Great location, cute and modern apart

The apartment was in a great location. It was quaint and perfect for 3 adults. It was very up-to-date and our host was fantastic. Very accommodating and great communication.

Perfect location. It has everything you need for a vacation or medium stay. The building is right in the middle of everything within walking distance to all tourist places, excellent restaurants, etc. the only thing I would encourage is to have better firmer pillows. The pillows were poor, and just one per person.

Estuvimos una semana en este apartamento cómodo, limpio y céntrico. Ideal para para visitas a pié y paseos por los lugares más turísticos de Budapest. Dominique muy atento nos dio buenos consejos y nos ayudó mucho con los Transfer Budapest-Aeropuerto.

Location, location location

On our recent stay in Budapest we were fortunate to have stayed here. The location was everything. 2 blocks from a main metro, tram and bus stop. Even the airport bus stopped there. I the heart of the Jewish Quarter, there were plenty of sights, restaurants and shops. We ate at 7 different restaurants and never had to walk more than 150 metres. The apartment had nearly everything we needed. It could have been a little cleaner (we were constantly picking up long hairs off the floor). A broom and dust pan might have helped. Also some tourist literature, transit maps or restaurant recommendations would have been nice. The person who was there to greet us seemed more concerned on collecting the “tourist tax” and getting out of there than helping us get settled. Not speaking any English didn’t help. Overall we were happy with our stay and would recommend it to others.

Perfect Apartment in Perfect Location

Walking into the Courtyard was a bit daunting. It is in the process of a revitalization and gave me a moment’s pause. Once we entered the apartment all of that changed. It is immaculate with big windows and a new kitchen and bathroom. I would stay there again in a heart beat. Close to everywhere we wanted to be.

Great location and very clean place

Nearby the Budapest eye and the attractions are within walking distance. We found the cheap parking near the west end mall. Good with small kids.

Wir hatten ein sehr gute Zeit

Die Wohnung ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und ist ausgesprochen geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Bilder geben ein gutes Bild. Wir hatten wirklich alles was wir brauchten. :-) Wir bewohnten das Appartement zu viert und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Allerdings verfügte sie über keine Spülmaschine (was uns wiederum nicht störte). Ein wirklicher Pluspunkt für uns war die Klimaanlage. Diese hat uns bei einer Aussentemperatur von 40 Grad wirklich gute Dienste geleistet. Die Wohnung hat eine superzentrale Lage. Sie liegt unweit eines Hauptverkehrsknotenpunktes (3 Metrolinien, Flughafenbusse und Busstopps sind innerhalb 3-4 Minuten erreichbar). Supermarkt (ca. 3 Min), ein schöner Park, die Fußgängerzone (ca. 5 Min) und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten waren fußläufig gut erreichbar. In der Strasse selbst gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants und eine wirklich schöne Passage mit vielen Cafés, Restaurants und Bars in welcher am Sonntag noch ein wunderschöner Markt (auch mit Kunsthandwerk) stattfindet. Aufgrund der Innenhoflage der Wohnung ist das Appartement sehr ruhig gelegen. Wir haben uns wirklich super wohl gefühlt. Sollten wir diese wunderschöne Stadt erneut bereisen, werden wir gerne wiederkommen.

