Annual Family Vacation

We had a great week here. Six adults and five children enjoyed swimming at the beach area, campfires at the fire pit, boating with a rented boat, fishing, and having game nights to end our days. The covered porch was a perfect place to enjoy the scenery any time of the day. Close to Eagle River for exploring or purchasing needed items.We highly recommend staying here as the house is homey, and the property has so much to offer. There was something for everyone.

We fell in love with this property, so much so that one family member is considering purchase! It is a quality built house, 3 stories, and plenty of room for 9 adults and 3 toddlers. We highly recommend!We had an issue with the heat, but the manager got an HVAC tech out within 24 hours. We were well taken care of on a holiday weekend.

Cabin was a nice size for our group of 10 with plenty of spaces to gather as a group or find some quiet time alone. The kitchen was generously sized and well equipped. The cabin was clean and grounds were well cared for. Catfish Lake was beautiful and the adults and kids enjoyed fishing from the dock on the property. Our only issue was the condition of the row boat (oar lock was broken) and one of the canoe paddles was broken. The management company did come out and repaired the boat and replaced the canoe paddles.

Great cabin

My husband and I took our 4 kids to Wisconsin for a weekend getaway. The weather wasn’t ideal but the cabin was great. It was big and spacious and the kids loved playing foosball and pool. The water frontage was great; however, it was too chilly to enjoy it. The place was clean and spacious and we all really enjoyed it. The area was quiet too. The place looks like it would be perfect in the summer.

Property was spacious enough for our whole family. We enjoyed the whole Up North feel from the log cabin to the wonderful outdoor property. Very peaceful spot on a beautiful lake. Were able to rent a pontoon boat at a nearby marina.

The property is like your own private park with outstanding views. Great deck seating up and downstairs, and the fire pit warmed us nightly. Indoors has everything, with a GREAT fireplace upstairs. Fully equipped kitchen.

The only issue I had was for a high end rental, the kitchen was a let down, I cooked a Thanksgiving meal and the oven was horrible, and I should have brought my sharp knives from home and some other kitchen gadgets.

Check-in was very easy and seamlessKitchen facilities were good with the exception of a lot of gnats around the kitchen sink. We had to treat the issue to resolve. Also, there was a bucket under the sink apparently to capture leaks from the plumbing. There was water in the bucket that was not pleasant to see, smell or know it was there.Overall, the remaining facilities were very good, but most rooms could use much brighter lights, especially the main bedroom. You cannot see anything in your suitcase or dressers. The air conditioning units had some gaps around the window placements which may have contributed to gnats in the upper bedroom. The number of electrical outlets was excellent.Number of towels for size family was great. Laundry very helpful. Grounds were well kept.We would definitely book again if its available.

Great Getaway Spot

Getting in and contacting management when needed were very efficient and prompt! This is an absolutely gorgeous space. Couldn't have imagined a more beautiful house and yard. Just to note: there were some ants in the house, and the patio/outside furniture and swingset were very dirty. It would have been great to have them wiped down before our arrival, just a suggestion! Otherwise, very great experience!

Beautiful log cabin home

What a beautiful lakeside log cabin home! An easy 10 minute drive to Eagle River with an immediate easy access to Catfish Lake, we enjoyed the convenience of our place while we golfed, kayaked and dined in the area. The place was impeccably clean (no small feat given the contours and surface area of a log cabin design), spacious and impressively furnished. The furniture in the large living spaces was exceptional, with plenty of seating for a large group. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Bathrooms had plenty of towels. While we were a small group of two couples, we were all impressed with the design and comfort of this grand home. A large group would absolutely appreciate a stay here. I highly recommend this vacation home.

Only thing negative is there were very limited pots and pans. Plenty of lids but only 1 skillet. For a home that sleeps sixteen not sufficient. Not a single wine glass. Kitchen could use a restocking.
