The location can't be beat and the attached courtyard was a wonderful place to sit and relax with friends. We were a party of 12 coming to Beaune for a wine tasting experience. Members of the group stayed at various accommodations, but this place was by far the BEST!

Great Location

The home was very nice and a great location. It was far enough away so we were not in the middle of the busy area, but still close enough to be in town with just a short walk.

Wonderful place close to town

This was a lovely place to stay in Beaune. It was an easy and pleasant 5-10 min walk to central Beaune. The apartment is comfortable and well appointed with a lovely backyard to enjoy. Charlotte was a very responsive host. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Burgundy!

Beautiful home and great location

Very comfortable with all the amenities to make you feel at home. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Charlotte was wonderful to work with and always responded quickly.

Perfect apartment near town center.

Second stay in this perfect little house near center of town. Never got to use the lovely backyard in the winter but hope we will at some point. Nicely decorated with plenty of closet to unpack. Well appointed kitchen. Comfortable beds. Wholeheartedly recommend!!!

Great House

What a great house to stay while in Beaune. It is a qucik 2 block walk from La Maison de Colombier. Extremely friendly and helpful owner. Easy check in process, and very responsive to requests. Would stay again.

Fantastic hme in Beaune

It is a fantastic home, the location is beautiful in terms of beauty of the surroundings and conveniently located, very close to the City Centre. The condition of the house is impecable in all aspects. I would only add fabric fabric napkins.

Perfectly Located

We had a lovely time during our stay in Beaune. The apartment was in a perfect location, close to the town and also close enough to walk or bike to the vineyards. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed, and we enjoyed the private courtyard. Thank you Charlotte and Dominique for helping us get to and from the train station.

Little gem of a house

The house is extremely well maintained with its old charm preserved and the added convenience of modern amenities. It's a place that feels like home. The pictures do not do it justice. The location is easy to park and within a less than 10-minute walk to everywhere. The hostess gave us some helpful recommendations.

Great location!

We loved the convenient, walkable location and the home itself was wonderful. The beds were comfortable, the small kitchen had everything we needed, and the huge outdoor space was amazing. Dominique met us and was very kind and patient with my limited French. We would definitely stay here again. The only caution would be if you are very tall (like my husband, 6’8” or just over 2 meters), the entryway ceiling is low, but it was fine upstairs in the bedroom area. Many thanks to Charlotte and Dominique!

Lovely position and great hosts

Spotlessly clean, well equipped, with exellent facilities and very convenient for walking to Centre Ville. Wonderful welcome and very friendly hosts. Terrific restaurants with excellent food and warm hospitality. Lotsof lovely artisan bakers, patisseries and local shops in walking distance. Lots to do on foot and cycle hire easily available. Burgundy wine tour was terrific. Office de tourisme only 10 minute walk from house. Lovely setting and very quiet. Free parking available close by. Beaune is stunning - a walled city, small enough to be intimate but so much to see and do.

Perfect place for 4 adults

We used Le Clos as our home away from home for our three week stay in Beaune. Great location - walking distance to the town, on the Voie de Vignes (ideal for bike riding) and near other towns in the region. Car is a must - and free parking nearby was very convenient. Charlotte and her mom were great hosts. Charlotte stayed in touch during our stay and helped address issues when a lightning storm took out the Internet. Kitchen was well stocked and the outside sitting area was nice on the cool evenings. Only thing that would have been better would be to have a microwave - but we are sort of popcorn addicts :) Highly recommend.

C’est Beaune

Charlotte and her Dad were wonderful hosts. Her Dad met us at the train station in a downpour and walked us through the apartment. The outdoor space was amazing. It was a wonderful location. Be sure to try Table du Square, it is close by and doesn’t look like much from the street but was a great meal and space. We used the dishwasher and washing machine( no dryer) and both worked well. It is an induction stove top with which we were unfamiliar and could only get one pan to work, but it was enough. There is a Lidl’s close by for basic provisions. The Sat market is wonderful. Have a great stay in Beaune!

Lovely setting for a stay in Beaune

The main strengths of this rental are its convenient location and outdoor space. We took ample advantage of both. The house is in a quiet area, just a short walk into town. We enjoyed the garden for meals and relaxing.We thank Charlotte and her parents for giving us lifts to and from the train station at the start and end of our stay. I've given a slightly lower score for ease of communication because we had problems calling French telephone numbers from our mobile (not a problem on other trips). It would have been useful to be able to email Charlotte directly, but evidently VRBO doesn't allow that. So we had to send messages via the VRBO website, a little clunky but workable.The one improvement I would suggest for the house would be a curtain or shade that could be pulled over the large window in the living room. In late afternoon the sun made the room unpleasantly hot. During very hot days we sometimes wanted to cool off inside, but that wasn't possible. The only air conditioning was in the bedrooms.Related to that, I tried the air conditioning only on our last night, in the front bedroom. It didn't cool the room but only made it stuffy. I didn't try the A/C in the other bedroom.Instead we relied on the traditional method of closing the wooden shutters during the day and opening them at night. That helped a lot, which is why something to deflect the sunlight in the living room would be beneficial.

Zeer vriendelijk onthaal en behulpzame eigenaar. Logies is van alle comfort voorzien en heel proper. Ligging ook zeer interessant. Op slechts 10 min wandelen van het centrum. Parking vlakbij is zeker een pluspunt.

Amazing stay in clean and convenient location with lovely outdoor space.

This property was even better than expected! It was extremely clean upon arrival. The bedrooms were spacious and the outdoor area had so many wonderful seating options to choose from. It was in a very convenient location to walking to the shops, restaurants, bike rental, etc in Beaune. Our host was so kind to pick us up from the train station upon our arrival. It was very much appreciated after an overnight flight from the US to Paris and a day in Paris walking 10 miles. Charlotte made our night by picking us up!

Perfect house a stone's throw away from center of town and literally on the "voie verte", the "green path" for pedestrian and bikers. Awesome backyard and lovely interior! Loved our stay there and will probably book it again next time we are in Beaune!! Merci pour un super sejour!!

A Gem

Yes place is a gym place to stay. It what is meticulous, very comfortable, and so close to the town center. We love sitting out in the spacious garden. It was even a bigger place than we expected. The owner was responsive and a great help. Felt so lucky to find this place.
