Este lujoso condominio AMARA de 2200 pies cuadrados y 10 ° piso está ubicado en la playa con espectaculares vistas del océano, la playa y las increíbles puestas de sol. El nuevo condominio completamente amueblado ha sido modificado del plan base para proporcionar un concepto abierto de cocina y sala de estar que maximiza la sala de estar y el espacio de entretenimiento, así como las vistas. My family had a wonderful experience with this stay. Communication was perfect from both Bryan (owner) and Claudia (local manager). We saw the photos of the condo, but the reality was much more impressive!We enjoyed incredible views, the pools and beach, the short walk to the restaurants, and we saw several whales from the deck.This condo gets my strongest recommendation.

We had a great time at the Amara. We took our adult children. Our host Bryan got back to us immediately about anything before and during our trip. The staff at the Amara were great. Our condo was fantastic. Beautiful views from all windows. The place was well stocked. Clean and beautiful. I would definitely stay here again

Incredible Condo!!!

The condo was incredible! It was perfect for our large group and had everything we needed! The property owner and manager were beyond great! The amenities, staff, etc. were also wonderful! I'd strongly recommend this condo to anyone travelling with young, active adults!

Great condo and location

The Amara is a great location in the middle of the main beach in Ixtapa with beautiful grounds and several pools (adult, kiddie and all ages.) Bryan’s condo is a great one-it’s got an upgraded open kitchen-fully stocked with anything you need, well furnished condo, lots of towels and beach floats, sand toys etc-those touches that bring the condo to the top. Bryan is very communicative and helpful if you need anything during your stay and there is also a local property manager as well. A great place to stay!

Perfect holiday escape

Ixtapa is a beautiful beach resort and this condo is an exceptional opportunity to experience a relaxed vacation. It is has a spectacular view of the ocean and is so well appointed that there is no need to leave. The owner and administrator are very attentive to help make your time at the Amara stress free. We had a wonderful cook who prepared Mexican dishes with fresh ingredients each day. I look forward to a return visit.

Absolutely Amazing!

We had the most amazing 11 day vacation at this beautiful property. As beautiful as the pictures are, they don't do the condo or the view justice! It is even more stunning in real life. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need, and the beds are the most comfortable beds that we have experienced in Mexico. Both the owners and the property manager were so accommodating and helpful with any questions we had. We were there over Christmas and New Years and never found it to be too noisy or busy at the pools. My kids absolutely loved the baby pool, and the gradual entry on the main pool was a hit with them too. We went out for dinner many nights and it was great having so many restaurants right across the street. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway. Hope to be back one day!

Ixtapa Condo Paradise

Two family’s (a group of 9) came for a week at the beginning of Feb. Everyone’s jaw dropped to the floor the minute we entered the condo. What a breath taking view! It is something you really have to see in person as pictures are nice but do not reflect the magnitude of it . The setup in the condo was excellent with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, space for everyone with plenty of space for down time. TV’s in every room. The kitchen what’s quite large and was full equipped. We really enjoyed mornings and evening on the large outdoor deck with glass railing. The grounds of the complex were very well maintained along with the pools. The beach was super clean and never really seemed crowded in front of the Amara. It’s a very quick and easy access and walk to the pools and beach, it really just takes a few minutes. The location was excellent, you could go for a nice walk north or south in the beach. Directly across the street was the start of the shops and restaurants, mini mart , bank etc. As for Bryan the host he was exceptional, he answered all of our questions quickly before booking, during booking and during our stay . He gave us recommendations while in Ixtapa for things to do and where to eat. Upon arrival he had food and drinks waiting for us in the condo that was much appreciated after a delayed day of traveling! We definitely know where we will be staying the next time we plan a trip to Ixtapa!!

