Aproveche al máximo sus vacaciones familiares en esta hermosa casa de dos pisos y 3 dormitorios / 4 baños con un dormitorio adicional con literas. Con más de 4000 pies cuadrados de espacio habitable y alojamiento para 15 personas, esta casa es ideal para grupos grandes o familias. Hay dos espacios de vida; una sala multimedia / familiar y una gran sala de estar con varios asientos. Un gran comedor formal que puede acomodar fácilmente a 12, hermosa cocina de galera, dormitorio principal y baño, y dormitorio de invitados y baño. Ubicada en un rincón tranquilo y escondido del Resort y enclavada entre altos pinos, esta casa ofrece un amplio estacionamiento para todo el grupo y es el 'único' alquiler de vacaciones en el Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort que permite estacionar para su embarcación acuática o remolques

Hay dos grandes suites principales en esta fabulosa casa, una está arriba y la otra está abajo. El maestro de la planta baja tiene una cama king size y un sofá cama doble. También incluye un televisor y un reproductor de DVD, además de un gran baño principal con tocadores dobles y una bañera.

El segundo dormitorio tiene una cama king y su propio baño privado. También viene con un televisor y un reproductor de DVD. En el piso de arriba, te ENCANTARÁ el 3er dormitorio, que también es el segundo dormitorio principal. ¡Cuenta con una cama king size, un sofá cama Queen, una mesa de juego y sala de estar más un baño completo! También tiene su propio televisor y reproductor de DVD.

Además, el piso de arriba tiene una sala de literas adicional con 2 literas extra largas incorporadas, equipadas con un televisor con reproductor de DVD. En la sala de estar, también hay un sofá cama Queen, un televisor de pantalla plana y otra mesa grande para juegos familiares o pizza mientras ve la televisión.

La casa se encuentra a pocos pasos de la piscina comunitaria y cuenta con un amplio patio exterior con una nueva parrilla, mesa y sillas, y cómodas tumbonas. Todo esto más una cocina completamente equipada y tendrá una vacación que querrá recordar por muchos años.

Golf Trip

House was perfect for our golf trip. The house is big enough to handle large groups and still give everyone plenty of space where no one feels crowded. Location is perfect. Easy to get to and close to multiple courses

Enjoyed our stay. If you’re looking for a simple place and a great location this is it. The house is Oddly laid out, But it had all the towels you could need. An endless amount of kitchen accessories.

Promising place to stay

Great place, surrounding areas was relaxing with golf carts. But internet connection was choppy some places in house didn't evening have it.

There were 3 families, 13 people that stayed in home.

Communication was good, they were flexible and allowed a Sunday to Sunday stay. When I called, during our stay for anything or information, they answered or assisted quickly.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Anytime we needed help with something in the house maintenance showed up promptly and always interacted and took care of any needs.

Since, you stay for months at a time, its nice to have extra space , storage , etc in your home away from home. I am sure you enjoyed the golf cart the owner added las year as well. The golf cart makes it so convenient to get to the beach, Village at Baytowne Wharf and the grocery store all without having to get on Highway 98. Big house-close to everything

The house was big and comfortably fit our group of 19 people with plenty of beds. The golf carts were super convenient, and the location is right next to pools, restaurants, beaches and a supermarket that can all be accessed by golf cart. The only downsides were that there were only 2 actual bedrooms and you had to walk through one to get to the other (or access it through a separate outside door) and the back patio wasn’t clean. Plenty of towels for use in the home, but be sure to bring your own beach towels and chairs. Hosts were great to work with.

Nice, Spacious House

I took a group of 13 senior high students to this location for a senior trip. The boys were able to sleep upstairs, and the girls were able to stay downstairs. There was plenty of space. The resort community is nice and close to the beach. One recommendation is for the golf cart to be upgraded. The lights didn't work, so it couldn't be driven at night, and the battery only provided enough juice to go a limited distance.

Maintenance of yard

We had a party of 15. The house was perfect for what we needed. We had plenty of room. Only complaint we had is the maintenance of the yard was terrible. The grass had not been mowed and the weeds were out of control…..was snakey. With a house that beautiful, I would have thought the yard would have been upkept better than it was.

Great spacious house in a premium location!

House was great for our family of 13, very spacious. Never felt crowded and we could each retreat to our rooms for some privacy. Close location to the beach, about a 3 min drive. Only complaint was the golf cart lights not working. We notified maintenance and were told they had to order a switch for the lights. We did not really think it would be an issue however during nighttime looking at everyone driving around in their golf carts left us a bit bitter we couldn't use ours. Overall though our vacation was great and would stay here again in the future. Thanks!

