Newly renovated property! Entire home has been renovated for your stay. Peaceful, quiet home located just steps from the Neuse River. Fishing pier, and kayak launch. Recreation center steps away as well. Indoor/outdoor pool, fitness center, game room. Rec center covers use for one family! Everything is here to enjoy your vacation. Downtown New Bern 15 minute drive and the beautiful North Carolina beaches are within 35 minutes. More pictures coming soon of our new ping pong table that will be set up in the game room!

Our stay

A lovely home on a quiet street with access to bikes and the nearby Rec Center with swimming pool. It was an easy drive to New Bern.

Great family place!

This home was perfect for our visit to see my son at Cherry Point! We all enjoyed the spacious and clean home, the indoor pool, the gym and the bicycles! The hosts were quick to respond to any inquiries and provided a well stocked kitchen. The ping pong table was awesome too!

Cozy Holiday

This place affords a family time to have fun together.We enjoyed playing ping pong and listening to records and CD’s. We Enjoyed walking thru the neighborhood along the old marina. The Recreation Center provides indoor swimming year round. It was comfortable even though we had every bed filled.

Great Hosts!

There are a lot of entertainment options for this house that our family loved, and it was well stocked with the essentials. It is close to a grocery store, and the drive into New Bern is short and beautiful. The only negatives were that I was surprised by the sulphur water smell, and it looked like some of the dishes were put back in the cupboard without being washed first. Washing the dishes and putting them away are part of the check out process, and the people who stayed there before us did not do a great job.

Can't wait to go back!!!

All went very well - the house is in such a great spot (close to downtown New Bern) - and the facilities (pool, gym, etc) were fantastic, and we used them all!! The house itself was lovely, clean, beds were great, and the everyone LOVED the ping pong table!!! Would love to come back!!!

Beautiful home with comfy beds. Loved playin ping pong each day and listening to records. My favorite was Carole King. Just a short walk to the pools. Enjoyed pizza in the evening at the outdoor pool then headed into the hot tub. So nice and quiet. Had a great time. Only thing missing is a restaurant close by.

Family trip

Had a great time and enjoyed several games of ping pong. Would definitely stay here again. Host was very responsive throughout the whole process. Area was nice and quiet. Loved the community amenities.

Relaxing getaway just right for my teens

We always look for the extras when booking a VRBO and this one was just right for my teens. Ping pong was a huge hit, and so was the bike availability. Not to mention the close access to tennis courts, pickle ball courts, and basketball courts. The open kitchen was great for family conversations over pizza. A grill was even available. This was a nice retreat for my family to gather our thoughts and be together.

2023 MS Historic New Bern Ride

We were visiting from Florida to participate in the 2023 MS Historic New Bern Century Ride. We rode in 2022 (our first) and stayed here then. David and Terri are great hosts, very communicative and accommodating. The home was in great shape and well-appointed. It handled the 5 adults who stayed over the weekend comfortably. While it's a little bit of a drive to New Bern, we chose this location because it is near the water and quiet. We only wish the mosquitos didn't like us as much as they did. We'll be back next year!!

Perfect location

We love to share with our guests all that New Bern has to offer. We both love the water. We actually met on a little island called Hope Town, which is located in the Bahamas.
