This was our second time staying in Leo’s place. Bed is comfy, ac is cold, wifi is fast, kitchen has a good selection of pots,pans, plates, utensils and a ninja blender. View is amazing. Looking forward to our next trip.

Great option for a few days in Barriles. Bed was very comfortable and AC was wonderful. Internet had just updated so it was spotty but we didn’t need it much anyway. Just was responsive as was the property manager.

Love Los Barrieles

Great location. Close to town and the beach. It’s nice to have the hotel property right next door with restaurants, etc. The property is small but, quaint. The kitchen is not ideal for cooking as it’s very dark. The air conditioning was not the coolest, though that’s a building issue, others we met had the same issue.

Great little condo

Most everything you will need in a great little condo on the beach. Host and property manager responded promptly when we had questions. We enjoyed the stay and the location but for a few minor inconveniences. Would be good to include dish soap. The pool was taken over with toys and floaters from another large family. We could have purchased a day pass for the hotel next door but decided to take beach adventures to get away from the loud family that thought both pools were their own personal areas. The location is perfect for enjoying downtown and beach. We found out too late that the PM had an ATV he could have rented but we did not get is contact info until after we arrived. We would recommend this place but read the other reviews about no laundry, no hot tub and being near a restaurant. That was not a deal breaker but it you should know there is no laundry because if you stay longer than a few days it would be very inconvenient not to wash your towels and wet suits.

Condo was clean and had a great view. Love siting out on the balcony having coffee watching the sun rise.Could of used a washer and dryerBut overall nice place that we’re planing on staying again

Great Location

Good spot in proximity to the town but the unit sits directly next to the restaurant and the noise at night is very disruptive. Also, there was no drinking water in the unit when we arrived and that used to be a given in Mexico. On the plus side, this complex has a good breakfast restaurant and is very close to a world class Pickleball club. It was easy to have our four-by delivered to the building because the resort is well known

The listing stated there was a washer and dryer in the unit however when we contacted the owner he informed us we needed to pay the cleaning staff to do our laundry, with no apology or explanation of why the listing was incorrect. The advertised hot tub was also not heated, there was an issue with the TV, and then there were very strong fumes in the unit which led us to request a refund on the remainder of our stay. The owner was incredibly rude, and he refused. We then put a claim in with VRBO and notified the owner that we vacated the property, at which point he threatened us with unfounded accusations of theft and damage. VRBO denied our claim stating: "After reviewing your claim, we regret to inform you that it has been declined. The property owner has provided proof that the washer and dryer at the property were operational during your stay. As we have thoroughly explained this matter to you and this decision is final. Any further replies to discuss and/or argue the reimbursement amount will be closed without reply." An interesting decision, considering the owner admitted via text that there was no washer or dryer available to us. Besides these issues, the view from the bed overlooks the bar, and the balcony is very small, so there are better rental options available in the building. Also be aware the pool is freezing, the pool bar was not open, and it is very windy in winter. If those things matter, you may want to go elsewhere.

Poor WiFi but great location

Beautiful property but Wi-Fi is poor to non existent. I guess when you are in paradise you shouldn’t need Wi-Fi but couldn’t stream anything. Enjoyed a little slice of paradise

Just what we needed

It started off a little rough as the room wasn’t ready for us after a long days travel. Leo responded quickly and referred us to the property manager Pedro who set us up on another unit for the first night, which we were happy with. The room had pretty much everything we needed and the beach chairs and umbrella were a great addition. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The wifi worked well and the view was amazing. We would stay again in Leos place.

Amazing as always. We always donate to the dental clinic with dental bags and kits. The north wind came early and we did not have a good fishing experience We were able to buy fish Stevie's home at Smokey's Their food is amazing and tweenys was also amazing We will be back in 2025

Owner needs to provide better service

It all started before we even left, trying to het access instructions upon arrival. Owner was to provide and after many requests, I was finally able to get codes and what was needed from VRBO agent. The condo manager was good. Unfortunately we arrived on a Sunday when everyone is off and we started with half electric going out, then the refrigerator stopped cooling, we had 2 beach towels and 4 shower towels for 5 night stay for two people. Supplies in the condo is sparse so we did some grocery shopping which included trash bags. The bed slanted to the inside from the right and wasn't very comfortable. But we made the best of it. The Bayview Bar staff was amazing and tried helping us On Sunday. I love the condos, but would choose a different unit and owner to stay with. We love Los Barriles and had a great time despite starting off with a struggle. Fishing was amazing and cant wait to go back again!

Did not Disappoint

The property was clean, organized and comfortable. The patio overlooked the ocean and the views were great. Pedro the peoperty manager took care of any needs we had, and was very polite. We will definitely be returning.

Been going to Los Barriles for 30 years and will return again shortly. Villa de Cortez is safe, clean, beautiful beaches and amazing fishing. Would recommend to anyone!