Great location for large family

I didn’t realize it was upstairs, but mainly it’s just an oversized 3 bedroom with extra rooms. 2 bedrooms downstairs and a big bedroom up stairs and then all the little couches around the house fold out for extra bedding. No condiments as far as salt pepper coffee filters trash bags dishwasher detergent was not on sight but we just went to the store and got what all we needed. The location was fantastic for beach access and Baytown wharf. Note that if you want to rent an extra golf cart it isn’t allowed in this area. Made it where we had to drive our cars more than I had planned. Was thinking we could just do two golf carts and manage but that isn’t allowed there. Overall it was a great stay and plenty room but just know there are only 3 bedrooms really.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in desperate need of an upgrade. It is dark and gloomy.The back porch is not welcoming at all.Bags of soil opened and just thrown on the grown. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH 5,000 dollars after tax and fees. I have been coming to Destin for 25 years and this house is my least favorite. On a positive note the company Platinum Vacation could not have been better. Great friendly staff. We called them twice because the gulfcart broke down and they were there in minutes. Nothing negative to say about Platinum Vacation. Overall experience felt like we were at a camp, NOT in DESTIN. I will not be returning to Destin Beach Resort. The beach was WAY OVERCROWDED.

Family vacation at the beach

The neighborhood was fantastic and there was a ton to do that could easily be accessed by the golf cart. The rental company was very responsive and friendly. However, the house does need some work. We woke up the first morning and realized the coffee pot was broken, we ended up going and buying one since we’re the type of family that cannot survive without it. Then once we were able to make coffee we started grabbing coffee cups and half of them we’re dirty and not just a little dirty but like dried coffee still in there, it was really gross! We also realized the first night that all the kids feet were turning black at the bottom, we realized it was the floors in the house, they need a deep clean. We also had an issue with a tub/shower not draining and had to call the rental company, they sent someone over and fixed it so that was almost a non issue. The layout was also a bit strange, the front living room only has a couch to sleep on while the main living room has the pull out and day bed, it would have made more sense to switch the two. One bedroom can only be accessed by going through another bedroom or a second front door. Overall, it worked and the location is great, but the place definitely needs a deep clean.

Cleanliness of House/Communication

The website stated to contact hostess for any questions. Contacted the hostess several days prior to trip to see about checking in early and there was no reply. Finally in the day we were supposed to check in they called us that morning to state that the possibility of checking in was slim due to them having to cleaning the house. The cleanliness of the house was knot what I expected. The furniture was stained, it had a weird smell, the sheets in one of the bedrooms had feces stains on all theee blankets. It boasts a brand new grill but the grill that was on the porch was completely unusable. The management at platinum did replace the grill for us promptly. The communication with platinum once I arrived to the estate was great. I will be sending them an email as well about the condition of the house. The pictures on line looked better. It boast several sleeping areas but the upstairs sleeper bed was barely usable it. The carpets need a deep cleaning as do the furniture. Overall cleanliness of the home could be better. It boast a game room but there were no games to be played. The advertisement is slightly misleading. The area and location was great.

We are sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with the property. We apologize for not reaching out regarding the early check-in you requested; however in the middle of summer these properties change over to the next guest the same day typically and we have to give ample time for our cleaners to properly clean each property. We instruct guests to call the day off of their arrival to see if early arrival may be possible. We do find the fecal matter on the bed very interesting. It was stated in an email that you did not want to call us regarding this issue as extra bed sheets were found in the closet to change the bed. However, the day you arrived we were immediately contacted regarding the grill that was inoperable and some outdoor lighting did not work (either faulty switch or need new bulbs). We do not keep extra sheets in any property other than those for a sleeper sofa (Full size). Pictures provided in your email show a king bed and king bed sheets so we are confused where extra sheets came from. Furthermore, the property owner and cleaning company were together on-site during the entire cleaning process prior to your arrival. The sheets for every bed were changed by the cleaners and the bedding for each bed was inspected by the owner as she was looking to update the bedding. We find that the fecal matter incident occurred during your stay at the property not prior to your arrival. We are working with the owner to refine the description of the property to not suggest any information that could be misleading. Okay rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First impression of this property when driving up is that the owners do not care or take care of this house. The outside had trees down, lawn overgrown, weeds growing up the house exterior walls, outside lights broken with glass all over, weeds way overgrown, broken down go cart in driveway, and all this was the outside. The interior was fine. Could use a deep clean and mold on ceiling in one of the bathrooms. The location is great. We usually stay on the bay side. We chose the estates because it’s one of our favorite neighborhoods as far as the area, the location, and looks of the houses. The inside of this house as far as the layout is a bit strange but it’s still nice inside. Just could use an update on some things. It’s pretty pricey so we definitely expected the outside to be better kept along with the inside on a few things. Contacted the management and they are nice and understanding but I think they couldn’t do anything with the outside because it’s up to the owners. Would not stay at this location again. I still have it 3-4 stars on a few things.

