House was a little outdated, but has plenty of amenities, we had to deal with the A/C on a daily basis as the thermostat would reset daily, had some issues with a bee's nest in the home first half of the week. Location was good area was good

A great get away...

Property is dated on the interior, but very clean and comfortable. The location of the house on the water is perfect--great area to swim, yet also easy access to larger water channels. A wonderful place to get away to.

I appreciate the review. The house is 30 years old and we have made updates since we purchased it in 2006. Most recently we remodeled the kitchen in 2017 and while the bathrooms still have the original sinks and tubs, last year we replaced all the toilets and this spring we replaced the faucets in 3 of the 4. This year we replaced some of the furniture with leather sofas and love seat. We hope to replace some of the vanities and sinks at before summer 2021.

This Norris Lake vacation home is amazing! The layout of the home and location on the lake was perfect. The extra full size refrigerator was super helpful. We will be back!

The house was spacious and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook for our group. Plenty of seating inside and out and the bedrooms were all very spacious. A couple of the beds were a little worn (eg, the downstairs bed has deep body impressions) but overall very comfortable. The owner is very friendly and extremely responsive. She mailed a physical packet of information well ahead of our arrival laying out all expectations, such as the need for us to bring all of own bath towels. We will very likely stay here again.

We always stay in Deerfield and this is a great location and cove to swim in. However we did have several cleanliness issues upon arrival and when addressed I received “sorry, thank you for letting me know”.

This guest was very friendly and we communicated very well before his group arrived. Our communication after he arrived was the same and the cleanliness issues were discussed. I didn't get the impression from our texts that he wanted me to send the cleaning person back but I definitely should have offered and would have been happy to have her return. She did miss a couple of items as this guest had requested an early check-in and she was rushing. When she cleaned after this guest checked out all the items were corrected.

Family Vacation

We had an amazing week at this house with family. The house was clean, plenty of room for everyone. Lots of steps but well worth it, the cove was great for swimming. A handrail from the driveway doen to the house and down to the lake would be nice but other than that wouldn't change anything. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved ever minute of our vacation at The Gross's Lake home . Everything was perfect and we cannot wait to return soon . Toni went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. W e really honestly dud not want to leave . LOL

Great House for last minute holiday weekend vacation

We loved the house, it was perfect for our extended family. Toni was great to work with and always easy to communicate with. She is a top-notch host!!! We booked this last minute for an extended family lake trip and had a great time. Well-stocked kitchen(s), plenty of bathrooms, and everything was neat and clean, I would recommend this home. The steps were challenging for my 77-year-old mom, but that's almost everywhere on Norris Lake! We hope to stay here again!

What a beautiful getaway

This house was stunning. A little dated on the inside but the view and lake side dock was stunning. We docked two boats and had plenty of room to swim right off the dock. The porches made for a great sitting area in the morning and evening. Check in was seamless and the directions were accurate. There are three marinas within 10 minutes by boat. One thing we missed was we needed to provided a propane tank for the grill. The store right near the front gate has them. We are already planning our stay for next year

Our Family Time

This home is beautiful. Plenty of beds for a large group. Kitchen well-stocked with dishes, silverware & all things needed. If you are older or cannot make stairs, this is not the place for you. Otherwise, it's a good place for a vacation. Be aware---the roads out there are quite curvy, you will want to arrive when it's light, not dark. I counted 90 curves from LaFallotte to the Gatehouse, + about 35 more to the house. :-)

We had a great time

The weather this Memorial Day weekend was less than ideal. Friday was nice, mid 70s, Saturday the high was about 70 with heavy clouds all day. High on Sunday was 60, we didn’t boat that day. We boated a few hours on Monday, despite the temperatures not getting above 62. We still had a great time. The house is large and well laid out. We would certainly rent it again. The owner was very responsive and provided extensive information on the house. Be sure to read it all. Like pretty much all Norris Lake properties this has a steep decent to the dock. But they have both concrete steps as well as a walkway to get you there. You are a short boat ride to 4 restaurants and a little longer ride to 3 more. This is a great location on the lake.

Great place for family vacation

We loved our stay here. The views were beautiful. The home was setup nicely, we had 3 adult couples that each could have their own bedroom with attached bath! That left an additional 2 bedrooms and bath for the kids, it was perfect! We would definitely stay here again!

Nice home....super owner!

We had a great week at this home! The house layout was perfect. Yes, the decor was a bit dated and some things need attention, but everything worked. Who is indoors a lot anyhow when you are at the lake??? Toni is wonderful host! Great at communicating and very nice!!! Check out this rental!!!! :)

Great Family Vacation

Such a beautiful spot. The house was perfect for our group. Very clean and having our own dock was perfect. We rented a boat for a few days and we were able to drive it “home” to the dock! Very easy to communicate with owners. They went above and beyond to send us information before our stay. Would definitely stay again!!
