Spring Vacation
We really enjoyed our stay. It was a nice getaway within a days drive from our home. The condo and amenities were perfect for our family. The host was easy to communicate with and had a quick response.

Great experience
A very nice stay with a good layout close to the beach. We had our 18, 13, and 9 year olds with us. One slept on the sofa bed. We drove to beach however you may also walk. Plenty to explore. Would stay again!

My family enjoyed our time in the rental and the only downside was not having enough toiletries for the length of days we stayed. Thankfully, there was a store nearby. We'd love to stay there again. The unit was very spacious!

My family of 5 stayed a whole week here. The pool was always busy but that's expected when trying to wear out kids! Close to the beach. Has a private pond for catch and release fishing which was helpful for getting rods ready for ocean fishing. Minor repairs probably needed for patio area but nothing that would ruin our stay! Will definitely stay again here!

We have stayed at Beach Club many times and this is our favorite condo. First floor, great condition, comfortable beds, very close to beach and restaurants and lots of open parking in back. The only drawback is heavy foot traffic in upstairs condo. Kind of noisy but not a deal breaker for us, and to be expected when you are on first floor. We will definitely stay again.

The condo was just pictured on line. Everything was clean and neat and everything we could have asked for in the kitchen was there. Only complaint, I listed six people but only received towels for four. Luckily I had plenty of beach towels which we had to use for beach and bathing.

Property is an apartment complex described as a condo. Wasn't great, wasn't bad. Needs updating and lights outside fixed. Seems to be the go to rental here. 2 barstools one needs padding badly because you are sitting on a metal bar! Roach problem needs to be taken care of as well.

Overall, a very nice condo for a family. It's very nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit and a full kitchen to make some meals at the condo. The location is nice too, close to the pool and fishing pond. Also, a very quick drive to the beach. You could walk but we prefered to drive since we have 3 kids and lots of things to carry. My only complaint is the beds, especially the two twins were not very comfortable.

Horrible Experience

I hope to never work with Padre Escapes again. We originally booked a 2b/2b condo in February 2021, only for Padre Escapes to CANCEL our reservation in June 2021 THREE WEEKS BEFORE OUR TRIP. Why did I have to sign a contract if they're allowed to cancel my vacation on a whim? They apologized for the "major inconvenience" and offered me totally incomparable alternative 2b/1b options. "We can provide a blowup mattress... if needed." Sleeping on a blowup mattress is not a vacation! Our flights our booked, my PTO is approved, and now my family doesn't have a place to stay. I had to anxiously do my own searching to find a 2b/2b condo that was miraculously still available for the dates we needed. Unfortunately, it was not in the same location as the 3 condos that the rest of our family had already reserved. A few days after we booked Costal Dreams, I went back and searched for our original condo. Interestingly, it was still available for rent. What's really going on here?Costal Dreams was ok. It was spacious and a good walking distance from the beach. Honestly, I was just relieved that I had found an alternative condo after Padre Escapes canceled our original reservation. In reality, the floor hadn't been mopped; our feet were black after walking barefoot for a few minutes. There were only 4 coffee cups in a condo that sleeps 6. The pots and pans weren't even functional because of the amount of old burnt food on the surface of them.Save yourself some headache and book with someone else.

We are sorry you feel this way as this was not our intentions. The owner of the unit removed the original unit from the rental pool and we had no control over it. I apologize about the cleaning issues; I don't see we were notified during your stay so we could have addressed them. Bad start great finish
Rating Details:
The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.

Both of our showers didn't drain water. One of our toilets was broken. That evening they fixed both of our showers and one of our toilets. But in the process out other toilet broke. That next morning early they fixed the other toilet. Great location. Fixed the problems as fast as they occurred. No one wants thoseProblems but they were fixed ins timely manor. Good service. And great location right next to beach

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

No peace. Apartment above had a family with 2 small kids who practiced rugby until 2 every morning. Hallways need some attention. Dirty and unattended for some time now. Water was shut off 30 min. before check out while trying to finish cleaning. Needed a plunger to drain kitchen sink. Had to remove trash from the disposal before use.

We apologize for the inconveniences you experienced. Fortunately the guests staying above this property change frequently so those noisy neighbors won't there next time. We will work with the HOA on the keeping the hallways clean and unfortunately the water shut-off was a city issue and out of our control. Thank you for your feedback.

Everything was clean and as described. This is a condo community. The beach is less than a min drive or about a 10 min walk.

Very disappointed with our stay!!

We had not been out for 4 months and we were very excited to get out. When I made reservations. I inquired about how they were handling the cleaning process due to COVID. I was assured that extra cleaning measures were being taken. Even the bedding was changed in between clients. That sold me. I was charged $110 for cleaning approved by the CDC. With that being said upon our arrival we open the door to our condo to chips , grape vines and hair balls on the floor. A pair of sunglasses underneath the bed. Red hand prints on the wall, a comforter covered in dried up red jello, dirty towels in the closet, dirty refrigerator and on and on. I called immediately and they did send someone to clean right away. We had to leave in order for them to clean. The cleaning lady’s did not wear gloves and used the same rag for everything. ( I’m worried for their own well being) We were told that it looked as though only the beds had been made but the rest of the place untouched. I was very very put out and disappointed by inaccurate advertisement. I was reimbursed the cleaning fee but was still very disappointed by the over all experience. Our condo lacks decorations. No carpets, pillows and on and On. Not cozy at ALL. I think it could use an extreme face lift.

Loved the condo. It was very nice and right across from the pool. Very disappointed the pool was closed as this is why we booked this particular one. Will be booking this next year at some point also. Was told this was a no pet facility but I did see people with pets. I wanted to bring our little dogs. Maybe those were the owners, but a no pet facility would mean that goes for the owners also.