Christmas 2020

This was a family trip and we had 2 condos rented at Amara over the holidays (13 people in total) This is our 1st time renting at Amara. Due to the pandemic we were debating if we should go or not. Every place we went we felt very safe. Everyone wore masks, plenty of hand sanitizer available and temp checks. Bryan is fabulous to work with. He answered all my emails and many questions before the trip on a very timely basis. He even had food and beverages at both condo's when we arrived (even though we only rented 1 from him). Very appreciated!! You really can't get a better owner to rent from. We have been to Ixtapa many times so we knew the location to everything was easily walkable. We did have a couple cons about the resort....the pool bar was wonderful, very handy and everything tasted great. Amara only takes cash at the end of the trip. It would be nice if they took a credit card so you didn't have to worry about saving enough cash to cover your pool bar expenses--13 people for 10 days. Our other issue (which is a big issue for us)was during the high season they only allow 2 pool chairs per condo. This is something I feel renters should be aware of before renting. Due to the pandemic, travel was down so we only had an issue 1 day. If this had been a normal year, this would have really upset all of us being we like to hang by the pool almost everyday. On our last day you could feel people getting upset with the lack of chairs. At one point there were at least 50 chairs being "saved" with towels. Most weren't used for many hours. This is pretty common almost every where we've been, Just surprised at the 2 chair limit when there were so many "saved". Security handled the situation well. Ixtapa is still one of my favorite places to go and relax with nice restaurants/shopping walking distance from the condo. I would highly recommend renting from Bryan.

Amara Ixtapa did not disappoint!

Our experience with Bryan and the Amara was wonderful right from the time we arrived to some delicious food and even cold beer in the fridge-what a welcoming gesture! The condo is spacious and more than fit our family’s needs. The sunrises out the back and sunsets over the ocean are spectacular! The amenities in the condo are well appointed and the beds very comfortable! You can’t beat the location...right on the beach yet just across the street from several restaurants and small convenience stores. Our favourite restaurant was Deborah’s! This is a great find if you’re looking for a place to get away with friends or family! Bryan was attentive and informative right from booking and throughout our stay! We will return!

Well maintained and well designed condo

I’ve stayed at Amara four or five times before. This condo was very nice - they’ve set up a great dining set for large parties, and the furniture was comfortable and clean. The interior was clean, and everything worked properly, with a couple fun beach toys in the closet. I’d stay here again without hesitation. Almost forgot - lots of owners leave beer in the fridge, but this owner even provided a couple trays of hot food when I arrived, wow! Very nice welcome, and the host checked in with me immediately to make sure I was happy. Great vacation!

We loved our stay in this unit!!! This was an impromptu moms weekend get-away, and it was perfect. (4 br, 4 bath - each master suite looks out to the ocean, the other two rooms each have twin+full beds) Kitchen is fully loaded w/ 2 eating bars and the huge dining room table is awesome. Beautiful deck w/ table and lots of chairs. Plus great wi-fi in the condo which was important bc we had 2 doctors with us who needed to work. But overall the hospitality is what made our stay so memorable! The owners of this unit happened to be in Ixtapa and were SO gracious and helpful. Upon booking they'll send you a 4-page letter with everything from good cab drivers, what to expect at the airport, recommendations for restaurants and things to do -- it was so helpful! They've been coming to Ixtapa for 20yrs so know everything and everyone! They also have an in-town contact who meets you at the unit to explain how things work and is available as needed w questions/needs. Security gate at the front is super solid (nobody is getting in the front without a wristband) and security on the beach made us really comfortable. All food/drinks you have at the pool is charged to the room --they have quick food available by the pool (eggs, hot dogs, guacamole, etc). The ride from the airport is only 20-min. It's a small airport, so we didn't even wait in any lines on the way home. Overall we had a great trip and would love to return soon! Ixtapa is gorgeous, perfect weather and a great time..this condo is a winner. PS -- these owners have 2 condos, so if you're looking for a larger group let them know. :) Enjoy! ..... (oh, and get $20 massages just down the beach at hut #4, amazing)

