Esta hermosa casa está hecha a medida para las vacaciones perfectas. Tiene todo el encanto de la histórica Nags Head con todo el lujo y el confort de hoy. ¡Completo con muebles de primera línea y una excelente vista al mar!

Disfrute del gran patio trasero cercado con piscina (12x25) y bañera de hidromasaje. La sala de recreación en el nivel inferior tiene una mesa de billar, una mesa de futbolín, un bar y un televisor de pantalla plana. El nivel medio tiene la mayoría de la sala de estar, donde cada habitación tiene acceso directo a una terraza y un baño. Cada habitación tiene su propia televisión. La gran sala de estar en el nivel superior tiene un televisor de pantalla plana enorme y una vista impresionante del océano. Hay más que suficiente diversión para cada tipo de turista en esta casa.

It was a really nice house with a lot to offer. It was very clean when we arrived. A couple things though, the towel ring and bar in the master bath were about to fall off. The sliding door to the pool is horribly hard to open and close and the outside access to the pool does not lock. We loved the kitchen and assortment of puzzles. We would definitwly use this home again.

Family Vacation

Great location and Communication with management was easy. The pool and hot tub were clean and very enjoyable. We loved the short walk to the beach and enjoyed the pool after our beach time each day. We brought a wagon to haul our beach stuff over in which made it an easy walk, but they did have free parking at the beach access if you needed to drive. The walk was only like a block. The kids enjoyed the swing set in the back yard but the yard itself definitely needs attention. You need shoes on because of the thorns. Lots of great places for dinner nearby but go early because they get very busy. After dinner we would enjoy Booty Treats for ice cream. Our family of 8 had a Great time at Shorenuff and would recommend!

Perfect for our Vacation with the Grandkids

We were close to the ocean (a block and half away), close to the public park only a couple blocks away, very close to the Lions Grocery and many tourist attractions. The outdoor pool was superb and our grandkids spent 3+ hours a day there.There were a couple of issues that I would like to share. The listing indicated that there were bunk beds with trundle. The trundle was missing but we noticed that there was a sofa sleeper on the first floor. We asked (Beach Realty) if we could get linens for that bed but were told that since it was not included in the listing that they could not provide them. Would have thought since there was no trundle that they might accommodate this request. Much was said in reviews about cleanliness. I think a thorough cleaning is necessary. The carpeted steps were filthy and worn. The vents had back dirt on them, the ceiling fans need dusting. The playground would have been a nice amenity but the kids got thorns in their feet the first time they went there and would not go back. The back yard needs some attention. A garbage disposal would be a nice addition. Even with these small issues we had a fantastic week and I would recommend this property.

Restful vacation with family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Shorenuff was the perfect vacation home for our family. The kitchen is well stocked. Probably the best stocked kitchen we have had. It also had ample room and seating. Although Shorenuff is not right over the dunes from the ocean it is just a pleasant walk away. We have four children and were easily able to get to the beach access in just a couple minutes. On the days we chose not to go to the beach we thoroughly enjoyed our private pool and backyard. We enjoyed the perfect vacation in a home away from home.

Nice beach neighborhoods to ride bikes also. The pool was too cold this time of year, but the hot tub was nice. We did have quite an issue with the keyless entry for the first couple of days. Maintenance finally came out and resolved the problem.

Shorenuff

Shorenuff was absolutely perfect for our family. It is tucked away in a beautiful and quiet little neighborhood but also very close to the beach. The house was clean and spacious with plenty of things to do readily available. The home is close to multiple restaurants and a grocery store. I look forward to staying there again in the future.

Beautiful home and perfect location

The house was great, very short walk to the beach and my whole family really enjoyed it. One of the big annoyances of the property was that the backyard "grassed" area with the swing set was COVERED in sand spurs and was unfortunately not usable because of it. One of the main reasons we went with this property was the swing set for our 4 year old and the first time she went to use it she got 6 sand spurs stuck in her feet and on her pants. If they could've put up a sign of warning it would have been helpful or change the turf back there to something else. Another item we would have liked would be a radio or blue tooth speaker outside near the hot tub. Overall a great place with a few kinks.

