Host communication was stellar. My family deemed it " Our BEST family vaycay" ( we've done several) our first Condo always leaned towards houses wasn't disappointed! This unit was well equipped with everything to make our stay memorable right on beautiful white sandy beach comparable to Siesta Keys will definitely book again!

Overall stay was great! The host was very responsive and the overall location was convenient. Condo was spacious and roomy enough for our large family but the cleanliness level wasn’t the best. I’m sure that’s more so on the cleaning crew, earrings from a previous guest were left behind on a nightstand along with empty drink bottles. Two of the beds weren’t made just had comforters on top and we had to dig the sheets out. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would book again!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good location ok cleanliness but parking is AWFUL you'd need a compact car to get in an out. And if there's more than one car it's across the street an your not garenteed to have a spot if you leave an come back.

This was a wonderful place to stay on our family vacation! The view is amazing and the condo was the perfect amount of space for our group of 12. The new ice cream place right across the street only made this location even better!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: PROS - Condo was nice size, the balcony was great and the AC worked well. Good building location, but traffic is heavy. Parking for 1 car was great in garage, 2nd in overflow sunny/hot lot across the street was ok IF you got a spot. We liked the large dinner table and couch, everyone had a seat. Plenty of dishes, silverware, glasses and cookware.... some pans starting to need replaced. CONS - Cleaners need to do better, one room smelled like urine, the floors still had sand on them and the bathrooms needed more attention. The clothes washer needs cleaned, it looked like mold is developing on the main door seal. The room TVs are very old and one of them didn't work. The 2 building elevators get overrun, overloaded and get stuck, sometimes took 20+ minutes to get one. Hiking up 22 floors was strenuous for some and a non-starter for WARNED! The gym/pool WiFi didn't work and there are different access codes for the room, the gym, the pool and sometimes the pool one didn't work. The ONE working gas grill was slow IF you could get it started. There was only 3-4 luggage carts and of course I couldn't find one when checking in or out.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would not stay there again! The air conditioner will not keep the room cool. It didn't get below 74 degrees. I called they sent someone out but never got fixed the entire week. I seen other reviews saying same thing. The parking is awful. The overflow parking lot would only hold like 15 cars. We ended up having to pay an extra 267 dollars because of having to park in public parking all week. The unit was ok but would never stay there again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very pretty and nice, however we personally wouldn’t stay here again. Here’s why: We have stayed at Grande Surf and Gulf Crest before. Those also had things we didn’t love like a smaller pool, but we would pick them over this ANY day. The location of Ocean Ritz isn’t within walking distance of hardly anything. We love to walk to dinner/bars and that wasn’t really an option here. VERY limited. The elevators had issues the first few days where they kept breaking leaving everyone to use the stairs.. that’s fine, but this condo is on the 22nd floor! If you want to feel like you’re in a sky scraper you’ll like this one. Our party could not even look over the railing without getting a pit in their stomach feeling. We will never stay any higher than the 15th floor again. This was terrible. Not even enjoyable at night. The pool is also very small for how many condos there are. The pool gates also do not unlock early so if you’re going to walk on the beach before 7 am plan on walking the main path out front of the condo to get to the beach... which also leaves you with no where to rinse off your feet.. The condo: Cons:The kitchen is SO SMALL. You can barely open the fridge door to get inside of it because it hits the trash can. The comforter blanket and extra blankets smelled so dirty. When we left I did read that you just fold the comforter and blankets, but they go and wash the sheets.... I’m sorry, but if you’re paying almost $6000 for a week, you should have a clean top blanket/comforter as well. I actually washed the extra blanket so it was clean for the next family because it was disgusting. The front load washer- let’s just say it’s full of mold on the front ring inside of it!! The smell is atrocious!!! I did email photos of it and were sent some stuff to clean it ourselves...Pros: The number of bedrooms/beds/bathrooms is perfect for 2 families.

Family get away

Property itself was great. Would recommend a shelving unit or something for a pantry. The parking was a nightmare. I was told there was a parking spot at resort and one across street in overflow. Was not told the overflow was a first come first serve with maybe 20 spots so there was never a spot available. Ended up paying 160 to park 2 cars in paid parking lot. Asked the staff person for help on parking the first day and he replied “it is my first day and i don’t know anything”. The unit was clean-floor didn’t seem to have been mopped but wasn’t bad. Called the number I was given if I had questions. I asked about the parking and was told they would call me right back. 2 weeks later and I still haven’t gotten a call back. One of the kind size beds with the ocean view, the mattress needs to be replaced bc when you sit in it, you felt the underneath All in all I would stay here again.

