Escápese a nuestro gran y hermoso Ski & Hike Mountain Haven ubicado en el área de Wildernest de Silverthorne, CO. Nuestra casa se encuentra a pocos kilómetros de muchas estaciones de esquí increíbles, entre ellas: Keystone, Copper Mountain, Loveland, Arapahoe Ski Basin, Cooper Mtn. Y Breckenridge. También estamos cerca de muchas rutas de senderismo fantásticas. Nuestra casa también está justo al otro lado de la calle desde el comienzo del sendero Mesa Cortina, y aproximadamente a una milla del sendero Lily Pad Lake. Puede disfrutar de los increíbles árboles de Aspen amarillos y temblorosos en el otoño, y disfrutar de muchas actividades en el lago cercano en primavera, verano y otoño. Traiga a toda la familia o tenga una segunda luna de miel. Nuestro Mountain Haven duerme cómodamente hasta 18 personas e incluso tiene 2 cocinas completas. Location was beautiful and the house was the perfect size for our large family gathering. Signs(rules) on the front and garage doors, as well as taped to the wall were off putting and not welcoming, especially since we had already been given the rules, as well as having them provided in a book on the table. Overall was a pleasant stay.

Very accommodating for large families with children. Distribution of bedrooms well-placed to give individual privacy and space while the great room upstairs had more than enough room to accommodate everyone for meals, games and Santa Claus. Best equipped kitchen we’ve ever encountered. Two separate washer/dryer units was a bonus. The views were spectacular, especially the sunrise. Conveniently close to town, outlets, roads to ski areas and groceries. But when you are at the house you are surrounded by nature, Aspen groves, hiking trails and breathtaking views. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very responsive. Highly recommend.

Great vacation spot-

The place was immaculate! We hosted our family reunion here and it was great! 7 adults, 9 kids and we had enough room!Hot tub was great to relax in, the views from the great room were spectacular!Owner was very responsive. Would stay here again!

Great Stay in the Mountains!

We spent Thursday through Monday here and had a great stay! We couldnt get the heat to stop so we turned it off but besides that it was a perfect stay! Great views and close to the town to go to lunch/dinner.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Our family loved the house and the view of Dillon Lake was great! There were 16 of us staying in the house, and we had plenty of sleeping space. The host were very prompt in replying to my messages. We had a great time and would highly recommend this property!

Great location! Close proximity to many family activities. Love the spaciousness with lots of beds and gorgeous view from the deck. Sort of missed a tv on the main floor but it was fine to not have it too. Checkin and checkout simple and all the kitchen wares you could ever want! Wonderful to have 2 washer/dryer sets!

Amazing mountain experience

Bill was great to communicate with. We stayed for five nights and had such a nice time. Easy to get into town. A great trail right across the street. Animals eating in the backyard in the morning and evening. Hot tub was awesome. Everything was clean. We will definitely be staying again if we are in the area!

Great for a friends' gathering

Great communication, clean, plenty of space, stunning views, very well stocked kitchen. If I tried really hard I could list a few nit-picks, but it was a very comfortable property and we had a great time. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Family Reunion

This was a great place for our family of 12. Location close to Lake Dillon, hikes within walking distance, Breckenridge/Frisco, and 1.5 hours from Denver. Grocery and restaurants close by too. Loved the room sizes and hot tub. We had a blast!!

Great Location, Many Bedrooms!

We had a lovely stay at this home, on the hill just above Silverthorne. Our ski group of 10 adults enjoyed the home, hot tub, and quantity of bedrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, and utensils. The bedrooms are plentiful and many have a bathroom attached or nearby. Our communications with the owners received prompt and helpful responses throughout our stay. We'd stay in this home again!

Beautiful home with a gorgeous view

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in Silverthorne, CO! The location was great and centrally located. The house is incredibly spacious, and the view is breathtaking. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with the owner was excellent, as they responded promptly to our inquiries. We especially appreciated having two washers and dryers, as well as two refrigerators. Our favorite aspect of this home was the absence of a TV on the main floor, which allowed us to have a TV-free vacation and spend more quality time together. Thank you Bill and Susan for sharing your home with us! God bless:)

The house is amazing. There is so much room and it’s a great layout. We had a big group and everyone had excellent accommodations. We boarded at keystone. Be aware parking is tough on peak days.

Our names are Bill and Susan Slappey, and we have 5 grown children. Our main priority in life is making Christ known to all that we can. We have been foster parents to over 22 children and we currently have 8 grandchildren. We grew up and live in Birmingham, Alabama (Sweet Home, Alabama, Roll Tide Roll).
We love our family and love spending time together at home and traveling. Perhaps our best trips have been to Grand Cayman and Israel. We love the movies Courageous and War Room by the Kendrix brothers. Stephen Curtis Chapman, Kari Jobe, and Ellie Holcombe are our favorite singers and song writers. We love adventure and the awesomeness of God's great creation. We also love to travel and to hike.
Our life motto and verses are Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.

I surely hope we don't offend, but we do love Christ with all our hearts, and love to talk about Him to all who want to hear. I hope this home brings great fun, fellowship, and family time to all that come.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We love this place for it's great views of Lake Dillon, of the snow-covered mountains, the quaking, yellow Aspen trees, great family hiking trails, and fantastic sledding and ski slopes. Our home is big enough for my kids and grandkids to gather and be together to just hang out, or to go out on incredible adventures just moments away from our door steps. There is something great to do here ANY time of year.
