We had a wonderful stay. The house had plenty of space for our extended family and had everything we needed. It is situated at a perfect location on Smith Lake. The bedrooms and living areas were super comfortable. We loved that there were no steps to the dock so that all ages could enjoy a boat ride. We would definitely stay again!

Relaxing by the lake

Great location just steps to the waters edge without all the steps to the dock. The kids and adults had a wonderful time floating around on floats and the provided lily pad by the dock, paddle boarding, riding the tube, and trying to water ski. S’mores in the evenings around the fire pit. Great meals prepared on the gas grill. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked great. Quiet neighborhood. Memories made by all…from age 5 to 75.

Family Thanksgiving

We had to spend time getting the home ready for us to stay in before our children and their families arrived. Lights wouldn't come on and we had to spend time finding the breaker box to find a breaker had tripped. Ants were an issue and we had to go to the store for ant spray to get them under control. Grounds in the coffee pot were molded and coffee was still in the pot. It was a chore to clean and disinfect for our use. There were several dirty dishes in the cabinets that we had to wash before we could use them. There were no extra towels in case of emergency. We replaced all the light bulbs that were out but many we couldn't reach or there were no bulbs for. The light in the laundry room couldn't be replaced. We couldn't use that room at night. The house itself was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Since we also rent our property through VRBO I know it is the small things that guest reply on and appreciate. In addition, the overall qualityl control of the property was lacking. The owner was slow to respond and didn't seem too concerned with the issues we were having.

This was the perfect spot for our large family vacation! Beautiful home with great space for family meals and hang outs. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Great location on the water. Would definitely book again!

Family weekend

The accommodations were very comfortable and the property was well equipped with kitchen ware that made cooking very convenient. House layout worked very well for our group, allowing the biggest family unit to utilize the basement, the couple with the baby to be in the garage apartment away from noise and the remainder on the first floor. Dock and lake access was user friendly.

Summer Fun

Wonderful time! The home was perfect for a big group! Mark, the owner, was so easy to communicate with. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you need for cooking! The beds are so comfortable and the AC works great! We loved that it is easy to get to the dock...... no stairs!!!! We will return for sure! I have stayed in alot of houses on Smith Lake and this is my favorite! Katherine

Great family vacation!

Several families get together each year at the lake and this house was one of the best we’ve stayed in. The back deck is great and has a clear view down to the dock so we could watch the kids easily when they were down there. When the water is down the rock ledges on the shoreline turn into great fishing platforms and the deep water around the dock made swimming and jumping in a lot of fun. No complaints, lots of fun!

Fantastic!

This has gone to the top of our list of places to stay at Smith Lake. We do a family vacation at the lake each summer with our kids and grandkids. The house is beautiful and you can tell how much pride the owners have in it. Large family room and kitchen. We loved the master suite and all the mattresses were so comfortable. The dock and lake were so much fun. Beautiful grounds. Everyone loved it!

This house has it all!

We chose this house because it met all of our qualifications. My husband and I, our 3 daughters and their spouses, and 6 grandchildren (ages 6,5,4,3,2,and1!) need 5 bedrooms. This house has so many things that others do not. Boat slip, dock, 2 full size refrigerators, areas for everyone, not to mention a beautiful lake! It was a perfect vacation for all of us.

GREAT TIME ON GREAT LAKE

HOUSE WAS CLEAN AND NEAT, NICE DOCK AND BOAT HOUSE. NOT TOO MANY STEPS DOWN TO THE DOCK AND SWIMMING AREA. WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY.

Space with a view

This was the best house we have stayed in on Smith Lake! All of our family members had their own space. Good privacy from neighbors. Great location. Easy access to the boat house. We had a great family vacation here.

Perfect lake trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Smith Lake. Every year, we go in with a few families and pick a lake and a lake house. We spend hours and hours searching for the perfect place that meets all our needs. We like clean, spacious, updated, and easy dock access (no steps and large hill) with a great swimming area for us all. This place had an easy walk to dock. Light switch on dock to light it up at night. We loved the gorgeous grassy area to play. The house was exactly what we wanted and spacious enough for all of us. The beds were comfortable. The house was huge. Plenty of bathrooms. Even though we had tons of beds, every single kid slept in the bunk room because it was so big and they loved it!! Plenty of board games, ping pong table, corn hole etc for the whole family. The grill was awesome. We brought a speaker and played pandora out on the top deck and also hung out on the bottom deck while the kids set up all of their Enos (hammocks). The kitchen had everything you needed. Washer and dryer worked great. Water pressure was wonderful for showers. Grounds were very well maintained. Neighbors were great and were extra nice to our kids. Downstairs gets super cold so my husband was loving that! Owner was easy to contact and responded immediately to all my questions. (And I asked a lot). All of our families said they’d choose this house again and we’ve stayed in several! We will definitely be coming back next year! Highly recommend.

Lake house and property was perfect!

Everything you need! Relaxing, water was great, quiet area with beautiful view. Our family of 13 were comfortable...everyone had their own area to relax or play. Perfect, perfect, perfect! Four different families co existed without any issues. Mark was very responsive with a great summary of the area, ideas and directions.

Smith Lake is one of the cleanest lakes in the U.S. and lots with no steps to the water are rare on this lake. The property has 191 feet of waterfront, a nice dock with swim platform, and a beautiful wide view of the deep emerald water from most rooms in the house. The house is in a great neighborhood with a free neighborhood boat launch and is convenient to marinas, a grocery store, and banks.

Deep water is great for skiing, swimming, and other boating activities. Duncan Bridge Marina is only 5 minutes away by boat or car.