Thank you so much for the feedback. We apologize for the landscape mess. We explained the owner was in the process of switching lawncare and landscape companies, unfortunately the process to do this too much more time than expected. This was not up to Platinum standards by any means. We hope to be able to provide a better and stellar experience in the future for you and your family.

Not a Luxury Property

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the location was outstanding, the property needs serious repairs and updating. It was presented as four bedrooms, and four bathrooms, there were actually only three bedrooms and a bunk room, four toilets, only three showers. No shower in the masterbedroom. I specifically asked if there were steps on the first floor, and was told no. The family rooms and dining room are one step down from the kitchen. Very dangerous since the house is very dark, with no natural light. You had to go through the master bedroom to get to the second bedroom on the first floor, and to get to the bunk room, you had to go through the second floor bedroom. The furniture was very worn and falling apart, the cabinets were filthy, the rugs were full of stains, the chairs in the family room were falling apart, the shelves in the refrigerator where held up by duck tape, the back door jam was rotted and falling off. The outdoor lighting was knocked over, there were beer bottle tops all over the front of the house. The air was not working in the front of the house during the complete stay. There were holes in the walls, and the ceiling in the first floor master was coming down.There were stains on the ceiling in the family room. This property needs to be refurbished from top to bottom. I have pictures to proof these points, and did let the management company about this.

While this property is large and in a great location, it is an older property and is priced accordingly. I believe there may have been some miscommunication in regards to the steps. However, the virtual tour does provide all of our guests with the layout of the house, including the step down to the dining area and the family room, as well as the master bath, which does not include a walk-in shower but does offer a large garden tub. Although we can’t change the layout of the home, the other issues at hand have been addressed. Some of the furniture/rugs have been removed and/or replaced. The refrigerator shelves are currently on order to be replaced and the coffee maker has been replaced. The ceiling repairs have been completed and the owner has just purchased a brand new a/c unit. This is an older property that does have an ‘odd’ floor plan and may not be suitable for all travelers. Please be sure to view all of the pictures and the virtual tour to confirm that it is the ‘right fit’ for your travel needs. We have found that it is ‘perfect’ for some but not for all. Could be a nice place...

We had a family of 8 at this rental. Although we enjoyed our time in Florida I have listed below pros and cons for this property. Pros: - Plenty of space - Good size rooms with plenty of sitting areas - Kitchen was adequate - 2 golf carts came with the rental, this was a pleasant surprise as when we made the arrangements it only came with 1. - Other reviews mention this and it is true, the lay-out of the house is weird but we made it work however I would not recommend it for anyone with a handicap. - You cannot walk to the beach but you can take the golf carts through a tunnel (to avoid the 4-lane highway) to get to the beach. Just be ready for an EXTREMELY crowded beach. - The rental unit is in a nice area and we felt safe. - The bay area and shops are easy to get to on the golf carts. There are several nice restaurants, shops and fun things for everyone to do. Cons: - On the surface everything appeared clean but when you look underneath the sofas, chairs and beds there was a lot of dirt, dust and crumbs. We then pulled a cushion off the sofa…there were crumbs and food wrappers under every cushion. - The main hallway (off the kitchen) had something smeared on the wall in several spots, we assume it was ketchup? - Sofa pillows did not appear extra clean and one in particular (in the first sitting area to the right of the entrance) had a pillow badly stained with what looked like mustard and maybe tea/soda. - Patio chairs – the metal on the back leg of one chair was broken and another chair had a rip in the seat so both were unusable. - The off-white golf cart did not have tail lights and the back seat was held on with 1 bolt. When we went anywhere we had to make sure the 2nd cart followed the off-white cart so no one rear end it. We checked in on a Sunday afternoon and called about the above issues first thing Monday morning. I spoke with “Hans”, he listened to my issues and offered to send out a cleaning crew but never offered to fix the golf cart. He said “Mam, you have to understand this is a rental unit” he also said “we steam clean all the pillows after each rental”. My response to him was that I did understand this was a rental unit but I was confident they paid their cleaning staff very well to come in to clean these rentals and in my opinion the cleaning staff was not doing their job. This could be a nice place but it definitely needs a lot of TLC inside and out.

Thank you for your feedback , we're glad you enjoyed your stay but are sorry to hear you had issues with housekeeping! This unit has always received good reviews , including the cleanliness, so we are absolutely disheartened to hear that you had an issue. We do have housekeeping staff available 7 days a week should any issues ever be brought to our attention . This is one of our older units. and we are in the middle of updating the property with remolded bathrooms and upstairs. The Sandestin resort is a very popular beach in the summer and can get a bit crowded . We never want our guests to have less than a 5 star stay and will go out of our way to ensure that everything is perfect! Please accept our apologies!

The 2 living areas was very helpful. Double refrigerator space was needed as well. We would definitely stay here again. Our requirements are always sleeps at least 12 and 2 golf carts.
