Una hermosa casa de campo blanca construida por el fallecido Tony Debevc, propietario de Debonne Vineyards en Madison, Ohio. Tony construyó esta encantadora casa para su esposa, Rose y sus dos hijos, Donniella y Tony. La ubicación es perfecta, a solo unos pasos de Debonne Vineyards y a poca distancia en auto de muchas bodegas ubicadas en el Grand River Valley. La cabaña se encuentra a 10 minutos en coche de Ginebra en el lago y se encuentra en 50 acres hermosos. Los inquilinos tienen acceso a la pesca y pueden disfrutar de un tranquilo paseo por el campo hasta el gran río. La casa está recién decorada con mejoras modernas, manteniendo el encanto y el amor que Rose y Tony tenían. This home was very clean and comfortable for the four adults we had in our group. It is very close to many wineries in the area if that is your goal. If we come to this area again, we will definitely look to this property first for availability.

Great place for a family getaway weekend. It was close to the wineries and remote enough for privacy (we couldn’t see or hear any other people from the house), plus a great view of the vineyards. We enjoyed the fire pit one night and also used the game room in the garage. We look forward to going back.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cottage! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was beautiful, and we loved spending time together making memories. It was the perfect place to unplug, enjoy the outdoors, and have some fun with friends. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back again!

Nice country home close to wineries. The weather was chilly with drizzle but it would have been nice to enjoy the outdoor fire pit. The bedrooms were cozy and beds comfortable. Michelle was easy to communicate with. We only ate breakfast in and appreciated the coffee maker.

Comfortable home in the heart of NE Ohio Wine Country! Stayed here for family get together and all enjoyed. We really enjoyed the PAC Man game in the garage/game room!

Centrally located in Lake Erie wine country. Close to good wineries and restaurants. Some wonderful hiking trails nearby. Area was very quiet and night. Cottage was well equipped with kitchen essentials. Bedding was comfortable. Very cute clean cottage. I would stay here again if visiting the area.

In general, the property was great for our trip. It was clean and in a good location for the wineries and about 20 minutes from the beach area. Other reviews mentioned the lack of towels, so we were prepared for that and brought our own. The kitchen needs a little attention. The pots and pans were scarce and the ones that were there were quite old. One cabinet was quite messy with spilled sugar, tea and other random items that must have been left behind by other guests. The listing mentioned that a starter pack of firewood would be provided, we did not see any firewood.Thankfully, we always travel with water bottles and gallons. The water is clearly well water and has a very metallic odor. It was bothersome, but understandable. However, there must be a sewage or septic issue because a very offensive odor was left in the living room area after showering.There is a bonus game room which we didn't recall being in the listing. It was fun and a nice addition to the stay. I would suggest just a little more attention to detail. Updating the guest book because it listed inaccurate wi-fi information. Providing towels and updating the cookware would greatly improve the stay.In summary, it was a nice stay for what we paid. The cleanliness was our top priority.

The perfect spot for a laid back bachelorette weekend

The house was SO CUTE and more than we expected. Honestly loved staying away from the strip and really enjoying the wineries near by. Every where was so close. The farthest we went was about 20 mins to the strip. It was quiet and loved the space! My favorite is the 4 seasons room. The firepit is an added bonus and the house supplied everything we needed. I HIGHLY recommend!

Wine Weekend Getaway

This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. We planned to visit a few local wineries and the location of this home was right in the heart of all the wineries, with one even within walking distance! The home itself was comfy and cozy for my husband & I and two other couples. Plenty of room, tons of laughs and lots of delicious wine was enjoyed by all. We will definitely be back.

We would consider another visit. Michele had a fire going when we got there on a 14 degree day. It couldn't have been more welcoming and appreciated.

Weekend Getaway

Hosts were very responsive to questions/concerns we had. House was a time-travel for me as I grew up in an old farmhouse and was delighted with the rustic charm. Much more space than we realized and the game room in the garage was an awesome bonus. Perfect location for wherever we chose to go was a short drive. Storage aplenty. Quiet. Peaceful. Relaxation. You will experience this all.

The house and location was great! However I was disappointed with the host communication. There was no information provided other than the door access code. When I messaged on the morning of checkout to find out any check-out requirements, I was told the checkout time had been moved up to 10 as opposed to the posted 11. As we were already involved in morning activity, this caused quite a disruption in our morning plans.

Lovely getaway

We stayed for 4th of July weekend with friends and had a lovely time. Geneva-on-the-Lake itself was very kitschy, so we were happy to be a short drive away. In addition to bringing bath and kitchen towels, guests should know that there extensive clean-up instructions (including vacuuming) but not a lot of local information. This was especially challenging since we didn't always have a signal for using Google Maps! Michelle was responsive when we called to ask about the on-property walks mentioned in the property description, and her recommendation of Hogback Ridge Park was welcome. It just would have been nice to have more local info, instructions (like that hot and cold are reversed for one shower), and maps.

Thank you for the kind words. We have taken your suggestion and now have a "What To Do In Our Area" . We hope you will return and find your suggestion useful. We do ask guests to bring towels. All other linens are provided. We have a check-out list which includes removing sheets and wiping down basic messes and talking out the trash to the garage. This helps our cleaning staff should we have guests checking in the same day as a check-out. These are just suggestions, but we do not charge a fee if the list is not complete. Should you return for a stay, I hope you will find it enjoyable! THANK YOU!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. Every detail had clearly been thought through to make guests feel comfortable and welcome.The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to do while still providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The amenities were outstanding, and the home was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Beautiful home

Beautiful home nestled in the vineyard. The kitchen was adequately stocked, beds were comfortable and cozy. The home was clean and homey feeling. This is our second visit and we were very pleased both times.
