Toda la casa a 4 minutos de la Universidad de Ohio en automóvil, ¡muy agradable!

Ahora tenemos WiFi. Por favor, no hay fiestas. Un automóvil con tracción en las cuatro ruedas es mejor porque nuestra casa se encuentra en una unidad de grava privada de 1/4 de milla. No aramos nieve debido a la gravilla, por lo que si se acerca una tormenta, hay espacio para estacionar en las unidades de almacenamiento al comienzo del viaje. Estamos a segundos de Atenas, una gran granja histórica de 100 años en Atenas. Hemos remodelado por completo esta casa con novedades sobre todo. Todavía tenemos los pisos de madera de roble originales y molduras de roble. Los baños y la cocina están completamente modernizados. No tenemos bañera pero tenemos una ducha incorporada con los 1. 5 baños, medio baño en la planta baja y un baño completo en la planta superior. Hemos agregado una nueva lavadora y secadora. Todos los muebles y colchones son nuevos. ¡Esta casa quiere que te quedes allí!

The property was just as described. The directions for the drive were very clear and helpful. The property is very set back off the main road. It was cozy and comfortable and had what we needed for a weekend day. Communication with the owner was great check in and check out was super easy.

Hosts were communicative and the place was very cozy. Close to a bus stop and for Ubers to pick us up to go to uptown. Plenty of room for everyone. Would love to stay here again when visiting OU.

Beautiful restored house with great woodwork and hardwoods. Comfortable and was perfect for helping son return to OU. Mitch and Ann take meticulous care of their houses. Happily stay there again.

Great house and location

The house and yard were very nice and it had everything we needed. Very close and convenient to campus. I recommend a sound machine for sleeping because of the road noise. We would stay here again!

Girls Weekend

Girls weekend to Athens for OU siblings weekend. Had everything we needed and more… lots of space in dining room and living room to spread out and relax. Loved having the games and DVDs too. Thanks for a great stay!

OU Moms Weekend

Enjoyed our stay at this lovely home over mom’s weekend. It was nice to be able to cook breakfast for my son and have some space to spread out and escape the rain. House is as promised, clean with plenty of amenities. Easy check in, has all the details you need.

Hideaway

Nice older property with classic craftsman style and updated kitchen and bathroom. The property is close to a busy road but the road noise was not a problem. We all enjoyed our stay and found the house to be a great location for Athens.

The kitchen seemed updated, and the relative proximity to campus was great.Host communications was goid, but directions to the driveway were a little unclear. Also, its not really a driveway, but more of a gravel road back to tbe house. The upstairs bathroom had dead bugs on the back of the vanity. And there were dust bunnies on the wall in the second bathroom. It was pretty obvious the house hadn't been scrubbed in a minute.

OU Homecoming Weekend

We spent a long weekend here for Ohio University Homecoming. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect as well. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great stay. Super private.

My family including adult children stayed here for a family reunion in town. We had a couple of late night get togethers with the other families and it was nice knowing we weren't going to disturb anyone else coming back so late and no one to disturb us in the morning. My adult children appreciated the coffee and coffee makers in the house! Thanks a bunch and we hope to return!

Nice house at a reasonable price

House was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The neighborhood seemed safe, but it was not at all walkable, as it was wedged between some big highways and on-ramps which separated it from the campus neighborhood, and windy and hilly back roads with no shoulder were a very indirect (impractical) alternative. However, this probably makes it more affordable to rent, which I appreciated. Overall it was a good value.

So close to everything yet so far from everything!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, over thankagiving 2020. It's was a little tricky to find, but this property is "a sleeper" perky husband. The outside looks standard, inviting but not flashy. When we went inside we were overjoyed at what we found, the pictures do not do it justice. Everything is updated in the kitchen and bathrooms, the woodwork everywhere makes it feel so homey, the couch is perfect for relaxing, and the bed was comfy. The Wi-Fi was fast, which is always nice. The house is less than a 10 minute drive to Ohio University and about 30-45 minutes from the lovely hiking in Hocking Hills Yes, the freeway is loud. But earplugs were in the bedrooms if you wanted to use them. I would only change 2 things about the house. First, the living room needs a few blankets or throws, it can get chilly in there at night. Second, a tankless water heater would make steamy showers even better.

Clean, roomy house in a convenient location

Overall, the place was great. Well-stocked kitchen with a Keurig and K Cups. Comfortable furniture throughout the house. With no WiFi or cable, the nice selection of DVDs gave us a great way to unwind at the end of the day. Knocking off one star for two reasons. First, it's much closer to the highway than I expected, so it was quite noisy (though there were ear plugs left in the bedrooms which we greatly appreciated Secondly, the AC didn't cool the upstairs where the bedrooms are. We were here during a 90+ heat spell, but the upstairs was uncomfortably warm while the first floor was almost too cold since we had the AC on a cooler temp hoping to cool the upstairs. Still, highly recommend if you're visiting Athens!

Clean and Comfortable House, and Privacy to Boot!

We got very lucky with this last minute booking. The house was spotless, and very private. Recently remodeled throughout. Communication with the owners was also a breeze. Perfect for our weekend get-away to enjoy Athens.
