We really liked this house and have booked for next year. Clean and a classic shore house. Quiet neighborhood. We liked the main floor laundry room. Parking for 2 cars was easy. We were only 6 people spread out over 5 bedrooms, you’ll want to make sure the layout works (bedroom bathroom set up) if you are going to bring the max occupancy allowed.

Misleading listing

The listing is totally misrepresented. First the listing says there is plenty of off-street parking, that if you are staying four hours or less. The driveway held three cars and came with 2 parking permits. The house sleeps 14 people, and in my case, some family members did not have parking. I had to purchase 2 monthly parking permits at nearby Stockton College for 100 dollars. You should not tell people there is plenty of off-street parking when there isn't, and then have to scramble and pay additional fees. I've been a VRBO customer for 20 years. I have always had a good experience, in fact, over the years, I was contacted by the property owner asking us to please come back as they appreciated how we treated their property. This owner and her partner gave us so many rules and regulations once we arrived at the property I was in a state of shock. I would be more than happy to send you the picture I took of all the insane regulations based on the homes 200-y floors. I also received an e-mail from the owner to move four very large garbage container with the previous tenant's garbage to the street for them. Each container was well over 100 lbs., I can send you pictures. were place at the end of the driveway next to where the owner expects you to eat and have a BBQ. I would love to tell you more, but text is limited and tell you how Kimbley's partner can storming into the home one day and scared our kids. Please contact me for more information, if you care.

Vacation in Ventnor

We had a great stay at this vacation home in Ventnor. This was for a group of 14 - and we had plenty of room! The hosts have really thought of everything and make it easy to be away from home! Thank you! I think our favorite spot in the home was the little nook off of the living room. Everyone seemed to pile in there at the end of every evening and it was so cozy :)

Great week at Ventnor Beach!

Hosts were super responsive and helpful. Nice big house within an easy block and half walk to the beach. Even the 6, 7, and 8 year has olds had an easy walk with all their beach supplies. ☀️🌊⛱🐚

An Annual Summer Return to our Home Town….

We are longtime "Ventnorites," and we enjoyed our stay once again in our home town. Kim's house is nicely decorated in "beachy" decor and very spacious, fully accessorized for a beach vacation, and contained all additional essentials to provide for another enjoyable visit at the Shore. We experienced a couple very minor "hic-cups," and either Kim or Mimi expeditiously responded. We, in turn, left a few positive recommendations for them to consider. Especially impressive was the supplying of all linens and bath towels, and all beds being made up upon our arrival…not always the case with other rentals. We would consider renting again.

Wonderful time

The property was very clean and beautiful. It is close to the beach and convenient for a large family or group. Loved our stay at the beach house with kids, friends and volleyball moms.

Perfect House

The house and location was perfect. We went with a group of friends but would be a perfect house for multiple families. Comfortable, clean and SOOO close to the beach and minutes from the casinos. You can’t go wrong booking this place. 10/10

Charming, clean, convenient, wonderful beach house!

We were two families (9 people) looking for a fun beach weekend and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house is beautiful, clean, has so many bedrooms and rooms to lounge and be together. Kimberly couldn’t have been nicer and more responsive. We had a fabulous experience and we would rent this property again in a heartbeat!

Family Beach Week

Kimberley was a great host and we loved the charm of the vintage house. The beach was super close, uncrowded and clean. We were able to watch the air show and practice day activities from the beach, without walking toward AC at all. There were 13 of us from age 8 to 81 and we were all comfortable and enjoyed the house!

Great Location!

Close to Beach. The porch was a great place to hang out!. Our family and those who visited had a great time. Plenty of beach towels, beach chairs and 2 umbrellas made going to the beach easy.

Perfect Week

This house was exceptionally clean and had everything you could need. All you had to do was pack clothes and enjoy your stay. I would highly recommend this listing and will most likely book it in the future! Great time was had by all!

Great weekend!

Close enough to casinos without being too close. Very close to beach. Property filled with amenities - beach chairs, games, etc. Rare to find an updated cool house with so many beds! We all had a great stay!

Great Family Vacation

All I can say is that our stay was wonderful! The house was clean, and the layout was terrific for the 14 of us. There was plenty of room both inside and out. With the few minor issues, the owners were available all the time for questions. Their response was excellent. I don’t think we could have found a better home to rent.

Great place to stay in Ventnor, NJ for multigenerational groups

This beautifully restored and maintained property provided a relaxing vacation for five family groups ranging in age from 5 months to 68 years old. There was enough sleeping space for a variety of configurations of family units and enough gathering space for needs as different as reading, conversations, imaginative play with children laughing and board games. Even when the weather was cold, we found plenty to do in this lovely home . Communication with Kimberly was incredible and precise. We knew what was expected. She provided all of the basics, such as beach towels and chairs for everyone, soaps in every bathroom, and a convenient washer and dryer. The kitchen was well equipped, including a waffle maker, an outside grill, and more than enough dishes for all nine of us. I highly recommend this property. Worth every penny.

Amazing experience in every way!