Very happy

This house was beautiful and perfect for our needs. We needed one repair and they came immediately. Text communication was prompt. The only down side I would say was the back lawn was all sand spurs so the grand baby couldn't play on the playground. Everything else was top notch.

The management company was exceptional. We’ve done vacation rentals for 20 years and this was one of the best. We had paper supplies to start our week, and some small gifts waiting for us when we arrived. Text messages I sent with questions were immediately answered. We’ve had great rental houses in the past but this was the first time I was impressed with the rental agency also.

Great rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Shorenuff was great! The house had plenty of room for all of us and we loved the pool and hot tub. The kids didn’t play on the playground too much because the grass was spiky. We chose not to heat the pool and it was chilly at the beginning of the week but warmed up by the end (beginning of June). Nice large table outside for enjoying steamed crabs and playing cards at night. The dining room table is large and seats a lot but it’s VERY sticky. The master bedroom on the top level, the shower drain was so clogged that the water backed up while you were showering. Other than that, all the bathrooms were very nice and all the bedrooms were spacious. The bunk bed is old and rickety though. We loved that the beach access was within short walking distance. Quiet street for the kids to ride their bikes and the locals are so nice! Great park within walking distance as well. Overall, we had a great vacation at Shorenuff!

Just OK

On arrival house was not clean. Floors were not swept, vacuumed or mopped. Kitchen and bathrooms were suspect. Called and left a message because we arrived after 6 pm. With no return call the next day, I sent a message as required on the instruction sheet but still no response. After 2 pm the following day, I had to follow up with a phone call. Finally, property manager agreed to send someone out to clean. Great location, house could use some work, doesn’t get really cool when the temps are really hot so good luck in the dead of summer heat. Not sure I would stay here again.

He propped it up with bricks and wood! The next day we used the hot tub and it was fine. We got up Sunday morning to use it again and it had leaked and there was hardly any water in it. I sent an email for repair along with my cell phone number and later called and left a voice mail with my cell number. Never heard from anyone. I request 2 things before renting: Pet friendly and a HOT TUB. How disappointing to pay for something you didn't get to use but once!

My only complaint was the sand burrs in the grass area of the backyard making it impossible for my dog to roam in the fenced in backyard. Love the location, quiet street yet very close to beach access. Overall great experience would not hesitate to rent again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Well, it was not clean. We called and they had someone come out and clean fir us. She was great and agreed that it was not clean. I only asked her to clean the bathrooms, doors and floors where we would touch but the whole place needed to be deep cleaned. It was dusty and the floors were disgusting. We rent a house in the outer banks every year and this was by far the dirtiest we've stayed in. Its also in need of repairs. The pool liner is coming apart and so is the hot tub. They have a leak in the sliding doors on all levers so it's molding and wet. I smelled the mold as soon as I walked in the door. It says in the book they replaced something to try and fix this but it obviously didn't work. The play place in the backyard is pretty much worthless because of the cactus in the yard. The beds are old and so uncomfortable. We hardly slept the whole trip. We rent several houses a year and this 1 is the worst 1 we've stayed at in a while .not the worst 1 but definitely not great. This feels like a rental house. Not someone's home that they rent. Just ok things threw in a house just to get through the next rental. Wasn't impressed with this house and we will not be renting it again. The rental company was very professional and helpful though.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is super close to the beach! The public access can be accessed quite easily from walking down either side of the street. The beach was closer than it appeared in the pictures. I'd say maybe a 3 minute walk. The home appeared clean upon arrival. Unfortunately, my daughter, who just tested positive for dog allergies had a huge reaction and broke out all over her little body. I'm guessing that the dog hair from previous renters was left behind. Tortugas Lie is a restaurant/bar that is a 2 minute walk from the property. It has great service and better drinks! The pool and the playground in the backyard were perfect to keep my kids entertained. I would recommend this home if the dog hair doesn't bother you. Unfortunately because of that we can't return. But otherwise I loved the area and ammentities of the home.
