Our stay at Quaint Spanish Colonial was exactly what we needed during a rather grueling birdwatching trip. The house was in perfect order, and Vilma was attentive, warm, and quickly responded to questions. I wish we could have stayed longer but we had to travel to other parts of Florida. If you need a "home away from home" during a Homestead area visit, you can't go wrong with this Vrbo.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Vilma's home. Everything we needed for our time in the Keys and Everglades was available, including a well-stocked kitchen, beach towels, and bathroom supplies. All the beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. Vilma gave us some great tips on the best key lime pie and other area options. We also enjoyed the nearby community pool we walked to. A great place! Thank you Vilma!

This is beautiful large home and my family felt so welcomed. The host was fantastic and even got my kids a special welcome gift upon arrival. She also gave us some fantastic ideas for things to do and see in the area. We visited both places she recommended and they were total hits! Highly recommend!

Immaculate home with all the necessities(and more). So glad we stayed here. In the middle of so many things to do- Everglades, Biscayne, Miami, community pool within walking distance. Host was so helpful with info on area and truly cared that we were happy with our stay. Highly recommend.

Staying at Wilma's was like going home to family. Her home is so warm and comfortable. She has lovely welcoming touches like fresh muffins, water bottles, and even a little personalized sign. She meets you at the door and gives you a quick tour. She is a lovely, friendly woman. The home was extremely clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. She works extra hard to provide her renters with a positive experience. Communication was great throughout. She met us at checkout and wanted to know if there was anything at all that would have made our stay better or more comfortable. But there wasn't. :-)

A charming, cozy and clean home! Vilma was a wonderful host! Greeted us at the property, provided a tour, welcomed us with muffins & coffee for breakfast, and gave recommendations throughout our stay. This property had everything we needed, including bug spray, sunscreen, shampoo/conditioner, body wash & beach towels to name a few. We'd definitely book again!

Vilma and Erasmo were warm, generous, and helpful hosts. My husband arrived with a cold and Vilma brought us both Airborne. She also had orange-cranberry muffins for our breakfast. The house was very well-stocked with coffee, tea, laundry detergent, and lots of extras like sunscreen, beach towels, sun hats, and coolers. Vilma gave us dinner recommendations. The barbecue place was fantastic. We didn’t get to the Cuban place, but we discovered a great Portuguese restaurant named TUGA. We enjoyed sitting out on the back patio in the morning. The house was a good home base for our ventures into the Everglades and the Keys. We were completely pleased with our stay.

We loved staying here! Beautiful home and very comfortable with all sorts of little amenities. We loved sitting outside every morning. The hosts, Vilma and Erasmo, were extremely friendly, and provided all the comforts of home and more. Thanks for the muffins! We went to the Everglades with an idea of what we wanted to do, and our experience was so much better because Vilma gave us information on things to do, where to eat, and how to get around. It was an amazing experience and we will absolutely go back sometime and will choose to stay here again!

Vilma is a great hostess. She came over and met us when we checked in and came over to say goodbye. We liked the 11a.m. checkout rather than 10 that most places require. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and has plenty of plates, cups, glasses, and flatware( some places do not). The beds were very comfortable, and the neighborhood is very quiet. The location is very close to one of the entrances to the Everglades, and about an hour’s drive to downtown Miami. All in my group would highly recommend Vilma’s house for a very pleasant stay. I love this home and location, quiet enough to enjoy the privilege of nature, yet not rural. Gateway to the Florida Keys while close to the Everglades. Tropical fruits grown here, while the explorer and the fishermen in us can meet and enjoy from the same location. Nothing is too far.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Bird watching takes a different dimension at breakfast or dinner time, in this house. Sitting at the breakfast room table, allow you to take a peek at the Blue Jays or Red Cardinal, just to mention a few, by the bird feeder they visit everyday.
