Beautiful property with leaking issues

Owner/manager blamed us of taking a shower without proper use of the curtain showers that led to flooding the bathroom, which then caused the ceiling panels in the basement to collapse. We are aware a shower curtain can be your enemy (it happened to one of my friends), but this wasn’t the case because the floors, baseboards, corners, lint from the washer unit were dry as they could be, yet that didn’t matter because the rug was “soaking wet.” She kind enough to let us check out two hours later and leave our cars parked a little longer. Worth mentioning that one of my friends opened the dishwasher to put a load on and a strong smell came out, like if water was stagnant, we didn’t use it. Despite all this, the property is beautiful and the pool was AMAZING! Easy walk to the Main Street and the grocery store.

Stunning property and convenient location

Our group of 7-8 girls take a trip from NH to Ptown every June. There was slim pickings in and around Ptown to sleep 8 and is close to beaches and downtown. Man oh man did we strike gold with this house! Immaculate grounds w breathtaking gardens and landscaping. Clean and updated beautiful house w comfy beds and large kitchen. Unground heated pool and lounge chairs and only a few minute walk to town and shops and restaurants. We definitely plan to book this yearly now. The only couple things that were tough for us was, we had to bring our own sheets and they were all queen and dbl beds, and we all have kings at home, so was a hurdle trying to locate and come together w 5 -6 sheet sets that would fit. It worked out though, just would’ve been nice to have those included, especially for the price we paid. Also, we found it bizarre that there wasn’t any hand soap anywhere and we didn’t know to bring any. Other than those two things, it was amazing and we were so happy we chose this house! Bethany was super communicative when we had questions.

Gorgeous, spacious house and grounds, in a great location

This property was perfect for 8 ladies for a girls weekend. The house was very clean and spacious and in a great location. The pool and grounds were exceptional - we had a perfect relaxing Saturday outside. The host does have strict rules and expectations for her guests so I would advise reading thoroughly before booking.

Perfect inside and outside

This property is perfect for a family or group! The inside is very well done and spotless. The kitchen is well stocked with gadgets and appliances if you want to cook during the week - which we did daily. There are two living areas in the house - one on the main floor and one in the basement which also has a mini kitchen. While the inside was great, nothing can compare to how amazing the back yard is! The pool area is fantastic with 8 lounge chairs, a table that seats 8 and a fire pit. There is also a pool house that has a loveseat, mini fridge and plastic glasses and plates to use by the pool. The trees provide some shade throughout the day and the lawn was well manicured and lovely to sit on. As far as location it couldn’t be more ideal - minutes from all the action of commercial street but far enough away that it’s peaceful and quiet. The grocery store, bike rentals and restaurants are also just around the corner. Bethany, the homeowner, was accommodating and just minutes away if we needed anything - which we did not as everything was provided! 10/10 couldn’t recommend more!

Ptown August 2021

Beautiful property! We stayed for a week with a party of 6 and this property did not disappoint! Beautifully landscaped with lots of room outdoors for relaxing, sunbathing, games, and conversation. The pool is perfect and such a privilege as there are few properties in Ptown with pools. Plenty of outdoor seating with a large table that seats 8, a firepit, and lots of chaises. Location of the house is perfect within walking distance of everything you need. The pool house has a fridge and power outlets which made it perfect for entertaining outside (music/blender/bar/phone charging, etc). Inside, the house was super clean with a large, very well equipped kitchen with lots of plates/platters/bowls/utensils which made entertaining a breeze. Bedrooms are comfortable. Living room has comfy couches and on one rainy day we were all able to have fun playing games inside. A few (very minor) call outs for future renters: no ice maker in the kitchen fridge so we had to purchase ice several times, only the one large umbrella at the table so on sunny days a little hard to find shade. No A/C in the house (bedrooms have window units) which was ok while we were there but I imagine on hot days the first floor would get quite stuffy. We had a wonderful week with friends at this home. Thank you Bethany for allowing us to stay there. We will definitely return!!

I'm not sure I can ever stay anywhere else

This was my fourth trip to Ptown and I think this property ruined me on staying anywhere else. The house is spacious and well kept. Very centrally located to everything. The pool is wonderful for those days when you don't feel like trekking to the beach or sitting at one of the Ptown communal pools. It's very private. If you're looking to book this property, keep in mind that there is no central air on the ground floor but each of the bedrooms has a wall A/C unit. Depending on the month and the breeze outside, the ground floor can get a little stuffy. Also, the property doesn't include bed linens, so prepare to bring your own. Other than that, I cannot recommend this property enough! We will definitely be in Ptown again in the future and hope to stay here again. Thanks Bethany for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

Location & Yard are amazing

The location is super close to the heart of Commercial Street and the backyard is huge & relaxing. We didn't use the pool and the firepit wasn't working, but I'm sure they would have been great. The house was very clean and fine for our stay.

