Esta cabaña rústica y moderna está ubicada a solo minutos del centro de Blowing Rock, sentada al pie de Grandfather Mountain, a solo tres minutos de Blue Ridge Parkway.

Esta prístina casa construida a medida cuenta con tres dormitorios y un altillo construido en noviembre de 2018.

Sigue el sendero hacia Treetop Park, un lugar maravilloso para acampar, o explora Chimney Park. Millas de senderos brindan a los excursionistas, ciclistas y caminantes muchas oportunidades para salir y disfrutar del aire fresco de la montaña. Este camino panorámico se extiende casi 500 millas a través de Carolina del Norte y Virginia y abarca tanto los asentamientos prehistóricos como los antiguos europeos. SweetGrass está ubicado junto a la histórica Blue Ridge Parkway, justo al norte del viaducto de Linn Cove y el centro de visitantes.

The house was amazing and in a great community with lots to do. We were able to go on easy hikes with our toddlers just a short walk from the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful mountain getaway

The home was in a beautiful gated community about 12 minutes from town. It was kept beautifully and so clean. Literally had everything we needed for a quick weekend getaway. The bed we slept in was very comfortable. The extra nap blankets were a plus for cooler nights. Plenty of linens in the home! There was a beautiful path to walk around the lake- maybe 1.25 miles. It was perfect for walking our dog. He was in heaven there too! The homeowner was very quick to respond and so kind. Thank you for having us!

Great for a quiet get away

The house is updated, well decorated and has plenty of amenities. Love the gated community, lake, views, hot tub, house and proximity to Blowing Rock.

Love this home!

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this gorgeous home! The home is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. It seems very secluded, but is very close to everything Boone and Blowing Rock has to offer. This home was so up-to-date and cozy! It was very clean and well-stocked. We enjoyed the art on the walls as well. The hot tub was a hit! It was extremely clean and had a wonderful view of the neighborhood lake. One evening it lightly snowed while we were in the hot tub (loved that!). Thank you for sharing your very special home with us! We would love to return!

wow!!

I rarely take the time to write reviews but I feel so strongly about this house. We went as a family with our toddler and 2 dogs. The house itself, the neighborhood, and location are all just phenomenal. There's a beautiful trail around the lake and through some forest/creek that was so convenient and lovely. The neighborhood is clean and safe and located near town and so many hikes. We didn't want to leave! We hope to be back at least yearly, thank you for having us.

Lovely home on a small but picturesque mountain lake

We had the most delightful weekend in this house! The setting is prettier than I imagined, and everything about it was delightful. We did have small glitch on our check-in, which was actually VRBO's fault, not the homeowners. The website sent an autogenerated "here are the keys to your rental" email that had an out of date gate code for the main neighborhood gate, and I had screenshotted that one, never once thinking to compare it against any other communications we had received. Cell phone service is scant all over the Blowing Rock area, so we wound up having to go back to town to get in touch with the homeowners. They responded within minutes though and all was well. The house was comfortable and pretty, and perfect for us and our college age daughters and dog. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Magical Mountain Get Away

The house and lake-front setting are absolutely beautiful. The house is very tastefully decorated, furnished and well-equipped. The property offers access to trails along some of the most gorgeous rhododendron-lined mountain streams imaginable. Plus - it snowed while we were there! We loved it and will be back!

Christmas Cheer

This is the second Christmas we’ve stayed at this peaceful, comfortable property. We enjoyed the property amenities, the peaceful setting with great places for walks, and the proximity to Blowing Rock. Beverly was a great communicator who clearly explained the access details and logistics. The only thing we had trouble with was getting a consistently decent WiFi signal, which made Christmas calls to family around the country difficult.

My family and I have stayed at this home twice and it is always a great time. The proximity to the lake is delightful and the neighborhood is the best. We really enjoyed the hot tub in the winter!

Great weekend getaway

Sweet Mountain dreams is an amazing property. The house is situated in a great location with beautiful views. It is very well-maintained and extremely clean. The decorations and ambience are warm and inviting. The fireplace and hot tub were great amenities. All the rooms were spacious and comfortable…Especially the open kitchen and Living Room. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

Beautiful Home in Perfect Location

We stayed for the weekend in October 2023 when our kids were participating in a cross country meet in Boone. Blowing Rock is a great little town with plenty to do. The home is gorgeous, private, and well built. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks!