Kimberly, the kind and lovely home owner, was a pleasure to be in relationship with. Her communication was clear and thorough. She was always available before and during our stay and we felt very supported. Her home is tasteful, comfortable, beautiful and held our entire extended family. She has thought of everything so all we needed to bring were our personal items and ourselves. Linens, towels, beach chairs all were not only plentiful, and were also new and amazing. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, glasses, small appliances and cookware, all that we needed was the food. The beds and pillows were super comfortable and we wished we could take them home with us. Each room had it's own AC so we could all regulate as we wanted and needed. The 1 block walk to the beach made it so easy for everyone to come and go as they pleased. We hung on the porch, walked to town, and had short drives to access other places. We had such a positive experience that before we left we booked for summer 2020. I wish for you the magical opportunity to stay in this magnificent home!

Hutchinson Family Vacation

I would highly recommend this beautiful Victorian home for a Vacation destination! My Family (3 Adult Children, their Significant Others, my 2 Grand Children & 2 Dogs) had a wonderful week at the Beach. The house accommodated our large group beautifully. We appreciated how well equipped the home was; from the kitchen, to the linens, to the beach chairs, etc. My Husband and I flew in from Texas, for the week; and it was a relief not to have to bring any add'l items with us, as we had in past years! This is definitely a turn key property and Kimberly made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of; the entire week. (We had a ceiling fan that wasn't working in the living room, upon arrival; she had it replaced within 48 hours with a new one.) The short walk to the beach was ideal; and access to restaurants, etc was close by. We will definitely be back to stay at this lovely Victorian home again! Great time was had by all! Thank you, Kimberly!!

Amazing week!

My family and I had a wonderful week! The house was a perfect size for adults and children. It was very clean and the short walk to the beach was perfect! Kimberly was so accommodating and welcoming to Ventnor. We certainly plan to return next year!

Everything We Needed

We stayed to celebrate my parents’ 50th anniversary. We had 8 adults, 4 teens, and 3 children. The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. There was plenty of space to congregate together when we wanted - in the dining room, living room, or on the enormous porch - but lots of room to spread out as well. The little kids loved their room with 2 bunk beds, and the teens loved their 3rd floor hideaway with 4 twins. Each room had dressers, nightstands, and closets available, so we could unpack and relax. The rest of the house had everything we could ever need too, including washer and dryer, almost every kitchen gadget you can think of, and tons of dishes, so we could run the dishwasher a couple times a day and still have plenty of dishes to use while it was running. There were even kids’ cups and a little kids’ table, which they loved. Tons of storage space for all our food/snacks too. The boardwalk and (nice, not crowded) beach was only 1.5 blocks away, and almost everything we needed was provided - a dozen or more Tommy Bahama backpack chairs, a couple umbrellas, a rolling cooler, a canopy, and one nice thick beach towel per person. We had 5 cars, and were able to park all of them legally at the house - 3 in the driveway, and 2 on the street with the 2 provided parking passes. We found the owner to be very nice, and the rules for stay and checkout were very reasonable. We had a wonderful time, and would definitely stay again if given the opportunity!

Excellent Family Home

We stayed with 3 families from all over. Kids ranged from 6 months to teenagers. All were very comfortable and with plenty of room. The beach in this stretch is not crowded and very nice. Good proximity to the beach from this house. The house was exactly as expected when we booked.

One block from Atlantic City

There were 13 of us staying in this row home located about one block from Atlantic City. We had a bad experience working with the Owners which ultimately left us with a negative experience on our vacation. Many of us had traveled far for a family reunion so it was really unfortunate that happened. The property itself was spacious, recently renovated and nicely decorated - but we had few ongoing maintenance issues which resulted in a few uncomfortable interactions with the Owners. None of the bedroom doors had locks which we believe are important for privacy yet all the doorknobs kept getting jammed and we were locked in and out of bathroom and bedrooms over five times during our week stay. The power also went out twice and the fuse box is located outside "in a locked basement" which only the Owners had access to... so we had to wait for Owner to come out to switch back on. This occurred twice and one time the owner took over 3 hours to come out. I don't think the Owners enjoyed having us as guests as they took pictures of two bedrooms that they found unsuitable to their standards and texted us a barrage of dissatisfaction and complaint. The last night we were there the Owners had a confrontation in person with one of our guests. It was most unsettling and unnecessary. We couldn't wait to leave the following day and left the house in the condition it was presented to us and we expect a full deposit returned! We also had a piece of sentimental value (a necklace) taken from the property on the last night of our stay by the Owners. We are not sure why they felt they had the right to take it and as a result we were extremely perplexed and upset. The rooms all have window units no central air and the Owners prefer the temp to remain around 76 degrees - which they manually put on when they were out for a maintenance call. We prefer it to be a little cooler indoors especially in the summer time heat. Lastly we found the floors to be quite slippery and one should take caution going up and down stairs. We had one of our guests slip down a flight the first night. We would not re-rent here again.

A dental hygienist by training, I fell in love with Ventnor and Absecon island 5 years ago and decided to purchase my own house. I wanted to share my love of Ventnor for those that just want to visit by offering this home for rent to large families and other groups.

Keeping these larger homes allows multi-generational families to enjoy time together for vacations and special events/holidays. Whether planning a reunion, a special event, a winter holiday or a summer vacation, this home is spacious enough for large families.

This home has been completely renovated! Bathrooms and kitchen taken back to studs and completely redone. Brand new energy efficient windows. Newly refinished floors, beautiful plaster work, incredible architectural moldings, completely repainted inside and out. This spacious house is just steps from the Ventnor beaches. You can see, hear and smell the ocean from the front porch! Bedrooms are incredibly spacious. Dedicated work space in upper queen bedroom.
