Casa tranquila junto al sonido, a corta distancia a pie del Jockey's Ridge State Park, con excelentes rutas de senderismo y acceso al sonido. Conveniente ubicación junto a la piscina frente al mar del Village Beach Club con acceso a la playa privada, incluido para los huéspedes de alquiler de verano. Esta casa de 1700 pies cuadrados tiene 4 dormitorios y 2. 5 baños. Recientemente renovado y pintado en 2016, la elegante decoración centrada en la playa y los muebles cómodos harán que se sienta como en su hogar lejos del hogar. Lovely home! Great, quiet location, but in the middle of everything. We enjoyed it thoroughly.. from the saltwater pool, to the cozy living area & many wonderful decks, including one overlooking the pool. We thought it was great! Thank you Sherry & Darren. We’d book again!

Exceptional

The home is lovely and very comfortable. There were 4 adults and 4 children with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy time together or just do their thing. The pool was fantastic and enjoyed by all of us, especially due to the numerous days the ocean was too rough to go in. It is in a lovely neighborhood convenient to anything you would want to do- beach, Jockey’s Ridge, shopping, etc. And communication with the owners was fantastic!

Great experience! Lovely home. Overall very happy. Considering another stay next year!!

The only complaint, minimal at that, was the lack of paper products (toilet tissue, paper towels, napkins, tissues) we easily remedied this, but suggest adequate supply be on hand and easily accessible.

Better than expected!

Absolutely beautiful home. Everything was clean, including the pool. Plenty of towels and linens. We couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay in this home. Plenty of space for our four children and ourselves! We loved the binder with all the local info! As we’ve never been here before, this was so so so helpful and appreciated. 10/10 would stay here again without a doubt!

Sherry and Darren, Your home was very clean, comfortable and accommodating. It was well stocked with amenities and we thank you very much for that. Your decorations were very nice also … and very appropriate for creating a beach atmosphere. The children were fascinated by the beautiful seashell collection hanging on the wall, Your pool was just perfect from the salt water (not chlorine) , to the jets massaging my back, to the ledges and seat built around the sides for comfort. I love to swim and enjoyed my many laps of swimming. The best!!!! Jean and I were fascinated by how thoughtful you folks were to have made this home a very complete and comfortable vacation home! Week at the Beach

My family thoroughly enjoyed our week in this home. The house may not be on the Beach Road, but it makes up for its location by providing access to the beach club. We loved the pool, snack bar, parking and beach combination. The house was very comfortable and all we could ask for. All kitchen cooking aids were available and the pool in the backyard provided an excellent time. We highly recommend and hope to book again. Thank you for sharing your home.

Great family house in Nags Head

The house was perfect for our week in Nags Head. Darren & Sherry answered all of our questions before our stay, and the house was very clean and had everything we needed when we checked in. The outdoor pool was a huge hit with the kids, and a great way to end each beach day. Access to the beach and pool club was a great perk as well! We will definitely book again, thank you!

Good location and great pool

The house’s location was in a nice neighborhood and very close to all the attractions. Just a few minutes to the beach which was really nice. We LOVED the new pool. Great addition and probably increased the overall ranking of the house. We did feel supplies were light in the house, wish there were more towels and even pool towels available. Kayaks were great for a day on The Sound. Would have liked a couple more beach chairs to use. Overall a great experience and we had a wonderful vacation.

Wonderful vacation

We are two families with 4 adults and 5 adult children. The house was roomy, we spent tons of time on the decks and used the grill frequently. The outside shower was fantastic (and a lifesaver with 9 people) This house served us well and we had a great trip. The pool/clubhouse was nice but disappointing that it did not stay open past 5. And if you want a table/umbrella at the pool you better get there EARLY. People go and put a towel on a table to save them and return later. This rental would be awesome if it had its own pool!

Very Clean and Comfortable

We had 7 of us. Everything went well. Our main complaint is there are only 2 full baths and one half. It was sort of tricky with that many adults that aren’t related. The upstairs is about 10 degrees warmer than the bottom of the house which meant we had to freeze out the 3 bottom bedrooms to cool it down upstairs in the master and the rest of the house. It was sort of surprising they only had one ac unit. There’s not really a view of the water which was disappointing. There is a membership to the pool included and we enjoyed that! We had everything we needed and would stay here again.

Lovely Vacation Home!

The pictures don’t do this house justice. It’s a lovely, inviting, warm and comfortable home, in a nice community, just a few blocks from the Sound. The owner was friendly, helpful and accommodating. House has everything you need for a relaxing stay. If it had a pool and hot tub, I’d never ever leave the property!

Great location and low stress

The property was exactly as described (it even felt bigger than it seemed in the pictures. We were 4 adults and 4 teens (16 -18) and we spent a wonderful week. I'd highly recommend. The beach club parking and access was VERY helpful!

Amazing Week!

We had a great time on vacation— the house was better than advertised, plenty of room for everyone, well stocked, and the owners were incredibly easy to work with! There are a ton of balconies that are perfect for the day time and quiet nights under the stars! We will definitely be back again!!

Great stay

My family and I spent a week here at the beginning of August. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the house and the location. We Will definitely look to stay there again. The check in procedure was easy and the Whitt’s checked in with me at the beginning to make sure everything was good. A quite neighborhood perfect for families with young children.

Great last minute COVID vacation!

First timers to OBX! We booked this property within a month of the trip, due to uncertainty around COVID and travel restrictions/previous plans being cancelled. The hosts were extremely responsive to all the questions we had. While normally we would try to be on the beach, this truly worked out perfect for us. We had access to a great pool and beach only a 3-5 minute drive. We planned out our days for ample beach time, and the location worked out perfect. Super close to the dunes too which was a plus! The house was very nice and had everything we needed. Ample space for families, and suitable for children too. Thanks again! We'll definitely be back.

Great house

We come to Nags Head every year and have stayed in many houses. This house was great; it was clean, well furnished and felt like home. Owner was readily available and helpful. We had a few glitches with internet and smart tv but all was resolved. We loved the notebook full of helpful information and took advantage of the restaurant recommendations and have a new favorite! We would highly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed our stay at this vacation home! The house was very clean, comfy, and accommodating to all of our needs. The kitchen was well equipped. We ate out sometimes, but cooked in a few times as well. The quiet and calm neighborhood on the Soundside is perfect for walking and biking. I would recommend this rental to other family & friends. We always dreamed of having a beach home in Nagshead. Living full-time in Raleigh, we take advantage of the beach whenever possible. We love to fish, enjoy sunning and strolling on the beach and hiking in Jockey's Ridge. The natural landscape and conservation of the Outer Banks along with the lively beach scene of Nagshead proper means our renters have an abundance of outdoor activities, excursions, shops, restaurants and local arts and influence available.

We looked extensively before purchasing our home. The house previous full-time owner took meticulous care of the house and property. The layout and furnishings are impeccable and the location ideal. We love being able to walk 3 blocks to view gorgeous sunsets or a 0.5 mile ride to the beach.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We installed a 14x30ft saltwater pool last year and a furnished entertainment space underneath the house (see the pictures!). The house has decking and access from all bedrooms and on the front and back of the house. The house also sits up very high which means as you enjoy dining al fresco on the back deck it is quite private. Behind the house boasts an incredible frog chorus in the summer months. There is a rustic outdoor shower which makes for a convenient 3rd option for nature lovers. The back entrance to Jockey's Ridge state park is a 10 minute walk inside the neighborhood from the house.
