Located in the heart of historic downtown Midway, this private, tucked away home has been fully renovated. It features two bedrooms with king sized beds, two spa-like bathrooms, a full sized kitchen, quaint dining room, and living room. There is a private deck to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine or bourbon in the evening. This home is just a walk around the corner from downtown’s shops and award winning restaurants. Within minutes from Keeneland, the Kentucky Horse Park, Versailles, Frankfort, and Lexington. This makes it ideal to tour the bourbon trail as well. An added bonus is an electric charging station in the parking lot!

Perfect place for two couples, with luxurious king size beds. Immaculate and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The hosts were easy to reach and so welcoming. Midway is our favorite place to stay in Kentucky with shops and restaurants just steps away. Definitely our best visit yet.

We loved Bit & Bourbon! Brian and Tammy are great hosts. Our family of four had everything we need: comfortable king beds, beautiful kitchen with breakfast nook, well-appointed bathrooms, and a cozy living room with a view of town and an electric fireplace. Just around the corner from Midway’s shops and restaurants, a park within walking distance, right in the middle of horse country. We highly recommend!

This place is very cute with some wonderful touches! You won’t find better hosts. The fresh eggs in the fridge and fresh baked cookies were delicious. Wish we could have spent more time exploring the area but just didn’t have the time. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to friends and family!

Perfect base for Kentucky fun

2 couples roaming Kentucky, enjoying the beauty and the bourbon. Bit & Bourbon was exactly as advertised and the location was excellent. Tammy was very responsive. Overall great stay. Would highly recommend and hope to return!

Keeneland Opening Weekend

Time in the Bluegrass doing all the Bluegrass things. Bourbon and horses! A perfect location to experience it all, right in the middle of the most charming small town in America. Cozy little apartment with all the modern amenities.

Perfect in every way

There’s a reason they’re Premier Hosts. Reservation was easy and all inquiries were responded to promptly. Check in could not have been easier. The location of this townhome is perfect for enjoying Horse Country, Bourbon Distilleries and restaurants. The interior was spotless, perfectly decorated and we were greeted with local treats. For 1-2 couples this is perfect. We had the best time and plan to return. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 💕

Great Getaway!

It is clear why these are super hosts! Their thoughtfulness was apparent in every detail making for a delightful stay in a charming location. One note, some couples may want to know that both bedrooms and one full bath are upstairs while the other full bath is downstairs just off of the kitchen. It may be awkward for some. While I’m sure the stairs are to code, they may be difficult for some.

College visits

This property was just what our family needed. After an long hot stressful day of moving our child into college, we were thrilled to come to a charming, clean, and peaceful property. We’ve stayed in maybe a dozen Vrbos over the years and this property ranks at the top. It is very clean and the well maintained. It has quality appliances and furnishings. The kitchen equipment and utensils were in wonderful condition and actually matched. I’ve been to some places were I think the owners bought their pots and pans at a local garage sale and have 15 pizza cutters and no spatulas. The owners also provide little extras that stood out to me. Gift basket with local goodies, fresh eggs, cell phone chargers by the bed, fresh flowers, and even soft toilet paper! They are easily accessible and communicate well prior to the stay. While we were down we looked at college campuses for our youngest. If she decides on a college around Lexington, this property will definable our go to place to stay when visiting. I didn’t even mention Midway is a charming town with some awesome dining options. We will definitely staying here again.

Great Home Base for Bourbon Tours

We had two couples that came up from Georgia for the Kentucky Georgia game and to do some Bourbon tours. This place was the perfect location for all that we wanted to do. Midway is quaint with restaurants and shops as well. The hosts were very accomodating. Thanks for your hospitality.

Perfect stay!

This was the perfect rental for our trip. Midway was a quaint little town close enough to all the places we visited (horse farm tour, Keeneland and great restaurants). The unit was extremely clean, the bedrooms were good sized, the beds were very comfortable and Tammy has thought of everything you might need. The welcome basket with local goods was fabulous! Thank you for a great stay and we would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Place

This place was absolutely beautiful! Very modern and had all the amenities we needed. We loved everything in the “Welcome Basket” too! The owner was very helpful in finding places. Will definitely go back.

The best of Kentucky’s Finest in a great spot Midway

Bits & Bourbon is incredibly comfortable with touches of Kentucky! We had a trip with the advice of our hosts that included Keeneland Race Track prior to the Breeder’s Cup and to Buffalo Trace or pick up & covet our bourbon prize(s). Can’t say enough about the friendliness we were shown and the feeling of blue grass beneath our feet - thanks!!

Lovely Central Location

This property is right in the heart of bourbon country and made it so easy to go exploring. The accommodations were lovely and we felt right at home. Would definitely stay here again the next time we come back to Kentucky!

Wonderful location for a Kentucky getaway

We absolutely loved staying at Bit & Bourbon! It was the perfect size for two couples, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the extra touches that Tammy & Brian left for us and their recommendations for restaurants and must-sees were great! Fantastic place to stay!

We so enjoyed our stay at Bit and Bourbon. The home was extremely comfortable and updated. Tammy thought of everything and the little extra touches like the welcome basket and staples were most appreciated. The location was great as it was a nice quiet small town, but we were walking distance to main street with over half a dozen restaurants to choose from and the distilleries, wineries and breweries were all within 30 minutes of Midway. Great stay and can't wait to come back.

Bourbon Trail & Horse Country

This is an Outstanding property and location for those wishing to explore the Bourbon Trail and the beautiful horse farms in Kentucky. The property is perfect for 2 couples. The kitchen, living areas and bedrooms/bath are all 10's on a scale of 10. The town (Midway) is full of excellent restaurants and shops, all within a 3 minute walk from the property.