Outstanding unit

This is one of the units where the kitchen/living area has been remodeled to open up the kitchen to the living area. What an improvement! This was our third stay at Amara, and I highly recommend it. Owners of this unit went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen and bar area well supplied. View from the balcony is fantastic. The pools and grounds are gorgeous, and not packed with people. Pools especially suited for kids and adults alike. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect vacation

We stayed for 2 weeks in February and could not have asked for a more beautiful and convenient location. The condo is just as the pictures show. Lots of room for everyone with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. TV's had limited English stations but that is the same as other condos that we have rented in Mexico. Living room TV has a DVD player and Netflix which was great for the occasional movie. One of the best equipped kitchens that we have ever had. Lots of plates and cutlery, pots, pans and storage containers. Separate small fridge was great for the beer. Separate "bar" area had lots of glasses for any type of drink. Drinking water is delivered by administration for 20 pesos. Such a nice service instead of having to buy water elsewhere. Beds were comfortable, air conditioner and ceiling fans worked perfectly. Only used the AC occasionally at night due to the nice breeze from the open patio doors. What a view from the balcony. Amazing. Lots of towels of every size. Lots of pool towels. Landscaping and pool area are so beautiful and extremely well kept. We didn't use the adult pool but the main pool was the perfect temperature. Cool enough to be refreshing but warm enough that you could just walk in and never feel cold. Pool was not too busy, often there were less than 10 people in the pool at a time. Shaded area for the lounge chairs under a thatched roof is much better than using umbrellas. Never had a problem finding a lounge chair to use. Internet worked perfectly at the pool and the separate internet in the condo was great. Drinks at the palapa were very reasonable and the servers were very nice. They even remembered our room number after the second day. Oxxo and convenience stores across the street. Lots of restaurants with great food and very reasonable prices also across the street. Building, condo, pool area and even a couple palapas on the beach are accessible for wheelchairs. Property manager is wonderful. Helpful with everything from groceries to arranging transportation back to the airport. The owner is one of the best that we have ever rented from and we have rented through VRBO over 20 times. Always answered my emails and all my questions. Very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this condo and this owner. We could not have asked for better. We have booked again for next year.

Exceeded expectations

The condo was accurately described, but it really exceeded my expectations once I saw it. It had all the necessary appliances and kitchen utensils, which is nice you are looking to prepare or eat meals in the condo. The location was great, just was I was looking for. Great view, easy access to beach, bar, pool, and transportation. The condo staff was very friendly. I was there on a family vacation. I was initially worried about the monetary transaction because the owner does not use VRBO's payment service, but the owner was very responsive to my concerns and the transaction ended up going smoothly.

Beautiful condo with an extraordinary view & location

We have had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful condo 2 times now. It is spacious and has all the amenities you need for a great holiday! It is located on a beautiful beach that is great for walking/running or swimming. The sunset views from the balcony are second to none - just stunning! The pool area includes 3 different pools, a palapa bar which includes a few sandwiches/snacks on the menu at a very reasonable price. Grounds are very well kept. The administration staff were very helpful to me when my cell service was not working - and they called us after a couple days to be sure we had everything we needed. Owners Brian and Rhonda are very responsive and great to work with. We highly recommend this for families, or several couples as there are 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms so tons of space! Lots of good restaurants in Ixtapa, right behind the Amara building, a short walk to many restaurants. We also enjoyed taking a taxi into Zih for dinner a few times - a must do when you are there. Love the area where the fisherman bring in their fresh catch daily. This is a first class, upscale condo - you won't be disappointed - truly a great place to cal home (even if only for a few days)!

Gorgeous!

We came to the Amara on an extended family vacation. This unit exceeded our expectations! The condo was spacious and tastefully decorated, with a lovely large kitchen, large comfortable bedrooms and the most spectacular views of the pools, beach & ocean! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and very efficient. Restaurants, bars and shopping are just across the street with many choices. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone!
