Close to beach access

Comfortable beach home near ocean boardwalk 10 and 11. Home sleeps eight with four bedrooms, two baths. Large open floor plan for kitchen with new oven, stove and refrigerator/freezer, counter bar, dining area for eight, and living area. There is an enormous screened in porch with additional dining area for eight, sun deck and large cement patio under the house, perfect place for the kids to play on a rainy day. There is an outdoor gas grill, beach chairs, extra freezer in the lower level, Keurig Coffee maker, well furnished kitchen, and a baby crib available.
Amenity cards are available that allow guests to have full use of the Club golf courses, tennis, pools, restaurants and the use of the gym workout equipment.
Historic Beaufort has a lot to offer and Charleston, Savannah and Hilton Head are just a short trip away.

The space the house offered was great. Gave plenty of room for the kids to play. The location was well was able to easily access the entire island without difficulty. The screen in porch is amazing. Large and spacious very relaxing.However, this house could use a thorough deep clean. As long as you didn’t look too deep the surface appears clean. There was old food under the couch cushions, mildew under the sinks, mildew in the bathtub. Walking around, barefoot on the carpet resorted in very, very dirty feet.

Great location. Fun for all.

The location was close to everything. Definitely should get a golf cart. It helps you explore the island. Large living room was great for the family. Lots of board games.

Weather was great for our stay. House was clean and comfortable. Close to beach and found as advertised. Had a great time. Owner was responsive to questions and provided timely information.

We love Fripp, but had some hiccups

This is our second time coming to Fripp and our first time staying at this home. The home's description online said it came with a crib which was critical for us. I messaged the host a week beforehand to confirm the crib was there - it wasn't. So we had to bring our own. Not a huge deal but still a bit frustrating. Upon initial check in at the guard gate, we had a minor heart attack because our names weren't on the list. After some back and forth with the guard, we realized our last name had been bungled. All of our communication with the host had been in writing so I'm not sure how that happened. Most importantly, we booked the home for its proximity to the beach access. We have a young baby so I wanted to stay somewhere where we could easily go back and forth between the home and the beach. It was a huge disappointment to discover that the beach access near the house was closed. I messaged the host and they said it happened after the storm a week prior, but it was so incredibly overgrown it's hard to believe it had only been closed for a week. Overall, we still had a nice time at the house. The back porch is wonderful. But if you're looking for a home with beach access at the end of its street like I was, I would confirm with the resort or one of the local Facebook groups whether it's open before you book.

Love staying at this lovely home! Great location and set up for our family. We love the open space for living room/kitchen area. We enjoy using the amenity passes for kid activities and dining. The beaches are amazingly beautiful and we love seeing all the wonderful nature on Fripp! We create wonderful family memories every time we come!

Great Beach House

This was a great beach house! The kitchen had everything we needed, and included both a K-cup brewer & drip coffee pot. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean.

Great communication

Leading up the the trip, I had several questions about parking/amenities/whatever else and the owner was very responsive and helpful. The house was exactly as listed and was in a great location. We rented golf carts for the weekend but we probably didn’t need to because we were walking distance to the main pool/beach area

Can’t wait to come back!

We’ve been coming to Fripp for almost 10 years. We used to stay in a Davis Love Cottage but outgrew it last year. We found 617 Dolphin during our visit in 2023 and we could not be happier with this hidden treasure. So. Much. Room!!!! The back porch is a dream. Bill was as helpful as ever with my questions. And we have already made arrangements for next year before even leaving. Can’t wait to come back next year!!

Great Place!

My family and I have stayed here 2 years in a row now and the place is perfect for us! So close to the beach and yet tucked away in peace. The house is cozy and the perfect size for us.

Great visit to Fripp!

Nice, clean property. House could use some updating. Also, washer/dryer are located in lower level of house which wasn’t in online description (I don’t think). First world problem, I know. Glad we had them… We loved screened in porch and “watched” as remnants of Hurricane Idalia went through. Also, water spigot in kitchen could use tightening. Bill (property mgr) was great to answer questions

Loved the screened in porch! I think a coded lock would work better but no issues during our stay. It said to start a load of laundry in the washer and dryer but I never could find the washer and dryer so the directions may need updating.

Family Vacation

This property is as describe in the VRBO listing. The owner is very easy to communicate with and information was given when questions were ask. We even reported that the next visitor would need more propane for the gas grill for the following week and it was replaced the next day in case we decided to use it again. The back porch is wonderful and adds a second living room space.

Spacious and comfortable@

This home was clean and spacious! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The screened in back porch was so nice and big enough to enjoy meals or just sit and talk. Our host was quick to respond to any questions.
