Condo great. Vacasa not

The condo was very nice, great location, family friendly. The management team was very annoying. The dishwasher was broken when we arrived. We notified them Monday AM. It was finally fixed after multiple calls on Friday afternoon. Vacasa said part of our trip would be reimbursed but it never was. I wouldn’t recommend booking through Vacasa. The fees are ridiculous and the customer service is awful.

Nice 2 Bdrm Condo with short walk to the Pool and Beach

I hate that you couldn’t see the ocean from room but loved that it was a short walk to enjoy it, the pool, the playground and grilling out. The pond was peaceful to watch all the ducks floating in it. The condo had everything we needed except a fan. The bedrooms stay warm but the living room was cozy. Both bedrooms need addressed on the a/c because we had to buy fans to sleep. Any of our needs that needed addressed, Jackie was on it and quickly replied. She’s Amazing! Wasn’t impressed with Vacasa or how they handle things at all but she made up for it by far. Our stay wouldn’t of been as great without her! I loathe the pillows but the beds was comfy. Loved the condo itself and all it had to offer. Couldn’t walk to Restaurants, everything was a drive but the area was so quiet and peaceful that we stayed at. Our grandchildren cried when it was time to leave.

Nice stay but could have been better

The listing said the unit had a deadbolt lock, but it did not (we only book units with deadbolts because our little one can open doors.) We called Vacasa about the issue and they said they would try to find a solution for us but did not call back. We also paid for late checkout but Vacasa did not alert the cleaners who had to wait for us to pack up and leave. The unit itself was comfortable enough. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen. It needs a deep clean, the showers had visible black mold and the toilets were in need of a scrub and new toilet brushes too. The beds also need updating, our backs were hurting by the end of our stay.

Island Club 6102

We have been staying at the Island Club for the last 10+ years. This is the first time we have rented 6102 and it was lovely. It was clean, bright, updated and very comfortable. The kitchen was large with lots of counter space. As with many rentals, the pots and pans were well used and the non stick pans were scratched. Very minor issue. We just purchased a cheap non-stick skillet at Walmart to use during the week. Other then that, it was perfect and we will definitely rent this one again.

Beautifully updated condo

The condo was beautifully updated, however could have been cleaned a little better. The master bath tub drained very slowly (reported to cleaning staff when I left, so hopefully it will be conveyed to property management). My family and I enjoyed our stay, especially the short walk to the beach. Unit was also very quiet, not much external noise from outside of the unit even though we were on the ground floor. Overall, good experience, with one star taken off for cleaning.

Convenient to beach

Condo had everything we needed. Loved that is was on the 1st floor! It was very nice to just walk right up to the back door and drop off beach stuff. Our family had a wonderful stay & we will certainly book this condo again!

Hit All The Right Spots

The apartment was very well equiped and had everything that anyone would need to enjoy their stay. The very short walk to the beach was just fine and all of the very close stores made it easy to stock up on all of our needs. We shall return in a couple years... guaranteed! Still Smiling D&B&G&P

Pictures are deceiving......

So let me start with the positives, the location on the island is convenient to a lot. The condo itself it close to the pool and beach. Very family friendly and we liked the crafts that were offered daily for the kids at a low cost. They did provide hand soaps, travel size toiletries, laundry pods which were nice. Negatives are that it isn’t very clean. I read the reviews and was pleased to see others saying it was clean. Our bed sheets weren’t changed, thought we had bed bugs. Cleaning manager came out and said it wasn’t that. Changed our sheets immediately and was very nice. The property manager offered to have the whole the place cleaned again, but after traveling for 12 hours, we were exhausted and declined. I ended up rewashing the guest room sheets and wiping down all surfaces with sanitizing wipes. The condo needs the walls repainted and the furniture wasn’t in the best condition. I’ve stayed in places that are cheaper and in much better condition. If you’re just looking for a place to stay with no frills, then this would be fine. Dishwasher is broken, appears to run, but the pods are always in the bottom of the dishwasher after the cycle is done. The washer is also very small. Found a dead “palmetto bug” upon arrival and a live one on the am. If I could have stayed elsewhere or got my money back I would have.

What a Gem

Beautiful, Clean, with well appointed kitchen. Outdoor spaces and pools were inviting and comfortable. If this unit was available, we would have stayed another week. We look forward to returning.

Amazing condo, great stay

The condo was beautifully updated and very clean. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our family of four. The kitchen was updated and well stocked so we cooked every day. The Island Club was amazing, family friendly, and secure. There were five Weber grills around the property for guests to use. Play areas for the kids, tennis, fishing on the property, swimming pools, and steps to the beach. We’ve stayed at other places on the island but the Island Club is the best. Don’t pass this up.

We LOVED it!!!

The property was amazing and beautiful. We loved being able to walk right out to the beach and the condo had everything we could ever need. We were so sad to leave. It felt like home. We played tennis, rode bikes, tetherball, BBQd, and there was still more to do. We’d definitely go back again. Hilton Head and Island Club is the best place to vacation.

Wonderful Location! Great Condo!

My husband and I booked this condo for a rare weekend getaway without our kids. We LOVED quick and easy check in and out, very close access to the beach, having a community pool available, the beautiful updated remodeling and decor, and easy access to anywhere on the island. We love HHI and hope to come back soon with the whole family. If we had to be picky, the only things I would change would be a ceiling fan in the master. The air doesn’t circulate too well on hot nights (but grabbing a cheap box fan made us more comfortable). Also, the washer and dryer are super tiny and the washer is very loud.