Place was a nightmare!

A/C went out and we went 3 nights without AC. The bedroom light didn’t work in 2/4 of the rooms. We also had to go to the laundromat down the street because the washer is full of mold and mildew, the smell had the whole room stinking bad! Property manager said they could spray the unit and that’s it. After seeing previous reviews, I now see the mold and mildew has been a problem for years

Perfect multi family

It was clean, had everything well furnished. Spacious condo/Elevators were in great working order ! Beach access, beach views, access to restaurants was wonderful.

Spring Break 2025

The elevators for being on 22nd floor worked fabulous. Elevators always clean smelling -mopped frequently. Pool was kept nice and clean, water was warm and enjoyable. Our 4 bedroom condo very spacious. Floors were a little gritty upon arrival -kind of expected with the sandy beach right out the door. Condo was well supplied -with pots, pans, and dishes but no organization to cupboards constantly searching to see what was available. Major appliances in need of repair -dishwasher racks Refrigerator drawers -dryer so full of lint and sand it wouldn’t dry ( my husband took vacuum and cleaned it out-found a hair clip and underwire for a bra after removing -dryer worked better) however lint trap kept tangling the clothes ruined my brand new Nike t shirt.We are not hard people to please so enjoyed staying so close to the beach.

Disappointed

I didn’t read the reviews from previous renters which I should have.Issues:There were clothes left in drawer from previous renters.There was frozen food left in the freezer from previous renters.The vent in the dryer was the wrong one for this dryer so the vent stood out. It destroyed 2 bathing suits and one shirt.There was a hole in the wall in one of the bedrooms.The mattresses were very uncomfortable. They need replaced.The kitchen has no pantry. No place to put non perishable food. Had to take up all the counter space.

Nice place

ProsThe over stay was great. Most things within 30 minutes if you don't catch traffic. Good donut shop down the street. Walkable to the supermarket. The view was amazing and your right on the beach.ConsWent to extend my stay and was overcharged. I'm still trying to get the difference back. Beach chairs provided had a tear in them and didn't set up. The dryer has the wrong lint trap in it and wrecked several articles of our clothing.

Christmas 2024

We booked the two neighboring condos for our whole family and had such a wonderful time. The condos were clean and beautiful and very comfortable for all of us. I would definitely book again.

Spaciousness with a View

Very nice, Kitchen well equipped, cozy enough, but big enough for large family gathering (inside and balcony) clean with a few missed items (coffey pot culture project and mildewing towells in washer smelling up the laundry/bath). But hey, based on the scope of the whole package, easy fix on our side. Ŵe appreciate the amenities and the beautiful setup of the condo. Yes, per previous comments I can wholely confirm that the mattresses are needing replaced. They have a foam topper in the closet if you want to strip the bed and put it on. Over all, very satisfied. Thank you! nd mildewing towels

Location Great/Parking a nightmare

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The general building is great. The elevators have been updated and are superfast. The parking is a headache. We have stayed here 4 years and this will be our last. The condo itself was alright. The couch was the most comfortable. The outdoor furniture was very rusty and needed updated and spaced out. One set of table and chairs were stacked on top of each other just for extra use. The washer and dryer were the front loaders and were very mildewed, They have not been taken care of and stink. the mattresses were super Uncomfortable. Like I said we love the location, the view is great and not too close to the piers, but we are going to try somewhere else. Just not a lot to choose from when looking for a 4 bedroom.

Great Place/

I have the check in a 3 due to parking. When we arrived, someone was in our spot, parking across the street with no cross walk was bad and hard to get across due to traffic. As the over flow was full, our son paid to park for the week. Not bad and located behind the over flow. The room was the best! CLEAN! We will use this place again! I loved that the kitchen was stocked with enough supplies to cook dinner and other treats. Having a bathroom in every room was perfect! The only down side was parking and the public beach access was beside the condo so lots of people set up in front of the chairs we had to purchase for the week. Over all, this was a great room!!! Thanks you Emerald Cost!!!
