4th of July

Our favorite time of year to visit Detroit Lake. This is one of our favorite lakes and we always enjoy watching the fireworks over the lake. Thank you for a perfect place to stay right by the lake.

Fun on the 4th!

Had an amazing time at this gorgeous property!! It is very stylishly furnished and very well equipped! Perfect location… close walk to everything! Just minutes to town for a morning coffee run or the park/recreation center for events, marina out the back door. Couldn't be better! Property manager so easy to work with and very accommodating. We had the best time and will definitely be back! Thank you Tim!!

Not worth the money! It is horribly over priced and doesn't compare to other local, same price, rentals that are 3x the size.The hot water doesn't work so the shower is too cold to use. The pictures are deceiving. The walk is much longer to the lake. It is a casita above the garage. Attached to the owners house. The owners park really close to your walk way around the house to the back.The inside was very clean but the outside had cobwebs and was dirty. My kid liked the birds nests though.It was very hot inside when we got there. The hot plate doesn't boil water. There is a sleeper sofa that I didn't see in the listing The regular bed was really soft. View from the deck is great but not from inside.

My family of 4 traveled to Detroit lake to celebrate 4th of July. This place couldn’t have been more perfect for our stay! The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s bigger than expected super nice, everything was clean and with a beautiful view of the lake. They had a fire pit where the kids got to hangout and make s’mores. Access to the lake. It was perfect! The host Tim was super friendly, when we had any questions he was quick at responding. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

A wonderful stay! I loved the distribution of the apartment. The deck was great for morning coffee, hang out with friends and stargazing. Tim, the host, is very attentive and helpful. I would stay there again for sure!

Amazing house easy water access

This house was perfect for our family and it’s next door to the lakeside motel so if there’s a lot of people they can rent there and come hang out in the big yard with fire pit and plenty of seating! We were able to get a boat slip at Kane’s park our boat right below the house and have easy access and walk up for the kids! There was even a live concert going on at Kane’s so we got a free show while roasting S’mores we will for sure be back!

We had the most AMAZING time at this beautiful home!! The location and outdoor space can’t be beat! The house was clean & inviting, and provided everything we were looking for on our lake vacation! Can’t wait until next summer!!!

You’d be hard pressed for a better location

Sally and Tim offer a gorgeous home just a couple dozen yards away from the lake and marina. They were quick to communicate through the VRBO app regarding checkout processes. Peaceful, comfortable, fun and very well furnished. 100% will be back again if not this summer, then next for sure!

Perfect location and wonderful house!

Our stay was incredible! The house overlooks part of the lake & is right next to the marina. There is a short walk down to the dock and stores. The View from inside the house is great and very bright. The layout of the house is perfect and everything is in excellent shape and is very clean. The fenced yard is great for kids and the deck is perfect for relaxing on. The owners/managers are great to work with and very friendly. We look forward to future stays here as we look for places that fit our family, allow us the opportunity to relax and explore some of Oregon's waterways.

A wonderful Family Trip!

This house is in a great location and is perfectly set up. We loved the convenience of being steps away from the dock where we had our boat and also so close to the market if we needed anything. We really appreciate the rental owners attention to detail there seemed to be everything we needed. We had a wonderful Time!
