Si la isla de Fripp es su destino, esta es la casa en la que querrá quedarse. Está convenientemente ubicado a un corto paseo del océano y del club de playa, y está a segundos del pantano. Family Beach Week

Conveniently located to island center and beach access. Wonderful great room and kitchen. The two main level bedrooms/bathrooms and upstairs master suite were all good. There is a basement bedroom with four twin beds that was not particularly good for sleeping. We really appreciated the use of the golf cart and amenity cards. The main drag, while busy, was not noisy inside the house. Would stay here again.

Great place to stay. beautiful house to use as a home base and to come home for some family time with enough space for quiet when you need to get away. The owners were very helpful. I will look to stay here again.

This was a nice house with a great location. Well stocked kitchen and nice amenities. The only reason we didn’t give a 5 star is the basement. We read the reviews about the musty basement and didn’t think our teenage boys would care. But there were also spiders and they opted to sleep upstairs. It’s unfortunate that this space isn’t really useable as a 4th bedroom.

Fantastic location!

We loved being in the heart of it all. Beautiful view, great sunsets, and wonderful for the teens to go back and forth from. The golf cart is in great shape and we were thankful to have it. This rental house is a fantastic value. I miss drinking my coffee on the front porch! Lots of TVs, big frig and double ovens are a big bonus!

Great location on the island. The house had everything we needed for a great week. Lower level is a bit rustic but perfect for boys. Host was super responsive when there was a minor issue with a bathroom sink. All in all another 5 star week at Fripp Island - we hope to make it back soon.

Terrific Vacation Home on Fripp Island!

This home has it all -- great location, lots of room, and extremely well-equipped.The golf cart was an added bonus. This is the perfect family home -- the den with TV was great for the kids while the adults could gather in the very spacious living / kitchen / dining area with huge windows and what must be a 20-foot ceiling with a great view over the marsh. We visit Fripp every year and would certainly hope to stay here again.

Great family house

My family of 4 plus my brother in law’s family of 4, and my mom stayed in this house. It was a great size for all of us. Everything was very clean except the floor. The kitchen had a great supply of pots and pans and the washer and dryer were very nice. We felt the basement could have been better but it was nice to have the space. Owners were very responsive and helpful, even during our stay.

Modern, clean, close to everything and exactly as described

The house was very roomy and well-equipped/ stocked. The space was great for our size group, 10. Rooms were good size. Main gathering area was spacious and a wonderful space to accommodate us all. We cooked every meal - no bumping into each other. Sonos speakers were a hit. The location was perfect... just private enough, yet close to everything. Hosts were accessible and very easy/ pleasant to work with.

Beautiful property

We absolutely love Fripp Island and this was our second year visiting. Our group was my mom 73, myself and 4 teenagers. We had hoped the teenagers would take advantage of the basement, but there was black mold on the ceiling and even teenage boys didn’t want to sleep there, so we all slept upstairs. Overall the property is absolutely gorgeous with close proximity to everything. It had everything you could hope for in a rental, just don’t be surprised if the downstairs beds aren’t used.

Not as advertised

When we arrived at 700 Pompano we were very disappointed to find that the basement bathroom was actually an outdoor shower with an opening under the wall to the outside. The basement bunk room was room that we planned to use for my teenage nieces, but it adjoined the area where there was this outdoor shower and my nieces didn’t feel comfortable staying there. The whole basement smelled very strongly of mold. This was not made clear in the description of the property.

Fantastic Vacation!

The house was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The host was responsive and reached out close to the checking date to confirm everything. There is beach access but it is a little of a hike from the entrance to the beach. However, that being said when you get to the beach it is basically your own private location. Absolutely beautiful! My only critique is the fourth bedroom was in the basement and it was very musty. The other three rooms were amazing. I would definitely recommend this house.

Great Location

This house is conveniently located mid-island and across from the marshes. It’s large but a little chopped up. Everyone kept getting turned around. We enjoyed the large windows overlooking the marsh and the wrap around small porch. Unfortunately, the house was very dirty. Our feet were black after walking barefoot in it. Baseboards were coated with dust, and the basement was musty and moldy. Some of the sheets on the bed were dirty! There were a few rotten boards in the floor of the porch. The silverware was corroded and some of the dishes we had to wash before using. Overall, this house was a big disappointment, and we wouldn’t stay here again.

More than a great view

This is one of the best houses on Fripp for the price range. The house is clean and modern appliances. The furniture is very nice and the house layout is very comfortable. The downstairs bedroom, game room, and shower is a little rustic and a great place for kids. The master bedroom is fantastic with a sitting area in case you have to do some work on your vacation.
