I’d highly recommend this cozy house if you are planning to be in Athens! We loved the dog items left out. Everything was super clean and it was a perfect place to relax. The host was very responsive and friendly along the way.

The host was very welcoming and communication was great. The amenities were great with one exception; the faucet in the bathtub was hard to manage and the water was barely warm enough. Everything else was great and the place was exceptionally clean. We would definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway.

Great weekend getaway!

The house was perfect for our family group traveling for OU graduation. Close to campus but also close to hiking. It was clean and well stocked. Loved it!

This cottage was perfect for our needs. The host was very accommodating to our dogs and even put out little touches to make dog lovers and their dogs feel welcome. From dog themed hand towels, blanket, coffee table book and playing cards to dog bowls and treats we felt at home and pampered. Lots of seating and large TV to catch up on a few guilty pleasures of reality TV and other brainless downtime entertainment. Comfy beds made relaxation and rest easy. The kitchen is very nice and well stocked and the kitchen table served as a great space to work and study for those needing to prep for meetings.We were pleasantly surprised that DoorDash even delivered to the cottage so we could get dinner on our travel day there and groceries delivered for those late night snack needs. :)

Fourth of July in Athens

We really enjoyed celebrating the holiday at the cottage with friends in the area. The fireworks, shopping and ice cream downtown were worth the sojourn out, and the woods in Strouds Run made for a pleasant hike. Our lodgings and amenities at the cottage ran smoothly and comfortably (thanks to Jon and Teresa), and the natural surroundings are serene and full of beautiful nature.

House was neat and clean. Location is near Stroud Run State Park. Athens is a short drive away for supermarkets and restaurants. Roads are hilly and curvy. Very enjoyable stay.

Cozy little house in the woods.

The property was clean and the kitchen was great. My only 'negative' was that wifi is not available and cell service is weak.

Awesome stay in a beautiful setting!

We were in town for OU Family weekend and enjoyed our stay immensely! Immaculately clean space and very comfortable beds. Pet friendly so my son could see his beloved pup and plenty of space for us to relax as a family and watch football, etc. Would highly recommend and will plan to book this property again! Many Thanks to the host for a great experience. :)

Our stay was awesome! The Cottage was beyond expectations. We have been coming to Athens since 2016 when my oldest granddaughter went to OU. Now our youngest granddaughter is in her junior year and this is one of the 2 best rentals we have stayed at. Coming up 3-5 times per year! Thank you for sharing your beautiful Cottage with us!