Beautiful house in an incredible location

This house was perfect for my group of friends to have a nice get-together weekend. The house is beautiful and the yard/pool was perfect for lounging and activities. The location could not be better - we didn't need to drive anywhere all weekend and just walked to all of the attractions & beaches downtown. A few things to note about the house/amenities - there was no hand soap or hand towels in any of the bathrooms or kitchen so we had to go out and buy our own. There also were no extra blankets available - with only a light blanket on each bed and a few chilly nights while we were there, it would have been nice to have some extra warmth. Also, the host had someone come mow the lawn on Saturday afternoon while we were trying to enjoy the back yard, so the timing was not ideal. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

You couldn’t ask for a better place

I’m afraid to write a good review because I want to keep this one to myself LOL. This place is fantastic! The location is perfect. We were a 5 minute walk to Stop-N-Shop and to the Boatslip. During these times of COVID-19, they did an amazing job of sanitizing the house. The house itself is amazing. There is plenty of room for 10 people to be here without being on top of everyone. And the backyard and pool...I mean, come on! The pictures are great but the best part is being able to be there and enjoying it! Bethany was fantastic as well! She was so accommodating and just great to work with on this trip. We originally had planned for June but with everything going on, she allowed us to move it to later in the season. We will definitely rent from here again.

Amazing property

House was immaculate on check in. Communication was excellent. We had no issues during our stay. The pool is great and the huge yard is definitely a unique asset for Ptown. We have never stayed in town at a house w such a big yard! Location is great. Quiet street but 5 min walk to Commercial. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Wonderful home, pool and town!

We were so pleased with our selection of Bethany’s home for our Cape Cod vacation! The house was spotless and had all the amenities that we needed for a stress-free vacation (including a great and quiet space downstairs to dial in to a couple of work meetings during the week). Because of Covid19, it was clear (and much appreciated!) that extra measures were taken to ensure the house was sanitized between renters and we were happy to bring our own sheets for safety. We absolutely LOVED the outdoor space, large backyard, great heated pool, outdoor shower, and extra enclosed cabana by the pool for quick warm-ups after getting out of the pool or storing drinks and snacks. The location is excellent, right downtown and an easy walk to Stop and Shop, liquor store, and Mac’s seafood. We drove to beaches and places to bike ride and enjoyed exploring. Provincetown was also such a lovely town. Busier on the weekends but slowed down during the week we were there. Bethany was a joy to work with and maintained excellent communication throughout the whole process. We hope to be back to King’s Way next summer!

Amazing Property

There were 7 of us that rented the house for a few days. There was plenty of room, the house and yard were very clean and tidy, and the pool was fantastic! The neighborhood is very peaceful and so close to shopping and dining (we walked everywhere). You didn’t have to leave if you didn’t want to. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great Home. Good value!

I've stayed at Bethany's home in the West End annually for the past six years. The house has five bedrooms which is great for a larger group of friends. Off the beaten path but still proximate to the Boatslip, this house has an amazing backyard and one of the few private pools in P-town (albeit small). As other reviewers have commented, leave a little extra time in the morning to wash the linens (they only provide one set per bedroom and need to be laundered before you leave). The few small issues we encountered over the years (e.g. pool needed to be shocked once) were quickly addressed by the owner.

Perfect P-town spot

I stayed in June on 2105 with about 7 other girl friends and this house was perfect. It's a great location, easy walking distance to lots of great restaurants but still far enough removed. The best part about the house is the grounds. There is a huge lawn and a beautiful pool with lounge chairs, a grill and a nice patio set for meals outside. The house itself was great to. Very clean and perfect for a group. Also a large driveway for parking. We loved staying here and I hope to do so again this summer.

Clean, comfortable, and fun!

This property has it all. It's centrally located to downtown and the grocery store. Home is bright, airy, and clean. Kitchen is well stocked. BBQ area is great. Lawn and gardens are gorgeous and the pool is great fun. Bethany is great to work with and we truly appreciate her sharing her lovely home with us! Already looking forward to our next visit.
