Love staying here

We love staying here, the grounds are nice, pools and hot tubs are great, and the beach can’t be beat.

Overall great experience! No hand towels in the kitchen or pot holders. Pots and pans were great for our cooking needs. We did not get any information about the check in process but thankfully we have stayed in the resort before so we figured it out. Also no check out instructions other than the time.

Great property. We had a lovely time coming for a short visit to Rocky Point. This condo was cute, clean, and easy to access. The full kitchen was nice to have to cook instead of going out.

We will definitely be back!

Everything was better than expected. From the friendliness of the staff upon check in, to the super clean room with a beautiful view, we were very happy. This was our first time to Rocky Point and we are now going to make this a yearly trip.

Very clean, nice condo and great view. Only complaint would be the bed was not sturdy. The head bord was not connected and very loud anytime we moved.

Never coming back

The bed was old and hard, bedding was cheap and uncomfortable, couch you sat on and sunk into, no pot holders, view was amazing. Pool bar only took cash and the ATM in lobby had a charge of 69.60 usd to withdraw any amount. So was not able to utilize the pool bar, not going to pay that kind of money just to withdraw 100.00

Sonoran Sea was great; room was not

We chose Sonoran Sea because the location absolutely can't be beat and we've rented at a few different resorts along Sandy Beach. The resort itself was very clean and beautiful and we would definitely stay there again, but in a different condo room. This room was extremely dated and in need of some major work. The shower curtain was covered in orange mildew and the room smelled very musty - almost to the point of moldy. The shower rod was rusted over and the hot water heater was too small to even sustain a single short shower. The only kitchen amenities were salt and pepper and the pots and pans were almost un-useable. There was no dish brush to clean the pans and no dish towels - only paper towels. The stove only had 2 useable burners and was very old and difficult to cook on. The crevices of the room were pretty dirty and the lights were very dim throughout the room. As I mentioned, I would stay at Sonoran Sea again but in a renovated room. We traveled with friends who were in a room on the floor above us and what a difference! Definitely read the reviews for the individual rooms - they are very different!

Nice. Great balcony

Clean and up- lifting with the colors of the walls. Great to be higher up for the view (5th floor). The musty smell was pretty bad. Otherwise a nice stay. The night before we left (Sunday). Guards went off duty and younger group drinking causing a scene so we left the swim pool area earlir than we planned.

It was a perfect vacation

The property was excellent. The room was very clean and all the staff were extremely helpful with my questions and requests. My only complaint would be the volume of the music being played by some guests at the pool. The portable sound systems they had were incredible and was intrusive even with the balcony doors closed. However I have to point out that this only occurred during the day and early evening. It was overall however a perfect vacation and I would stay every chance I got on every future visit. Many Thanks to all.
