INTERIOR
Esta propiedad 2/2 bien actualizada tiene dos dormitorios principales, cada uno con su propia cama king size y baño privado. Salga de cualquiera de los dormitorios a la cocina, comedor y sala de estar bien distribuidos. La cocina está bien equipada con todo lo necesario para preparar el desayuno, el almuerzo y la cena. La cocina tiene una ventana de paso en el comedor. Desde las áreas de comedor y sala de estar, disfrutará de una vista despejada del agua. También hay un sofá cama tamaño queen en la sala de estar y dos camas plegables dobles para que huéspedes adicionales puedan dormir.
El interior tiene varias áreas para sentarse, así como un área de cubierta expansiva que incluye múltiples resbalones anchos para botes. Así que trae tu bote! Justo al lado del área de la cubierta hay una piscina compleja que solo comparten 6 unidades.

Few sightings of bugs. Home comfortable and great access to water. Boat slit with no place for trailer, not workable. Kids loved fishing off sea wall behind back door.

Water nice.

Overall area was ok. The kitchen, living area, bathrooms were nice. Never able to sleep well due to uncomfortable bed. Bathrooms had very low water pressure. It was extremely difficult to open and close patio door to outside. Walls were thin and we were able to hear everyone's conversations. Master bedroom had very dirty and sticky furniture. I was able to wash some stains away but the paint is obviously chipping away... No idea how to use the pool. It was connected to another resident.

Ruined Socks

Great location, that's about it. The floors are so dirty that I ruined several pairs of socks. My brother-in-law ruined several pairs of socks too. We called and Padre Escapes sent someone out. She swept the floors and mopped, bad thing is, the floors were still turning feet black. The floors need power washing. There is mold on the curtains. There is rust in the refridgerator, washing machine, and dryer. We understand it is at the beach, but when things are taken care of they tend not to rust. The ad talked about having two twin beds. Nope, two cots in a closet. When they say bring towels, they mean it. There were 4 bath towels, 4 washcloths, two bath mats, and two kitchen towels. We travel frequently to this area, so we bring ample towels and were prepared. There is one television, so if you want a tv in your room, bring it with you. I am 5'4. The cabinets in the kitchen where so tall, I couldn't reach the plates. In the bathroom, the vanity hit me chest high. The beds move with a small push, don't fall down. The seating in the living room is very limited. We had to bring in the chair from the bedroom for the four of us to sit comfortably. Don't come in wanting to put your feet up, there isn't anything to put them up on. The pool is nice. The fish were fun to look at. There is an alarm somewhere in the building that rung from 7:30 am to 8 am Monday through Friday. Saturday an Sunday it doesn't ring. If you want any family games or beach items, bring them with you.

A week in Corpus

We had a very nice time in this apartment, it was clean and nice and had everything that we needed. I would have liked to have a direct contact with someone, instead of everything being done on a automated way through the app and emails. Everything was very nice, i would return for sure.

Reviewer Comments: We have rented with Padre Escapes for almost 10 years and have always been impressed with the level of overall quality of locations, properties and cleanliness. However this property was outdated, not well kept, and not clean. There were lots of bugs and ant problems in both bathrooms. We were disappointed to find this after having such great success with Padre Escapes in the past.

A Decent Stay

Our stay overall was good. The deck out back was nice, with easy access to fishing. The pool was also nice and cold, even in 100+ degree heat! There was a decent number of towels, plenty of kitchen utensils, and the AC was nice and cold. It was close to the beach, and not far from major shopping and eating in Corpus Christi. There was one thing that took away from our trip. The sleeper sofa was broken. An automatic air up bed was brought for it, which made up for the sleeping area, but it did not fix the broken couch. It was pretty much unusable to sit on and very uncomfortable for watching the only TV in the unit. The air up bed took up a lot of the space in the living area making it difficult to move around. The sofa really should have been replaced with something we could at least sit on when maintenance was unable to fix it. There was also a smell in the unit when we arrived. Maintenance was supposed to come do an ozone treatment, but they did not show up at the time they were supposed to, and no one ever called to reschedule. It finally dissipated after a couple of days.

Not good

House was dirty. Cockroaches. Windows had black dirt build up in corners. Apartment block was very noisy with neighbors having parties that ended at 2am each night. Parking area is a mess. Everyone seems to park in whatever spot they feel like. One night there was no parking spot for our vehicle. Outside seating area needs an umbrella, deck was dirty and so was grill. Would not recommend this place.

Great Location

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our time here. The location is great. The first night was not great because the neighbors were pretty loud and smoking so that is all you could smell inside and on the back porch. The rest of the nights were fine though because they left. Our deck was empty except for two plastic chairs. From the pictures, I expected a few more chairs. The water pressure was great and we always had hot water. We liked the ice maker and fridge. The kids liked the pool and the beds were comfortable.

It was Okay

All went well upon arriving. The check in was super easy. However, the first night my brother was sleeping on bed and he felt something on his neck. Turns out it was a big cockroach! That was not a very pleasant first night. Please be advise that only two vehicles per condo are allowed. We were unaware and everyone drove separately since some could come earlier than others due to work so one vehicle had to park on Mont Pelee Rd which is a couple of minutes away. It wasn’t too bad though. One last thing the pull out sofa was not too comfortable the mattress on it is too thin. I would say i would stay here again but no cockroaches; maybe do more pest control. It was planned one month in advance and the whole process was smooth and pretty quick to get reserved. Pros: location, dishes, washing machine, quick response if need to call for anything Cons: cockroach, parking, sofa bed
