Hermosa y exclusiva cabaña de lujo de 2 dormitorios y 1 baño. Está a poca distancia de Los Barriles. Amplio espacio habitable con mucha luz. Cocina totalmente equipada, patio privado con vistas al Mar de Cortés con zonas de comedor en la puerta y al aire libre. La unidad tiene parrilla. Piscina y huerto para uso de los huéspedes. We had such a wonderful stay at Jim‘s cottage! The Casita is spacious, beautifully decorated, and has everything you could possibly need. It’s peaceful and quiet – perfect for relaxing – and the pool is an added bonus. Jim is a great host, friendly, and helpful if you have any questions. I truly didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back again

AWESOME!

Our stay was fantastic, the Casita was clean. The beds and couches were extremely comfortable. The pool was very nice with sitting areas adjacent, with an excellent view of the Sea of Cortes! I would definitely stay here again.

Spectacular experience

Jim’s cottage was exactly as advertised and then some. There are so many extras that elevated our stay; from little things like coffee and creamer to shampoo and conditioner to having everything clearly explained and even labelled to eliminate any possible confusion. Jim and his wonderful fur baby Jackson are excellent hosts with answers and recommendations any time we asked. He also supplied us with beach gear and went out of his way to make us feel more than welcomed to Los Barriles. All this said, we did not feel uncomfortable at any time having the host on site. There was another couple in residence in the other cottage and we never felt like our privacy was being invaded. I would return again in a heartbeat.

Great stay in Los Barriles

Accommodations were very comfortable and well appointed. The location was very quiet and easy to get to restaurants, beach and shopping. Jim was great to communicate with and happy to help if needed.

Great stay

Amazing house, perfect location only downside would be the pool was small for a shared property. We weren’t fully able to enjoy the house and pool being that we are adults and we were sharing it with a family and children. It would be a perfect house to rent for a big family vacation.

A modern retreat with a fantastic view!

First of all, Jim was an amazing host! He was welcoming, helpful, and extremely accommodating. Communicating with Jim was easy and he even provided us with beach chairs/umbrellas during our stay. Secondly, the property was incredible - spotless and spacious, with all of the amenities of home. We were pleasantly surprised with the strong wifi, as well as the A/C and appliances. Everything was considered for a modern stay. Lastly, the quiet, relaxing outdoor space was a welcome retreat from the loud, busy streets of Los Barriles. My husband and our friends spent several days here just relaxing by the pool. And wow, what a view! Simply stunning sunrises overlooking the beach. It was a little bit of a walk (10 min.) from the main street, but that provided us with a spectacular view and also some peace and quiet away from the noise of the main road. We rented an ATV for the week to explore the area (it's what everyone does) and Jim provided us with a parking spot so that all worked out perfectly. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this vacation home for its modern amenities, relaxing outdoor space and outstanding customer service. Thanks Jim! We hope to see you again very soon.

Beautiful, relaxing property

Really enjoyed our stay at Jim’s Cottages. Our host made us feel welcome and helped us when needed. The units have a lovely view of the ocean & we were able to catch some spectacular sunrises from the window. The cottages are fairly new , clean and well equipped. All these attributes made our stay a memorable one.

Jim's Cottage checked all the boxes

The property is lovely and well maintained. It has a view of the sea and a nice pool and outdoor shaded sitting area. Our unit was well designed, open, and with plenty of natural light. The kitchen had more equipment than most VRBOs, as well as some cooking supplies. Jim was there during our stay. He constantly asked if there was anything we needed, or if we had any issues with our unit. It was great to have the owner on site, as he is so helpful and pleasant. The property is a short walk to the main drag and the beach. Jim's Cottage exceeded our expectations in many ways! We would rent it again.

Perfect base camp to explore Los barriles. Watch Beautiful sunrises right from home, walking distance or quad ride to beach, restaurants, shops. Kitchen well setup. Shower was lovely after swimming.

Sunrise Retreat at Jim's Cottages

Jim's Cottages was an exceptional place to stay in Los Barriles. The cottages were well equipped with all of the essentials in the kitchen and bathroom. The linens, bedding and beds were comfortable and high quality. The cottages also displayed beautiful and bright artwork. The patio and pool was a lovely place to gather and enjoy the sun. It was a soothing and relaxing oasis with colorful flowers and butterflies. Jim was very accommodating and he met all of our needs.

Beautiful house and loco

The house was beautiful. We all had a wonderful time relaxing by the pool, walking down to the restaurants and beach near by, and taking day trips to hikes. Would definitely stay again.

Nice clean 2 bedroom loft

The property is very clean and newly constructed. Multiple gates on the property for security, but Los Barilles is safe and awesome anyways!

Amazing getaway

We chose Los Barriles for our beach getaway with the understanding that it was not crowded, easy to social distance, and we generally do not like crowds and big resorts. Kim's place was PERFECT for us - the unit we stayed in was super clean, the pool was literally 5 steps away from our front door, and we had all the privacy to relax - there is another unit onsite but I'm not even sure if there was anyone there. Kim & Carole were very quick to respond to our questions and was happy to accommodate us. It was also an easy walk to the restaurants and supermarkets, but still far enough away from the main street. Overall, we had a beautiful time and would recommend this town & Kim's place to everyone who'd hear it!

Peace and quiet in Los Barriles

Everything in this cottage has been well planned and organized. Every amenity was included, and the pool/patio area is perfection. If you love Los Barriles, this is the perfect place to stay.

I caught the travel bug from my dad when I was in 7th grade. He always liked to connect with locals on our trips because he knew it was the best way to experience a new place.

Whether it was a friend of a friend or some random local we met, dad would offer to take them to dinner to learn more about their life and the place they lived. On some of these occasions, our new friends would even insist that we check out of our hotel and stay with them. By the end of the trip, we had new friends, great memories and a better understanding of the local culture than any guided tour could provide.

I like that VRBO has that same ability to connect people from different parts of the world.

The property is a perfect location: quick walk to beach & main street, but quiet and breezy with excellent views of the Sea of Cortez and surrounding mountains. Renting a car is not a necessity.

The rare combination of heated pool, full kitchen, sea & mountain views, 10 minute walk to beach and 5 minute walk to town...all at well below comparable hotel/rental home prices.