A Good News/Bad News Experience

First the good news: The location is excellent and the room is clean. The kitchen has a microwave, stove, oven, etc so if you choose to cook you have all of the necessities. The TV is very good and you will have access to many English speaking stations. The sofa is very comfortable (see the bad news info, below). At this point you might be thinking what could possibly be the “Bad News”. See below. When we arrived at the property we used WhatsApp to call the owner. No reply. We also used the entrance code to see if the checkin person was in the room. Again, no reply. After about 30 minutes the checkin person came down to the gate. Apparently we were to enter the complex and knock on the door. The instruction is not clear in the information material provided by the owner. Once the checkin person came to great us we entered the room. Unfortunately, the individual does not speak English and thus we could not understand and portion of her information. When you enter the room you will see a small second level with bedding. The height of this section is about 4 feet high. We assumed that this was the sleeping area. Not good! We made adjustments to this issue by bringing the bedding from the second level to the main floor and used the sofa as our second sleeper. This modification was adequate. After our visit we contacted the owner to suggest that he install a sofa sleeper on the main level. To our shock, he indicated that the sofa was a sofa sleeper. Unfortunately we had no idea that this existed. Another issue was the drain in the shower did not function effectively. It would take several hours for the water to drain. This would not be a significant issue if only one individual was showering. However, we are a married couple and thus it was a challenge for both of us to shower and not have a overflow problem. We contacted the owner to relate this issue and he intimated that we might have caused the problem! The problem was fixed just before our departure day. Enough said! If you are coming from the Budapest Airport, there is a express bus (the second and last stop) that will bring you within 1/4 mile of the apartment. At the current exchange rate the cost is about $3.25, per person.

Very nice house in center of Budapest

Stefano, Italy, 57 y.o.. I spent some beautiful days in Budapest thanks to the city but expecially thanks to the apartment I stayed. It coudn't be much closer to the center and nicer. It is in the center of Budapest and so near to the point where the 3 metro lines, and some tram and bus lines cross. The apartment is perfect for two people, very clean, and the host is very available. The washroom has a big shower, The two beds are in the loft so you have to climb up some stairs. I recommend.

Awesome little apartment with everything you need!

Very clean and new. Nice neighbors, pretty quite compared to be in a very busy street. Public transportation just a few steps away. Food, restaurants, change office, bank and grocery store around the corner. I was there with my 9 year old daughter and we loved it!

Lovely Cozy Best Location Loved Our Stay

We arrived very early to Budapest and The owner allowed us to drop our luggage off to the apartment when the maid arrived. We appreciated that very much. The apartment is inside a gated complex and the code was easy to remember. The apartment pics on the site were accurate, although it seemed a bit smaller upon arrival. But, the place was Perfect! Super Clean - adorable and very cozy. TV, washer dryer, iron and board, hairdryer, Air Conditioning, wifi, fully equipped kitchen with coffee brewer. Very comfortable lounge area (we call livingroom) . The bathroom was LUX with a shower built for TWO or three or Four ! Great water pressure, nice towels. We did drink the tap water -no problem. I was worried about the loft bedroom, but was pleasantly surprised as you just have to crouch a bit, It was all forgotten when we jumped into the Very comfy beds with nice bedding. We slept like babies, and you are able to completely Black out the apartment or have the sunrise in the morning. The place was so secure.. Like Fort Knox really..LOL We felt very safe in the apartment and even on the streets of Budapest until the wee hours. 1 Block from a great open mall Market with tons of restaurants, easy walk to the Danube. We walked to Hero square and the baths one morning. The location was stellar, we were impressed how lucky we were to be in this location . We were lucky enough to arrive for Kings Day- and an amazing fireworks display on the Danube along with a street Fair, so much fun! We are Canadian's from Alberta Age 61 and 53 and Highly recommend this apartment. Also our deposit was refunded before we got home to Canada. Thanks so much to the Owners who were helpful with advice upon arrival. Great Stay-Great Beds-Great Location. Super Clean

Best location, excellent apartment

Apartment was very clean and there was everything you could need (ac, washing/drying, coffeemaker, wifi etc.). Location is great! Just a 3min walk to the Deak ter-metrostation, 10--15min walk to the Danube, shops and food in 2min walk. Definitely could recommend this.

Sehr schönes und sauberes Apartment. Voll ausgestattet mit Klimaanlage und perfekte Lage!

Die Lage direkte im Zentrum des abendlebens mit Bars und essensgelegenheiten überzeugt. Trotzdem ruhiges Haus und alles zu fuss erreichbar. Bis zur donau nur 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Wir waren begeistert.

Top Lage super Apartment

Top Lage im Zentrum. Alles zu Fuß zu erreichen und Preis / Leistung ist TOP. Jederzeit wieder. Bessere Lage gibt es kaum. Kleines feines und gut durchdachtes Appartement wo es an nix fehlt. Wir hatten einen super Osterurlaub.
