The Space:

Striking 2,325 sq ft home with such a magnificent backyard that it almost seems unreal to walk off the deck and find a lake at the end of it! This home features 100 ft of lakefront, including a private 50 ft dock, allowing you to fish the lake or dock your boat right on Upper Scott Lake! You can relax by the fire pit and star-gaze at night, or relax on the furniture by the lake and watch the swans swim by during the day.



Our rec room includes a 65" TV perfect for game-day excitement or a movie night. Whether you’re planning for a weekend of fishing, boating, swimming, or a relaxing escape complete with BBQ and fireside chats, or competitive games in the rec room or the front yard, this is the spot for you. Featuring 6 bedrooms and 3 baths, we offer space, comfort, and convenience for up to 16 guests (14 adults) during your stay!

Guest Access:

You have access to the entire property, including the private dock, swimming area, and our complimentary on-site canoe. Note that our docks, watercraft, & outdoor dining furniture are not available from late Oct to mid-Apr.

Guests have convenient self-check-in access to our home via a keypad entry system after the designated check-in time on their scheduled arrival date using door codes provided one day before arrival.



Our home will accommodate no more than 16 guests, which includes a maximum of 14 adults. Our 5th and 6th bedrooms are designed with families in mind, and both include one set of twin bunk beds designed specifically for children.



The Neighborhood:

Join us as we celebrate all four seasons in Southwest Michigan! In spring, enjoy the vibrant blooms and greenery. Summer brings fun on the water—boating, swimming, and soaking up the sun. Fall allows for scenic walks through the nearby Allegan State Game Area and gives everyone a chance to pick that perfect apple from one of our amazing local orchards. And winter offers skiing at one of the local resorts or cross-country trails, snowmobiling, lake or pond ice skating, plus plenty more snow-filled fun.

We’re just 10-15 minutes from Crane’s Orchards and Dutch Farms - amazing pies and fruit picking. Enjoy a tasting and tour of local favorite Fenn Valley Winery, one of the many vineyards our area is known. For antique lovers, the area has a treasure trove of stores in South Haven, Allegan, Douglas, and Saugatuck. Summer brings adventure in the sun featuring Saugatuck dune rides, sparkling South Haven beaches, biking trails, and fresh fruit aplenty: cherries, blueberries, raspberries, and peaches will be ripe for picking here in the farming heart of Southwest Michigan.



Getting Around:

We are conveniently located close to some of SW Michigan’s cutest coastal towns—15 minutes from downtown S. Haven, 20 minutes from Saugatuck, and 30 minutes from Holland.



Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport (AZO) is located just under 45 miles SE of this home.

Gerald R. Ford Int'l. Airport (GRR) in Grand Rapids, is located about 57 miles NE of this home.

Amtrak's Pere Marquette line runs daily between Chicago, IL and Grand Rapids, MI through both Bangor, MI (15 miles south) and Holland, MI (25 miles north).



Please note: We don’t offer electric vehicle (EV) charging on-site. Attempting to charge an EV here damages our electrical system, any violations will incur a $400.00 fee plus any repair costs. Thank you for helping us keep things running smoothly!



Other Things to Note:

High-speed Wi-Fi is provided by 123Net, offering reliable connectivity throughout the home for streaming, video calls, remote work, and multiple devices. Feel free to log in to your favorite streaming services during your stay.

Please refrain from sticking anything to our walls or using tinsel, glitter, confetti, feathers, etc., during your stay.



Since this home does not have central heating or cooling, we close it down for the winter every year from just after the New Year's holiday until April 1.
