Este condominio de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños está ubicado en el sexto piso de Sugar Top con vista a las laderas de Sugar Mountain. Tiene acceso a la piscina cubierta, jacuzzi, sauna, WiFi y sala de pesas en el vestíbulo del piso principal. La unidad tendrá capacidad para 6 personas con una cama King en cada una de las habitaciones y un sofá cama doble en la sala de estar. Thanksgiving Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. The rental staff and the staff at the complex were really nice and helpful. Our condo had a great view and some nice touches, like lighting under the beds, that we really enjoyed. We only wish we could have stayed all week.

The host was excellent in returning messages and was very kind to try to take care of any problems

We had Great Weather in the teens and low 20's , the little ones got to see and play in fresh fallen snow, and both learned to ski, the skiing was great, and we enjoyed a great time with family and friends from our church, and nice evenings in either a warm, cozy condo, or a heated pool/hot tub. The host was very prompt to answer all my messages and ordered maintenance for any issues. Thank you and God bless.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, exceptional weather & panoramic views! The building is 37 years old and it shows...many things need to be upgraded. This particular unit is comfortable but can also use some decluttering & sprucing up! Adding a few more creature comforts like a tv in the 2nd bedroom, patio chairs, hair dryer & more kitchen essentials. Most importantly with the virus crisis is "enhance cleaning" and other preventive measures.

Sugar mountain condo commandos

Besides dealing with the rude rental office personnel the fact that you have to park away from the condo building and take an old dirty van to and from the unit any time you want to go anywhere it is very inconvenient. The check in and out times are outside of what is normal. The rules and regulations are extreme and the unit has a musty smoke smell probably from the carpet and walls. The Queen bed is uncomfortable and very firm.

We are sorry to hear your stay was less desirable, we certainly want our guest to get the most out of their stay. We do put in the description that " Sugar Top has a shuttle system for guests. Please be advised that the parking shuttle is run by Sugar Top. Resort Real Estate and Rentals has no control over the shuttle system." Our check in and check out times are also listed for guests to see before booking. We are very sorry that you experienced a smell, we wish you would have called us so we could have done something about it. We have not had any previous complaints about a smell but will definitely be looking into it. We do see you checked in after hours and could not find any correspondence with you via messages or email. We can only assume you are referring to Sugar Top office staff. Again we do not manage Sugar Top but will be passing along the feedback to their management.

A few more dollars could have gotten a much nicer unit

Having stayed at this location before, and with rental cost in consideration, I was not surprised nor upset to find a dated unit with the bare minimum of amenities. For the price point, I think the size and location of this rental was fair. The bathrooms are newly renovated and I am afraid that this is where the positive section of my review must end. I would avoid this particular unit in the future as it was very run down, e.g. blinds in most of the rooms could not shut properly, dishes in the kitchen chipped/scratched, bedding was very old and gross, the mattress on the pull-out sofa was so worn that we couldn’t use it. Even more discouraging though was that a few hours after checkout I received a phone call from the rental agency informing me that “a strong smell of smoke and other evidence of smoking” was found by the cleaning crew, and thus my security deposit would be used to fumigate the unit. Problem is, neither my husband or I have ever smoked a cigarette (or anything else) in our lives. After several phone calls (an unnecessary waist of my valuable time) and a request that the “evidence” be shared with me, the rental agency informed me that they didn’t have any evidence to share and retracted the fee, but continued to insist that we smoked inside the unit. I am left to wonder if this is a new scam to make up for lost income over the recent recession?!?

We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. The blinds have been fixed (which was not reported to us during your stay, only afterword) and we have passed along the feedback about the beds and the dishware to the owner to see if they want to replace. Housekeeping called us to inform us that there was a strong smell of smoke and evidence of cigarette ash in one of the bathrooms. We called to let you know and ask if there had been anyone smoking and of so we would have to use the deposit to fumigate. When you said no, we asked housekeeping if they had gotten units mixed up accidentally and if they had taken pictures of the ash. When they told us they had not taken pictures we called you back to let you know since there was no evidence we would not be charging you, all of this was resolved in less than 24 hours and did not take several phone calls. I assure you this was no scam as we have not had any loss of income from the recent recession.

