Hemos renovado el antiguo Queen Elizabeth School para convertirlo en apartamentos, este es el antiguo aula de ciencias, aproximadamente 1150 s. F. Con techos de más de 12 pies de altura, muchas ventanas grandes que se abren.
El apartamento permite la autosuficiencia completa, desde las horquillas hasta todos los muebles, todos los electrodomésticos: ropa de cama ...... 51 "curvado Samsung TV-netflix-youtube-hey Google ......
El servicio de lavandería es opcional, pero se proporcionan monedas, por lo que es gratis.

This is our 3rd time here, and it was great as always. We love the location, close to downtown (north), to the waterfront and dog park. And our kids homes. It’s comfortable, has lots of space and everything that you need is there. Lots of parking. Very clean and there’s always Finn pancake batter with whipped cream and strawberries ready in the fridge when we arrive!

What a delightful surprise it was for the four of us to find this amazing apartment! The street parking was perfect for our uhaul truck and vehicle, the beds were comfortable and the Finnish pancakes were delicious. We all felt so welcome in this very well-appointed apartment. Our stay was excellent as usual. Location of the property suited our needs very well. Loved the facilities for having family over for diner and visit. The Finnish pancakes were a definite hit! Have stayed at Mine and Taina’s places before and love them and will keep coming back. A 12 out if 10!

Another great stay at this property. Love the location and the apartment is spacious and comfortable and incredibly well equipped. Especially love the attention that the hosts put into this property. The portable AC unit helps a lot in warmer weather, but as the building is an old school, there is no central AC.

This place was such a pleasure to stay in! It was spacious, nicely furnished, and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. All the little extras made us feel super comfortable and well taken care of. If we ever need a place to stay in Thunder Bay again, we’ll definitely be looking to book one of their three places if they’re available.

2nd time staying. We (couple with two 13 year olds) loved it once again. All the little things (mints, every kitchen thing you could ever need, lots of towels, and much more). The thing I love the most is the location and the spaciousness of the suite. There is nothing to complain about.

Quiet apartment with 10’ high ceilings

Clean & well maintained. Lovely tall windows providing lots of natural light, Comfortable living room. A/C only in the living room but fans provided in each bedroom. Beds were very comfortable & extra pillows were provided. Hand held shower head was mounted too high for a petit person like me to reach, however a hand held is preferable to a fixed shower head. Kitchen was well stocked with condiments, spices & supplies. We enjoyed our stay.

Lots of space, Clean Apartment, Just what was needed

Nice apartment, with lots of space.I was travelling with 3 young adult daughters, therefore needed some space between each of us. This apartment worked out well. The bunk bed is two doubles/queens. Not sure, but we were surprised at how big the bunk beds were at both levels. I worked online from the apartment while there, and the internet worked well without issues.

Convenient spacious apartment

Property is lovely and clean with everything you need for a short or long stay. Pancakes in the fridge was a definite hit. Only issue was it was abit stuffy. Could use table fans in each room

Home away from home

Very clean. A lot of amenities, more than you would expect. The hosts intentionally made it to be very inclusive and did not scrimp on the details. Originally we were to stay from May 4 to May 10 but needed to extend our stay to May 17 due to the contractors not having the work done, luckily the hosts were able to accomodate.Upon walking through the door, we knew we found a true gem in the heart of Thunder Bay.We have already recommended this property to several people. Thank you Taina and Mike!!

Once again an awesome stay

So grateful to Mike and Taina for providing our group with an amazing home away from home! Absolutely everything and more was provided. The suite is quiet and the area is perfect for us as our dog trial was 5 minutes away. We have stayed at Mike and Taina’s 4 times now and each time the accommodation could not be beat. So grateful that they were able to let us stay an extra night due to a snowstorm. We definitely will be back. Thanks so much!

Was a great place to stay for the weekend with two teens and a dog. Beds were super comfy, Finnish pancakes were delicious. Hosts were very quick to respond when I asked a question.

Excellent location and property

We booked this property because it was in a good location. We are former Thunder Bay residents returning for a visit. The property is centrally located in a good area. It is close to shopping, attractions and our old neighbourhood. We brought our dog with us. The property is very dog friendly, with paw drying towels and poop bags provided at the door. Also, a great dog park (if your dog is medium/large, and comfortable playing with lots of others) is located within a 10 minute walk. The property was clean and very well appointed. The premade Finn pancake mix, with strawberries and cream, was a welcome touch. Very delicious. The hosts were very responsive to our requests for information. They had a beeping smoke detector attended to within hours. The beds are comfortable, although we'll bring our own pillows next time (the supplied pillows were a bit thin for our liking). The property is located in an old school (I had shop classes there as a kid) and is very well restored. The high ceilings and old bits of the original building lend a nice touch. We will definitely use this place again! Thanks Taina and Mike.

Wonderful stay in Thunder Bay

We really enjoyed staying in the VRBO rental in Thunder Bay. The aoartment was well laid out and the furniture very comfortable. We really enjoyed theFinnish pancakes with berries and whio cream. Taina and Mike were great hosts. Thank you so much for the ease in accessing your site . The tv channels and the alexa pod were bonus features. When we are in Thunder Baynext time, we will check to see if we can rent your VRBO apartment again.

This was our third time staying at one of Mike and Tania’s property. Another wonderful stay! Beautiful suite. Green space available for our dogs and all the amenities we could ever want. Mike and Taina truly aim to please and they definitely do!!!

Comfortable Place to Connect

We came from a two day drive away and decided to stay here because it looked like a welcoming and comfortable to connect with our eldest before sending him off to Lakehead University for the first time. And it was! Our boys were so excited about the yummy chips Taina and Mike had left and we were delighted to have breakfast ready for us to make so we could spend time connecting over a nice leisurely brunch. It was a perfect location to grab last minute things for our eldest and it was quiet so we could sleep well before and after the big move! Thank you Taina and Mike! We will definitely be back when we are visiting 🙏❤️
