Located right off the sound and just a mile from the beach, it’s the best of both worlds. Kayaks, crab traps and a paddle board are included for you to enjoy throughout your canal front vacation. If lounging by the pool is more your style, we’ve got you covered too (pool is open and heated April 17th through October 31st)! Bringing your boat or jet skis? The dock is all yours! New for 2023 - HOT TUB!

Home features smart TVs with cable in each bedroom, highspeed internet, a poolside TV to catch the game, an entertainment sound system throughout the house, big beds for everyone, a fisherman’s watch to enjoy the sunset, and the perfect lawn for cornhole. Towels and linens included!

Excellent again!

This is our third time staying at the Hicks home and it didn’t disappoint! The house is fabulous and the host even better. Everything is so perfect here we will be back again very soon!

Our stay at this vacation home in the Outer Banks was wonderful. The location was great, so close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We spent hours relaxing by the pool and crabbing from the private dock. The house itself was spacious, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed to feel at home. It was the perfect fit for our family - comfortable and convenient. We're already dreaming of coming back!

Great vacation rental

Beautiful views and location. House had great space to spread out. Pool was heated and great for beginning of season. The owner responded quickly to any concerns.

Great family vacation home!

We rented this house for a family vacation after attending our neice’s wedding in Manteo. The location was very convenient, a 5 min drive to Jockey’s Ridge, grocery stores, and shopping, and less than a 10 min drive to one of the many beach access sites. Meschell was great to work with. Consistently responded within hours and very accommodating.

Relaxing stay

We love the beach but this property was so nice we stayed by the pool and the dock more than we did the ocean! One of the best houses we have ever rented!!!

Stayed at this house this past summer and booked for next summer. We decided to do a quick get away with friends and all four of us loved it!! Clean, perfect setting, great host, beautiful pool, great hot tub…wonderful!!

Great Place

Perfect place to relax and hang out with friends. I would highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a relaxing time by the water. House was very comfortable and clean, everything you need is there, just bring your beach towels and food. Super convenient location for shops and restaurants.

Amazing stay

This house is amazing! We went from 50 some degree weather to 80 degree weather in one week and still enjoyed the pool every day. The hot tub was also great. The house had all of the amenities listed and then some. The location was also prime and the host was great as well. An awesome vacation all around.

We had a great time and the house was fantastic. Had everything we needed and more, plenty of space, comfy beds, pool, hot tub and fishing. Host was great to work with. Would definitely return😊

Slice of Heaven

This place was incredible! Everyone has the best time, and raved about their accomodations! The house with its shady/breezy deck, salt water pool, and gorgeous view of the canal/dock were out favorite part! So nice that it was close to Jockeys Ridge, and we appreciate the cleaning lady telling us about the sound park to take the littles too. Definitely will be returning for future trips!

Beautiful roomy house perfect for family/friends getaway

Came here for a girls weekend and the space could not have been more perfect. Everyone got their own room and the kitchen-living room provided a great space for hanging out. Because of winter and COVID we basically relaxed here our entire stay and did takeout from local restaurants. The property also has a nice basement space where families with kids could use to hang out. Would stay here again!

Amazing OBX VACATION!

The host was responsive and and kind. The property was outstanding and viewed as listed! The sunsets viewed on kayaks and relaxing in the hot tub was a favorite. The overall home and property was welcoming and accommodating. We were blessed.

Nags head

Well equipped. Lots of outdoor equipment and indoor games. Weather was very cool, windy and rainy, not “beach” weather but we managed to take advantage of any breaks. Enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic

This house is wonderful and the host is great. We will be back. Only negative is there could be more inside seating for meals. It was super hot when we were there and eating outside was uncomfortable Not enough to take away any stars. It’s a five!!

Great house despite the rain!

Storm affected trip with young kids. They loved playing in the downstairs den and fishing off the back yard despite the wind and rain! Great evenings spent in front of the fire watching movies!

Had a Blast in Nags Head

Myself and a group of friends came in for a weekend wedding and had an amazing time! The house was fantastic. The woman who was cleaning thought the check in time was 5 instead of 4, so we did end up crashing her expected work hours a bit- but it was no problem at all, and the place was already in great shape!
