This is a great apartment in every way: charming, comfy, quiet, immaculate, an amazing amount of amenities of all types! Appliances are excellent--a Keurig that does both single pods & carafe drip; brilliant! Fridge is awesome, & stocked with necessities & then some. A very pleasant deck is off the living room; great for 'sundowners' or whatever. Appliances & wifi all work well, & easily. (Note: stairs to 2nd floor are not steep & have good railings.) Location is excellent for being able to walk to many shops & restaurants nearby, & yet, is quiet & peaceful despite its nearness to Dock Square's hustle & bustle! Hosts are very welcoming & gracious, & helpful as needed. We certainly hope to stay there again, & strongly recommend the apartment to others.

Amazing stay! Has everything you need!

We loved this place, the owner took such great care of us. She even had a few groceries stocked which was super helpful and everything else you may need. The location is an easy walk to the shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic experience in Kennebunkport

Excellent location, walking distance to everything. But still off the main road, to help with any noise. Very gracious host, offering snacks and extra hospitality. We had an excellent experience.

Best place ever

We can't imagine a better place to stay than this charming 2nd floor apartment--right in town and fully stocked with everything from cookies and milk to lawn chairs and beach towels. Plenty of room and top-of-the-line linens and comforters, plus the most amazing hosts, JoAnn and Mario! We especially appreciate the care they have taken to preserve the charm and beauty of this historic home. Best place we ever stayed, really, perfect.

Our stay was beautiful and the hosts made us feel like we were family, providing snacks, milk for cereal and coffee. The house was clean and welcoming with easy walking to all Kennebunkport has to over. Just lovely!

Warm, Cozy, Kennebunkport Haven

Best stay ever. Hosts were wonderful and the location was perfect for visiting Dock Square a short walk away! Apartment was exceptionally decorated and I had the best sleep ever! Nice deck to sit out on and enjoy your morning coffee. The hosts have thought of everything you might need during your stay. My son in college spent some of the stay with me and loved it as well. Exceptional stay. We will definitely be back. Thank you JoAnn and Mario!

Maine road-trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was beautiful, spacious and in the perfect location. JoAnn was a wonderful host. The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked with everything we could possibly need. The extra snacks and groceries supplied were an unexpected bonus and very much appreciated. Whenever we return to Kennebunkport we would love to stay again.

Cozy and convenient to town

We booked this as a last-minute addition to a vacation and were delighted with the location, as we didn't have to get in the car at all once we arrived. We walked to dinners, breakfasts, browsing, etc. The hostess kindly showed us all the little extra touches this place has, including snacks! The apartment was impeccably maintained in a historic old building that made us feel right at home.

Wonderful place

Hosts are 5 Star. Apartment was clean and very well stocked with a great assortment of snacks, drinks and soaps etc. Location is ideal for day trips. Portland and Freeport north and Portsmouth south are easy 30-45 minute drives. The town is quant with beaches. Very walkable. And the final luxury that was a must for us, private parking for one car. It makes a big difference in a small busy little town.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

There are no words to properly describe how amazing our experience was. Jo-Ann (Nan!) is the ULTIMATE host. She has thought of everything. She had umbrellas, a ring holder at the sink, distilled water for the iron/steamer, a stocked amenities supply in the medicine cabinet, breakfast and snack goodies my kids devoured…..the attention to detail is so impressive. The unit is gorgeous and the location is exactly where you want to be. This historic home oozes with character and is beautiful and comfortable. Jo-Ann feels like family now and we can’t wait to visit again.

Immaculate Property in a Great Location

I can't say enough good things about this property. The location is perfect for walking to shops and restaurants in Kennebunkport. We left our car parked in our off street assigned space and walked everywhere. The unit is impeccably clean and nicely decorated and furnished. The owners are very helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The extras they provided were like no other vacation rental we have stayed in and made our stay even better (snacks, coffee, creamer, milk, cereal, ziplock bags, extra towels, linens, and too many others to list). I can't think of a single thing that would make this place better.

5 Star Vacation Home

Our family just had a wonderful stay. Joanne and Mario are fantastic hosts. Joanne put a lot of thought into anything you could possibly want or need - sunscreen, bug spray, ponchos, a well stocked kitchen. This deserves more than 5 stars for that alone. The home was impeccably clean and there were so many extra linens and towels available. We did not want for anything. It is the perfect location, located just across the street from dock square so I could walk to get my cappuccino every morning and an ice cream each night for my daughter. Do yourself a favor and book this for your next family vacation.

As a first-time client for this type of lodging, I went into this weekend hoping for something at least satisfactory. Well, I was greatly surprised and more than a little pleased with the physical layout of this truly unique property. This unit consisted of a fully equiped kitchen, dining and living area, a full kingsized bedroom area, a separate sleeping area with a futon, and access to additional sleeping space if needed. There was also a very much appreciated deck area which was most welcome since the weather allowed us to sit outdoors enjoying the warm evenings after diner. The location of the unit was also unbelievable since it was just steps out of Dock Square, making it so easy to just stroll into town after dinner to enjoy a darkened and quiet K'port once the hustle and bustle of the day traffic had ended. The owners of the unit (Joanne and Mario) were the best hosts that I (and my family) had ever encountered as they were most welcoming when we arrived, helpful as they made sure that we had everything that we might need during our stay, and gracious as they allowed us to share a portion of their home. And, as hosts, they were unbelievably generous. They had stocked the bathroom and the kitchen with all types of necessities, snacks and breakfast foods that we might have needed. In short, they provided me and my family with a home away from home. However, most of all, Joanne and Mario made us feel welcome; we had become friends. We will return.

Great stay!!!

Super cute. Lots of linens and towels. I cook on vacation. I made pancakes and even cake and a crockpot soup! The kitchen had everything and the freebie food and snacks were plentiful and lots of variety! We met the owner - super super super nice folks. We have stayed in Kennebunkport in various properties for 15 years. The location of this property is right downtown in this charming Maine town so the location was perfect. Walk to everything. Everything was awesome.

Great spot in the heart of Kennebunkport!

My sister and I enjoyed a girls weekend in Kennebunkport and this apartment checked all the boxes. Great location, lovely accommodations and responsive hosts. We were thrilled and would certainly return. Thank you JoAnn and Mario for a great stay in one of our favorite locations!

Most Charming Getaway

We so enjoyed our stay here! Mrs. JoAnn and Mr. Mario were so gracious and welcoming. The house is SO beautiful, cozy, and clean. Mrs. JoAnn provided everything you could need and more. We definitely hope to return!

Great family vacation

Everything was great! Plenty of room for the family to spread out and having a kitchen was a plus. Our hostess was so wonderful and great snacks for the kids to enjoy. We loved our visit to Kennebunkport, hopefully see you next year.
