The resort is really clean as people are cleaning each morning! It was a great experience yet again!

Condo maintenance

Had a great week stay. We love Grand Panama. While it was good, there were several things lacking from our other stay in a different unit at Grand Panama. Upon entering the unit, it was fairly quick cleaned but definitely not deep cleaned. There was not a broom to be found, so by day 2 we went and bought our own (and left it for the next guests!). Master shower light was out, balcony lights were out, and a bulb was out in the second bathroom. Both the living room and master bedroom sliding glass doors curtains had several hooks missing/broke and the curtains were hanging down in places. This was not a operational issue, but just didn’t look good. TV controls between the three TV’s were mixed matched and it took us a while to figure them all out. Both bedroom TVs were hooked to cable and worked good, but the living room tv had only a fire stick. It would continually show an error saying internal storage was full and it took a process to get it going again. 5 minutes later you had to repeat. The iron and ironing board were in two different closets and didn’t find the iron until we packed up to leave. Had a few stains on the living room rug and furnature, bad not bad. The unit we stayed in previously was immaculate, this place needs a little refreshing. Overall, not a bad experience tho.

Would’ve gave it 5 stars but the parking garages were very tight hard to maneuver a 3/4 ton truck in them other than that it was a good experience.

Nice place, HORRIBLE management company

The condo was nice & the property amenities were great too. But we had no luck with the management company. This place sleeps 8, with two of those people sleeping on the fold out sofa. When we arrived there weren’t any sheets or blankets for the sofa bed. I contacted the management company and they never responded. Multiple calls and texts went unanswered which is totally unacceptable. There are 3 TVs in the unit, two won’t work at all, and the one in the livingroom is passcode protected so you’re limited to a few shows it allows you to watch without the passcode. Can’t access Netflix or any other app. Management company wouldn’t respond about that either. The balcony door from the bedroom doesn’t lock which was a concern for us with young children. There appeared to be drops of blood running down the side of the nightstand in the front bedroom, something housekeeping obviously missed. Probably wouldn’t stay here again due to non-responsive management company.

Loved loved loved !

Absolutely loved had a fantastic stay! The rooms were so clean, the condo, everything ! I definitely wouldn’t mind going back!

Parking

Our stay was nice. Parking on the other hand was a joke. I had to park in a field not affiliated with Grand Panama several times. Everything overall was good except the clothes dryer.