Nice View

The process at the check in office Fri afternoon was fast and efficient, and not far from the property entrance road. The view from unit is nice, and you can see the slopes and the mountains, (only while standing on deck, as owner needs to put furniture outdoors). The beds are king size and comfortable. Kitchen is stocked well enough for dining in. Place is dated but clean. Two recliners in living area are comfy and there are some puzzles, games, movies for use as well as decent tv lineup. Wifi was strong (but it would be nice if bedrooms had smart tvs to connect to wifi and be able to use as well). Dining table is comfortable and seats 4 to 6 easily. Fireplace is locked with a metal bike lock and no key provided, so not able to use (this should be fixed b/c it’s a nice feature (while not listed as amenity, it is visible in pics, so should be in write up that it’s not usable, or should have key provided to use). The building has an indoor pool and hot tub downstairs, and those are nice to enjoy with good views of mountains also. The parking is in a lot at a guard shack, and they shuttle you to building entrance. This ran very smoothly and quickly and you can jump in anytime so it was fine for us. All in all it was a nice place to stay, although price for unit each night is way too high for no porch and no fireplace use.

The view from each window in this condo is spectacular. There are two bedrooms with two king sized beds. Plenty of room to stretch out! The bathrooms are updated and felt/looked clean. The rest of the condo has yet to be updated, but honestly, we could care less as long as we had hot water and electricity! Drive time to Sugar Mountain resort was minimal and super easy. The indoor pool/hot tub was a hit with our entire family after a long day on the slopes. We'd stay here again, for sure!

The fireplace was locked up with a chain. This place has so much potential but it needs to be better-taken care of. Routine maintenance is desperately needed.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived to our unit late Friday night after enjoying the slopes all day and had to towels to shower. Both bedrooms had 4 or more blinds missing so no sleeping in on our vacation. And my 21 year old soon could not use the pull out couch that was advertised because the springs was poking into his back. And was way to tall to sleep on the couch. So back to the slopes we go. When we returned to the room at 6 pm we did finally get towels. But unfortunately could shower in the master bath because the shower curtain sagged in the middle and water would have ran out onto the floor if we used it. Here the shower curtain bracket was broken from the wall. These are conditions that just didn't happen. These were conditions at least the cleaning crew were aware of and should have been addressed. After all no shower and no sleep and was only there for 2 days. Very disappointed and haven't been refunded for any inconvenience.

October visit.

There were no major issues with the unit. The furniture was dated but overall, it was fine. Problems: Parking was terrible. Saturday night I parked in the F lot and the shuttle driver never showed. I walked up the vertical, treacherous road to my unit in cold weather and 40 mph winds. The front desk attendant could not have been worse; rude and apathetic. I will not stay at this property again.

We are sorry to hear about the parking issues but are glad to hear everything with the unit was enjoyable. Unfortunately as it states in the description, we are a separate company from Sugar Top Resort and only manage the individual unit. We have no control over parking or their front desk. We will bring this feedback to the managers attention at Sugar Top but unfortunately that is all we can do. Please just note for future reviews, the reviews for the unit will affect our company and ratings and not that of Sugar Top as we are two separate companies. Reviews of Sugar Top resort should be made separate on their website. Thank you and we hope to host you in the future at a different unit.

Great stay near the slopes

Our stay was great, enjoyed our condo, the pool/hot tub/sauna. Scenery was beautiful. There was still enough snow to ski, snowboard, & tube. The condo was well stocked with kitchen equipment, bath towels, linens, & paper products. Everything was in working order. The parking situation took some getting used to. Being on top of the mountain, parking was very limited, so we had to shuttle to the parking lots. Wasn’t a big deal, just took some planning to leave in time to get to scheduled appointments.

We love the location

Awesome view, no a 5 stars resort, old decorations, on top of the mountain, bring groceries and snacks because there is nothing to eat up there, you have to use the shuttle van, no parking at the top. We loved the inside pool, there’s a washer and dryer in the first floor.

Loved our stay! King size beds were great! Loved the jacuzzis and saunas. Plenty of parking behind.

Great place to stay. Responsive and kind contact person. Be sure to get your key from the office before heading to the condo. Rubbish bin was easy to find and use on the 6th floor. Played games at the large table. Enjoyed the great view!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was fine until the light switch caught fire when we tried to turn on the light in the bedroom. There was no fire extinguisher to be found in the condo, nor was there one available in the hallway, so while my mother was trying to put out the fire with a bathroom towel, I had to run down the stairs to alert the front desk to the fire, as the number for the front desk was not listed near the phone either. It was only by luck that my mother was able to put out the fire with the towel, otherwise the room and the building would have caught fire and could have had a terrible outcome because there was also not a smoke detector in the bedroom. It was just a terrible and frightening experience, and since it happened over the weekend I still have not heard from the rental company. What terrible company would let that happen to a family and not follow up with them?! I would not recommend staying with RRR- Resort Real estate and Rentals company. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere!
