Bienvenido a Peace of Paradise - ¡Un nuevo alquiler de vacaciones con Hawaii Life Vacations!

Nuestra escapada a la selva, rodeada por un acre de árboles frutales y paisajes tropicales, es el lugar perfecto para desconectar del ajetreo y el bullicio de la vida de la ciudad y disfrutar de todo lo que Big Island tiene para ofrecer. ¡Este retiro tranquilo te hará desear que nunca hayas tenido que irte! Los bungalows individuales separados por pasillos y terrazas crean espacios de vida tan únicos y hermosos como los jardines que lo rodean, lo que le permite sentirse verdaderamente parte del aire libre. Hay tres salas de estar separadas (bungalows separados) conectadas por cubiertas y caminos. Tanto los bungalows de la habitación como los de la sala de estar cuentan con grandes ventanales que le brindan una maravillosa vista al exuberante entorno

El primer bungalow es una gran sala de estar abierta con un (pequeño) televisor y reproductor de DVD. Nota: No hay cable o satélite aquí. Este espacio puede ser una sala de entretenimiento, para películas o juegos, un gran lugar para meditar o incluso para leer un buen libro. Hay esteras para dormir en la sala de estar para huéspedes adicionales.

Al otro lado de la terraza desde la sala de estar se encuentra el segundo bungalow y el encantador dormitorio principal con baño. Las comodidades para dormir incluyen una cómoda cama de tamaño completo en el dormitorio con mosquitera. La encantadora bañera es un lugar favorito para relajarse y contemplar el jardín, a través de las ventanas que lo rodean: tiene total privacidad. Detrás de la habitación, afuera, hay una ducha al aire libre cerrada para un enjuague rápido y conveniente.

El exuberante paisaje tropical incluye numerosos árboles de cítricos, mangos, lichis y frutales. La característica del estanque que conduce a través de un pequeño puente a un jardín zen hace de esta una escapada tranquila y hermosa que no se puede perder.

Beautiful Jungle Escape

The property is beautiful! And a nice little private slice of paradise. The place was clean and unique. We did miss having a shower, but who’s in a hurry when you are on Aloha time?

Best Cozy Little Hideaway

Spacious and private! You really do feel like you're out in the rainforest in this secluded little bungalow. We can't decide if the kitchen, living room, or bedroom was our favorite space - but it's worth it to come the that bathtub alone!

All 3 bungalows have full views of the gardens with complete privacy. Listening to the rain , the frogs or even the roosters was so cool. The bathtub and dining room were my two favorite spots. The neighbors dog barks from time to time but besides that it’s a beautiful slice of paradise in the jungle. Such a unique place to callHome for your stay

The home is unique and the pictures represent it well.The house is beautifully set in a jungle feel with lush gardens. It is in a development about 15 blocks from a park area on cliffs above the ocean and an easy drive to Hilo beaches.All renters should be aware that wild chickens populate the property and there is a cocks farm nearby. That contributes to pre-dawn cacophony provided by other birds. In the evening the frogs begin to croak. We enjoyed the sense of nature but advise you to BRING EAR PODS for quiet. That said, if you enjoy a uniquely delightful experience, this choice is for you.

Jungle bungalow oasis

This place is magical! We loved the separate bungalows and the walkways connecting each, and being surrounded by thick towering plants and trees with patches of lava rock and mossy grass. Staying here felt kind of like glamping in the jungle but way better than that. It has everything you could ever need while still being surrounded by nature. It was also a good location between Hilo and Volcanoes NP. As mentioned in other reviews, there's definitely noise from the chickens, frogs, and birds - but that's all part of the experience! Luckily there was a nice standing fan in the bedroom that drowned out any noise so even my 8 month old baby could sleep through the night. The neighbors were close but kept to themselves. All in all - this was the coolest place I've ever stayed in!

Absolutely amazing

I loved staying here. The only negative thing I could say is the neighbors have dog(s) that are outside all night and whine and bark. By night two this blended in with all the other sounds of chickens and frogs and rain (which we loved). On the first night one of the dogs came walking up to the deck to say hi. He was very sweet. He hung out for a while then left. Maybe he just wanted to come back, and his human wouldn't let him and that's why he was crying every night. I would stay here again even with the dogs talking all night.

The Perfect Retreat

I rented this house for a month long solo getaway and it was PERFECT! Stepping on to the property for the first time was incredible. The magic of the house and the surrounding land is even better in person than in the photos. The house is beautifully decorated and so homey. I will say it did take me a while to get used to the local critters - mainly the geckos. They liked to surprise me in the bedroom and the bathroom. I'm sure I scared them more than they scared me! 😂 The neighborhood is lovely. There are neighbors to either side of the property. You can hear them, but you can't see them. I actually found hearing them to be very comforting. It was nice to know there were others around while still feeling like I had my privacy. The property manager, Jolanta, was incredibly responsive and maintenance was always there within the hour anytime I had a problem. I so enjoyed this little oasis and hope to return soon!

