Perfect Getaway!

Lovely RV/Cabin haven to relax, unwind, and enjoy yourself! The owner’s are wonderful and so personable and lives on site in case you need something!!! Our cabin was the perfect size and the bed was comfy!! We will be back!!

Getaway weekend perfection!

This is our second time at RV Haven and we are so happy we came back. Planned this get away back in May/June shortly after we stayed the first time and this time we enjoyed it even more because we ventured out on kayak rides in the morning enjoying the warm weather! Hot temperatures made midday dips in the water an absolute must, and the water was just perfect! The Rose Cabin was GREAT! Two separate rooms - living/dining/kitchen area and master bedroom with king sized bed and full bathroom with a walk-in shower. A/C worked great and there were fans in every room. They just replaced the grill outside which was fantastic. Crock pot, electric griddle, coffee maker, plates, cutlery, etc. available to use. TV/DVR with a pretty good dvd library to rent. Indoor towels, dish rag, bedding provided. Bring your own pillow if you have a hard time adjusting to others. I forgot mine and struggled a bit the three nights we stayed there. Property is dog friendly and all the people are very nice and courteous. Jeff is fantastic, on site abs responsive. Will now definitely be coming back!

Weekend getaway fishing trip

We had a great time staying here and Jeff was great! It was nice and quiet, great views, just the place to stay to relax. The cabin was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable, could not have asked for more. We will definitely be back.

Cabin on Buchanan

Nice basic cabin. AC worked well but wish it was turned on before we arrived. My wife said the mirror in the bathroom was too high and she is glad we brought paper towels. Jeff was very nice and helpful

Definitely a good place to spend a weekend

I really enjoy staying. Cabin was nice and clean , nice quite neighborhood everyone was friendly. Owner always around to help if you need anything.

Quiet and peaceful getaway

This place was perfect for quick getaway! The property was very pristine. The pictures on the website are accurate! The cabins are cozy but perfect for a small family. They are very well kept. The beds, including the futon, were very comfortable. Jeff the owner lives on the property and makes sure the guests have what they need! The kayaks, free to the quests, were a huge contributor to us choosing this property. The cabin does not have a stove or oven, but they do provide a griddle.

Amazing weekend getaway!

The Rose Cabin had everything we needed for a quiet weekend getaway by the lake. The beach area by the lake was fun to hang out in lawn chairs. We loved the unlimited use of paddle boats and kayaks. Short drive (15 minutes) to inks lake park where we did some hiking. RV park was full of people but was still so quiet. Highly recommend!

Calm, quite and relaxing by the nature

The property and location was really good with lake at vicinity and boating decks nearby. My wife was ill so couldn’t enjoy much but was a nice experience to stay.

Perfect Getaway

It was the perfect relaxing getaway our family needed. Very family friendly and very relaxing! The cabin was well kept and we had plenty of room for my family. We will definitely be coming back.

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay

Short walk to lake to watch wildlife and nice grill outside for cooking outside over an unseasonably warm weekend. Also visited Longhorn Cavern State Park nearby. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway.

Relaxing Trip

This was a very relaxing trip at the lake. Very enjoyable we went there to unwind. The cabin was very clean and the grounds were well maintained. You can go there to fish, swim and there are boats and tubes the guests can use. I watched the sunrise from my front porch. Had a great time!

Sunflower Cabin

We needed a place for complete rest and relaxation. This little cabin on the Texas RV Haven was the perfect fit. Very clean, quiet and restful. Will go back again.

Nice quiet getaway near the lake.

We were looking for an affordable escape near the lake for some much needed relaxation and this was the perfect spot. Nice quiet, clean, and dog friendly. The Rose house was just your basics but very comfortable, especially the bed. Jeff was the perfect host. Not only was he respectful and friendly, he went over and above to make sure our experience was the best. Always available for anything we needed. We definitely look forward to returning 😊

Location Away from the city Lights

Its all about Location. 20min out of town, away from the traffic and the hub bub of the city. Stars were fantastic. Peace was superb, loudest thing were the birds. Free Kayaks for the us and the kids. Away from boat traffic. Beach to swim. Room was clean and everything you needed. Hot showers, fridge, sink, microwave, etc. Great place to base from and do Adventures throughout the Hill Country. Will do it again, and will do it during the next meteor shower.

Perfect getaway cabin

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Rose cabin. It was the perfect place for our little family of 4, with 2 small children. The location of the cabin is in such a great spot, and very close to the water. We can’t wait for our next trip to Texas Hills RV Haven!!
