casa con mucho encanto en zona inmejorable

hemos pasado 4 días en esta casa que se encuentra en plena plaza de Campo dei Fiori, a pesar del bullicio de la zona, la casa es super tranquila y la ubicación es inmejorable, se encuentra a mano de los principales puntos de interés de Roma. La casa está perfectamente equipada, es amplia, muy limpia y preciosa, tiene muchisimo encanto, las dos habitaciones son muy amplias, dispone de una pequeña terraza con unas vistas preciosas a los tejados de Roma. Si bien es un tercer piso sin ascensor, no se nos hizo nada pesado y eso que viajamos con nuestros tres hijos pequeños. En definitiva, es una casa muy recomendable, repetiremos seguro cuando volvamos a Roma.

We loved our week-long stay in this apartment. We are a family of four with two teenage boys and we appreciated having room to spread out. The location is excellent just off of Campo de Fiori with the lively market, restaurants and bars. It was within walking distance of most sites we wanted to visit. There is good public transportation access nearby. Gabriel was an excellent host. He met us at the apartment and showed us around. He offered restaurant suggestions, and arranged an airport transport for us. The apartment was comfortable with all the amenities we needed to prepare meals and do laundry. We got a kick out of the balcony bathroom. It is quirky (I think Gabriel said it was the original restroom for the apartment), but it is not the main restroom. With four people in the apartment, we appreciated the second restroom. Three things to note: 1) there are 53 stairs from the street to the apartment. This didn’t bother us as we are accustomed to stairs, but be ready to climb. 2) you are at Campo de Fiori. There is street noise until the early morning. The windows were great at keeping the noise out, but be aware if you like sleeping with the windows open.3) there is a washing machine but no dryer. There were several drying racks available in the apartment. It rained most of the time we were there, so we set up a rack inside and it worked well. We would definitely stay here again for the location and comfort and convenience.

We recently had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was excellent, making it easy to get around. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable, with great amenities that added to the overall experience of the stay. The host was also great, easy to communicate with, and very responsive throughout. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The apartment was ideally located. There were several restaurants and cafes close by right on Campo de' Fiori.It is also a couple of blocks away from Largo Argentina which is a major transportation hub.Gabriele was a wonderful host. He met us at the apartment the day that we arrived and was very helpful making wonderful recommendations.

Beliggenheden ved Campo dei Fiori var helt, helt fantastisk. Der var indkøbsmuligheder og masser af caféer, butikker og restauranter lige nedenfor lejligheden. Lejligheden var typisk italiensk - ikke så hyggelig men meget autentisk og flere hundrede år gammel. Den indeholdt alt, hvad man har brug for, og køkkenet var vel udstyret. Den lille altan var dejlig at have, dog kunne bord/stole godt trænge til en opgradering. Ligesom man godt kunne have brugt et par behagelige lænestole i opholdsstuen. Der var pænt og rent. Det var så dejligt at bo midt i den gamle bydel.

The apartment was perfect. It's right in the heart of the City so most everything is within walkung distance. Our host was great, taking the time to show us where to find things and making some good restaurant recommendations. Just be forewarned that there is no elevator so you will have to carry your luggage up the stairs, but our host was also helpful with this.

The apartment was extremely spacious and comfortable. There are two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and dining room. There was also a balcony which was very nice. The bathroom inside was very nice. The half bath on the balcony was usable. The air conditioner made it was extremely comfortable. The neighborhood was amazing. When you stepped out of the door, you were in a market with a fountain surrounded by restaurants and shops. It was minutes away from Piazza Navona and a short walk from many important sites. The location was perfect. Our host also was extremely helpful. He helped us understand the buses so we can go to further sites. He also recommended an amazing rooftop bar that had the best view of the city. The one complaint I have is that it is on the third floor and because it is an extremely old building. The steps are made of stone and they’re uneven and very worn in. Therefore, if you have mobility issues, it might not be the right place for you. Even for healthy people, the steps are not pleasant. Other than that, this is a wonderful apartment that I would recommend to others.

Gabriele was an attentive host. He met us at his beautiful, large flat and gave a good overview of all the amenities. The bedrooms were large and the beds very comfortable. We appreciated the air-conditioning in each room and the fact they were so quiet:) His flat is in a great area, with easy access to restaurants and shopping. A taxi stand is just minutes away. Thanks for all the advice, Gabriele during our stay:)

A wonderful location and decent apartment but with several issues that need to be addressed:1. The a/c was out in one of the two bedrooms. It was 100 degrees in Rome, and the manager's suggestion was that we "sleep in the living room."2. No toilet paper when we arrived. I understand their may be some cultural differences related to bidets, but there are two bathrooms, and one had no bidet, so. . .3. Very limited instructions related to internet use, clean-up/check out process, etc. . . We did the best we could.4, The home needs some more supplies--no dish towels, despite full kitchen, limited bath towels, considering we had 4 guests, etc. . I think it's very cute and has a lot of potential, but needs some TLC.

Terrific apartment right in between two lovely piazzas. Spacious and very quintessentially Italian. The street scene below is lively at night, but the windows block out 90% of the sound. Gabriele was very flexible on the timing of our check-in and made everything seamless. The stairwell could use a facelift, but it wasn’t a big deal. The restaurants and markets in Campo di Fiori are wonderful, and the shawarma place two doors down is terrific for late-night munchies. We would stay here again!

This apartment is in a great location- we didn’t notice any noise during the evening from the bustling square below (although we stayed from Sunday - Wednesday). There is a taxi stand that is nearby, which saved us from long walks in the 95-degree heat. The apartment is spacious and totally adequate for the price. Washing machine was great. A few things could use some work (a few tiles are loose on the floor, refrigerator leaked, A/C unit in one bedroom never fully worked and a very kind house manager needed to come fix another unit during our stay).

Great stay in Rome

Apartment centrally located, major areas of interest are in easy walking distance, it is clean, spacious and well isolated from the outdoor noise. Host Gabriele very responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and we would surely reconsider it again if we would ever go back to Rome !

Wonderful location, clean and comfortable.

Great host, wonderful communication. Very enjoyable stay, know the second bathroom is outside on the terrace and the stairs up are numerous and could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. The square is a great place to relax at night following a long day. Very close to all attractions.

Fabulous Apartment in the Heart of Rome!

My daughter and I spent three amazing days in Rome, and our apartment couldn't have been better! It's just as beautiful and spacious in person as it is in the pictures. Gabriele was very attentive, both prior to our arrival and when he checked us in. He made sure we were comfortable, showed us how to operate everything and connect to wi-fi, and even provided recommendations for dinner (A)! The location is right off a bustling square with restaurants, bars, and an open market where we enjoyed getting fresh mango each morning. Don't worry about noise though -- the apartment is very quiet, and the small balcony overlooking neighboring rooftops is so charming! If we're in Rome again, Gabriele's apartment will be my first choice!

Roman holiday

We are a family of 6 - kids are 25,22,13 (and daughter in law). This was our first trip to Rome. The apt was lovely, rustic but clean and extremely conveniently located. Host was helpful and attentive. No joke on the climb with the stairs. Stairwell was dark at night - we all managed and considered it an adventure. The outdoor bathroom was the best part for the kids!

Location was fabulous. You can walk to everything easily. Apartment was clean and spacious for friends or families to stay. Be aware there is many uneven stairs to get up to the apartment and noise from the square into the night. I would stay here again.