Unfortunate new development

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed at this property for a month in 2021 and was so excited to return again for three weeks at the beginning of 2023. Upon arrival, the place was so magical - just as I remembered it. Unfortunately though, in the time span since I had last been there, the neighbors got new dogs who barked for many long stretches throughout the day and night, sometimes for hours at a time. Sadly, it greatly affected my ability to enjoy my time at the property and I had to move a week into my stay. While this was an unfortunate development, the team at Hawaii Life Vacation Rentals was so helpful and accommodating in finding me a new place to stay. They took my concerns seriously and were both prompt and caring with their communication. I'm sad things didn't work out with this house, but I am very grateful to have had the support of Hawaii Life, specifically Jolanta & Robinette. Thank you ladies for finding me a new place to stay! It turned out to be a really wonderful place to finish out my stay on the island. Though I may not be able to recommend this property (as long as the barking remains), I highly recommend booking with Hawaii Life Vacation Rentals!

Wonderful Stay

Wonderful setting in the jungle and the set up with the three separate “bungalows” makes it feel very tropical. It’s away from the hustle of town and hotels, but not too far from the sights and activities of the island.

Reviewer Comments: the property is very private even though there are close neighbors on each side and in the back. kids on one side very noisy and animals (dogs and chickens) have their early morning routine with greeting the day. No laundry facilaties make an extended stay difficult since there were no extra bed linens or towels. the bed was comfortable with extra pillows. no comfortable outside furniture available

Picture perfect paradise

Reviewer Comments: Peace of Paradise was truly a gem and a pleasure to call home for 4 nights. The tropical lush grounds made you feel a world away, and that’s exactly where I wanted be. Location was great for our daily explorations of the Hilo side of the island. The neighborhood dog visitors were surely a perk for us, may not be for some. The wildlife at night does get quite audible. It wasn’t an issue for us and truly added to the experience of checking out of reality. If you are a light sleeper you may want to bring ear plugs. Peace of Paradise was perfect for us. Mahalo.

Unique tropical experience

This was a lovely place to stay. Having three separate living areas connected by wooden walkways was fun and unique. The property was gorgeous, with lots of beautiful flowering plants and trees. One thing guests should be aware of is that this is in a residential neighborhood, so it did not feel quite as private as expected, with noise (mostly music, and loudspeaker one day) and visiting dogs on occasion. That said, it was lovely, spacious, and certainly a good value. It was also just 30 miles from Kilauea volcano, which was erupting - ! - and about an hour from a beautiful botanical garden.

Lovely Place

This was a great place - we enjoyed the space. Get there in the daylight as the entrance is easy to miss at first but that adds to the privacy, although you will hear the neighbors through the frogs. A heads up that we were visited by the neighbor's dogs (4 of them) at various times, not to mention the feral kitties. We are animal people so the visits didn't bother us although it was hard not to feed the ferals. We took baths just to enjoy the spectacular view in the bathroom, and I spent a lot of time in the bedroom since the windows made it feel like being outside. Same with the living area. Kitchen had what we needed.

Beautifully Decorated......

This property is beautifully decorated and the garden is nice. The biggest issue we had was that it was very close to the neighbors so we heard screaming children which made it feel less private. We could see the neighbors place as it was about 50 ft away. Also the wandering roosters and chicken farm two doors down presented a bit of a problem for sleeping as they liked to crow at about 3 am until about noon everyday. We closed the windows which helped to buffer the sound of the roosters, but it made the place very hot and uncomfortable for sleeping. If they install air conditioning for the bedroom it would be great. Another small change of adding a handheld sprayer to the bathtub would have made it slightly more comfortable.

Wonderful oasis

We stayed here for a week and loved it. The area is surround by beautiful Hawaiian plants and flowers. Had all the essentials we needed and was just a short drive to Hilo and an easy day trip to the volcanoes and Kona. Thanks for letting us stay at your wonderful home

Definitely a slice of paradise!

This place is a magical slice of paradise & is filled with tiny details that make it feel like a home and place to relax rather than a cookie-cutter vacation rental without a personality. The scenery & plants in the property had us in awe the whole time. It’s exactly what we were hoping for—a little seclusion, so it was worth the drive for us. Never saw the neighbors. The jug of water was much appreciated. The sound of the frogs is actually quite cute and soothing despite being loud. The MANY roosters were a thing though...1 am, 4 am, 6am. A bit hard to contend with if you aren’t used to it. Ear plugs and white noise from our phone definitely helped. Also, we’d recommend the first time you get there to be in daylight...it would have been a different feeling if we went there for the first time in the dark.

Lush tropical stay on Big Island

My sister and I stayed here for a month and we felt like we were staying in a lush cabin in a tropical rain forest! We were surrounded by nature the whole time, including geckos, chickens, and lots of friendly cats. The garden was beautiful and full of all different kinds of greenery & fruit trees. On clear nights, we were able to see stars across the entire sky. Whenever we needed some additional maintenance help, the property manager was quick to respond or send someone over to help us. The rooms themselves were clean and equipped with items that made it feel homey. Overall we had a fun stay, mahalo!
