We fell in love with this property, so much so that one family member is considering purchase! It is a quality built house, 3 stories, and plenty of room for 9 adults and 3 toddlers. We highly recommend!We had an issue with the heat, but the manager got an HVAC tech out within 24 hours. We were well taken care of on a holiday weekend.

Cabin was a nice size for our group of 10 with plenty of spaces to gather as a group or find some quiet time alone. The kitchen was generously sized and well equipped. The cabin was clean and grounds were well cared for. Catfish Lake was beautiful and the adults and kids enjoyed fishing from the dock on the property. Our only issue was the condition of the row boat (oar lock was broken) and one of the canoe paddles was broken. The management company did come out and repaired the boat and replaced the canoe paddles.

Check-in was very easy and seamlessKitchen facilities were good with the exception of a lot of gnats around the kitchen sink. We had to treat the issue to resolve. Also, there was a bucket under the sink apparently to capture leaks from the plumbing. There was water in the bucket that was not pleasant to see, smell or know it was there.Overall, the remaining facilities were very good, but most rooms could use much brighter lights, especially the main bedroom. You cannot see anything in your suitcase or dressers. The air conditioning units had some gaps around the window placements which may have contributed to gnats in the upper bedroom. The number of electrical outlets was excellent.Number of towels for size family was great. Laundry very helpful. Grounds were well kept.We would definitely book again if its available.

Annual Family Vacation

We had a great week here. Six adults and five children enjoyed swimming at the beach area, campfires at the fire pit, boating with a rented boat, fishing, and having game nights to end our days. The covered porch was a perfect place to enjoy the scenery any time of the day. Close to Eagle River for exploring or purchasing needed items.We highly recommend staying here as the house is homey, and the property has so much to offer. There was something for everyone.

Good Outweighed Bad

The home and property are beautiful. It suited our family of 15 perfectly. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and boating in the clear water. The beach area had not been cleaned up or raked, however. The view from the wrap around deck was so beautiful and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The living spaces were so roomy and we had no problem being all together or had plenty of space to separate. Much improvement is needed on being specific about what was provided. With 15 people, we ran out of toilet paper, garbage bags, and dish soap. There were lots of trash bins but no direction on which ones to use or anything about recycling. There was only one small AC to cool the main level, one for the lower area, and one portable in one of the upstairs bedrooms (did nothing to cool the other bedroom and loft) There was no AC for the lower level. On the last day we discovered a window AC in a closet. Sure wish we had known it was there as our last night was extremely hot and humid. When we arrived, we could not get the coded lock to work. Found an unlocked door on the deck to get in, Leaving was the same as we could not get the door to lock. Luckily the cleaning crew showed up. It would have been nice to have ice made in the freezer as it took awhile to make some(none in the ice trays either) Overall, we had a great time, but sometimes it's the annoying little things that keep a review from being great.

It would have been nice to have ice made in the freezer as it took awhile to make some (none in ice trays either) Overall, we had a great time, but sometimes it's the annoying little things that keep a review from being great.

Great cabin

My husband and I took our 4 kids to Wisconsin for a weekend getaway. The weather wasn’t ideal but the cabin was great. It was big and spacious and the kids loved playing foosball and pool. The water frontage was great; however, it was too chilly to enjoy it. The place was clean and spacious and we all really enjoyed it. The area was quiet too. The place looks like it would be perfect in the summer.

Beautiful log cabin home

What a beautiful lakeside log cabin home! An easy 10 minute drive to Eagle River with an immediate easy access to Catfish Lake, we enjoyed the convenience of our place while we golfed, kayaked and dined in the area. The place was impeccably clean (no small feat given the contours and surface area of a log cabin design), spacious and impressively furnished. The furniture in the large living spaces was exceptional, with plenty of seating for a large group. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Bathrooms had plenty of towels. While we were a small group of two couples, we were all impressed with the design and comfort of this grand home. A large group would absolutely appreciate a stay here. I highly recommend this vacation home.

Family Vacation

Property was spacious enough for our whole family. We enjoyed the whole Up North feel from the log cabin to the wonderful outdoor property. Very peaceful spot on a beautiful lake. Were able to rent a pontoon boat at a nearby marina.

Beautiful cabin!

Park-like setting

The property is like your own private park with outstanding views. Great deck seating up and downstairs, and the fire pit warmed us nightly. Indoors has everything, with a GREAT fireplace upstairs. Fully equipped kitchen.

Relaxing family location on the lake

Well furnished! Comfortable/plentiful seating/sleeping accommodations. Indoor & outdoor recreational activities were great - with kids enjoying immensely. We did have to wash a number of kitchen items prior to using, as they were notably dirty/sticky. We tried to use the dishwasher, but it would not close/lock in order to run, so we ended up having to do a lot of dishwashing by hand in single sink all week. Washer & dryer were great. WiFi was slow and TV reception not great, but didn't watch much as we spend majority of time outdoors. Very quiet allowing us to hear the lake loons - a real bonus! No neighbors home until final day, when they arrived with a barking dog whenever we were outside. Fire pit was also a real nice experience. Overall, a very enjoyable week!

Eagle River Chain of Lakes

The lodge was clean and property well maintained. The kitchen was large and had two usable tables and 4 seats at the bar. The kitchen was poorly stocked for large groups that cook. The property comfortably sleeps 13 maximum. The upstairs of the lodge has a very steep incline/decline staircase which is not safe for children or physically challenged individuals. Catfish lake is a great swimming and fishing lake. The property has a nice dock to park a boat and misc. water toys. We enjoyed the fire pit and the patio tables and chairs were well maintained. Great location and lake!
