They gave me wrong keys upon check in and it was midnight so no one in office. Took till 2:45am to get right key to get in room. Then they only compensated 70. Room was nice.

Room was as advertised

The check in was a little different as you have to pick your key up at the bottom of the mountain but not too much trouble. The pull out couch was broken so 3 of us had to sleep in the king bed but we aren't that picky. We did call and let them know and hopefully it will be fixed for the next guest. We went for the GNCC so there was no parking and we had to park at the bottom of the mountain I assume it was just because it was a huge event. The location was perfect to see the start, sign ups, and scoring so that was a huge bonus!! Overall not a bad experience.

Great location, basic needs met

Overall loved the location, right outside the rentals for skis and lessons and skidder learning area. Can’t get much closer to the slopes. Was missing the ski locker combination (had to call office to get) and pull out couch was broken but they did supply blow up mattresses, which worked great but was a surprise. Other than these few inconveniences our place was clean, and served our small family fine. Vending machines on 1st floor had snacks, vending on 3rd floor had drinks (1/2 sold out but it was a busy week Christmas/NYE).

Snowshoe at Expidition station 308

Property was as listed, slopeside. Equipped as listed. Easy access to village and slopes. Probably should advise renters that a snowmaking machine is located within 10 feet of window and is very loud during snowmaking times. We weren’t offended by it but some might be. We were given the wrong keys at check in, but were promptly responded to and got the proper keys. Overall a good experience.

Great location, needs some attention

The location of this property is fantastic. In the village and ski in/ski out. The property itself needs some attention. There was no duvet/comforter on the K bed and the pullout only had sheets, no blanket. Kind of a miss for a winter rental. The pullout had not been cleaned and there was a significant amount of food crumbs in the couch when we unfolded the bed. Entering the property was a little tricky with limited parking for unloading. It would have been helpful to know there were carts in the lobby area to use. With a little TLC those are all easy fixes.

Great Room but too much hassle.

The room is exactly as described but Casago's reservation policies are trash. I only used them because nothing was available so last minute through Snowshoe. Same price as everyone else but you have to pick up a physical key at the bottom of the mountain and then return it after leaving. Also pictures of ID's and selfies and signed papers were ridiculously excessive. Save yourself the hassle and just rent theough Snowshoe. You also get free access to split rock pool & hot tub through Snowshoe but it's $15pp per day if you use anyone else.

Dallas I am sorry you feel this way, regarding our reservation policies, we ask for this information as a safety precaution to avoid identity theft on your behalf as well as ours. We also require that the individual making a reservation is over 25+ years old. The advantage of our policy regarding identity is taken care of ahead of time, if you have to pick up keys at our office there is no waiting in line, you come in pick up your packet with your keys, and you are on your way. If your reservation is in lodging with a code you drive directly to your unit, no check in required. If your reservation is with Snowshoe Resort you must check in at a Front Desk and during busy check in dates you will be standing in a long line to check in. -Linda Casago Snowshoe Team
