BAJO NUEVA PROPIEDAD !! ¡JUSTO EN LA PLAYA! Vistas sin obstáculos por millas. ¡Salga por la puerta de atrás, salga de la cubierta e inmediatamente está en la arena! Muy privado, sin vecinos al sur por aproximadamente 2 millas y con vista bloqueada de las casas del norte, pero a una corta distancia a pie de los restaurantes populares. Renovaciones continuas. Televisor grande de 50 pulgadas en la sala familiar y televisores en las tres habitaciones. Impresionante vista al mar desde la acogedora sala de estar. Dos dormitorios de matrimonio y el tercero con dos Duobunks! Dos baños, uno de ellos con un cómodo pasaje desde el lavadero hasta el pasillo del dormitorio. Ropa de cama incluida sin costo adicional. Casa para no fumadores.

We had a great time!! Thank you for sharing your lovely beach cottage. We especially loved hearing the ocean waves every day and night. The cottage is right on the beach with a beautiful view of the water.

Great stay! Easy-to-find property in a great location- just off the main road. Check in and out process was super easy. Multiple beds but the one we used was very comfortable. Host was very very communicative and very helpful. Property was clean. Could use a little updating but honestly not even close to a big deal. Perfect view of the sunrise and so amazing being right on the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

The home was just as portrayed and Vickie was great about keeping me updated on check-in. Unfortunately, we travelled in during a bad storm and only stayed 1 night. We were unable to enjoy the outdoor areas but as a frequent beach vacationer, I could tell that they would have been amazing had the weather been more amenable. Vickie was very understanding of the situation and was a great host. I would highly recommend a stay at this property.

Awesome ocean views from huge back deck right next to the dunes. Easy beach access from the house and new renovations….brand new kitchen, 2 new bathrooms and 1 new big picture window to watch the ocean from the inside when raining. Screened in side porch a plus also. Have been going here for 4 years now. So nice to see improvements every time! Thank you Don and Vickie for sharing your wonderful beach house. Hope to see it again next year.

Don & Vickie’s home was peaceful, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing beach vacation. The walk to the beach was easy, and the dune wasn’t too steep—great for families. We enjoyed nearby attractions like the aquarium and had some amazing meals at local restaurants. The deck is awesome and the view is amazing! The host was friendly and quick to respond if we had questions, which made the experience even better. It was the perfect mix of fun and relaxation. We’d definitely stay here again - especially if we decide to travel with our pups later!

Just what we needed

Amazing deck; location is unbeatable… walk over (around) the dunes and into the beach! The deck is just awesome with such expansive views. Sunrise every morning while sipping coffee and taking our dogs to play on the beach was the greatest way to start our days! Outdoor shower is fantastic with actually a hot and cold line… and a hose line… so cleaning up coming off the beach is so easy and helped keep the sand off the dogs. A/C unit is a little older and had some trouble keeping up mid day with direct sun; but got comfortable again by the night with all the fans on.

Just as advertised

Family loved our stay. Property is in a great location and clean. We brought our 2 dogs and the house was accommodating for them as well with covers on the sofas, food bowls, and gates on the deck that we appreciated.

Location is everything

Right on the beach with unmatched views of the ocean! We loved it here, especially on the back deck. It is a great place to see dolphins (and sting rays!).The recently upgraded appliances and kitchen cabinets were very nice. We really enjoyed it here and hope to return for future vacations.

Absolutely fantastic stay! Lovely home with everything you need to make your vacation perfect. Very clean and views that simply can't be beat. Loved the huge deck and the gate to keep our sweet pup, Bonnie, safe. We fell asleep every night to the sounds of waves and woke up to them. Lots of delicious restaurants close by!! We will definitely book this lovely home again. 10/10 Thanks for the great week!

The perfect week at the beach! The house was clean and had everything we needed for our week at the beach. Our sons loved playing with the toys in the bunk room when they weren't playing in the ocean and sand (also loved the boogie boards and sand toys the house also provided!). Kitchen was well stocked for any cooking needs but the house is also located within minutes of so many great restaurants if you're not up for cooking. It was our first time going in June due to the school calendar and it wasn't crowded at all. Highly recommend.

Always an amazing stay at Hip Nautical!

This was our third stay at Hip Nautical. Perfect location, the owners are very thoughtful and do a lot of extras to make your stay wonderful. Our pups loved it too! Dog friendly, spacious and absolutely stunning views! They have a great deck on the oceanfront. We love it!

Great Getaway

Awesome beach front house and perfect place to relax. Convenient to stores / restaurants / sights. Hosts are helpful and available for any questions should needs arise and have thought of all the "little things" inside. Can see many upgrades have been done to the property already and sounds like more are planned, should make this very nice place even nicer!

Vacation

Perfect for private beach vaca. Even in the off season, it was exactly what i wanted. Quiet, but close enough to everything. House is very nice, clean, and owners were easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend this beach oasis!

Very disappointed

We booked this cottage for a family wedding. I checked the reviews and it was 10.0/10. Not so. The location is definitely a 10, but the place is tired. ( Rubber stoppers in tubs, faucet handle broken off in main bathroom, living room sofas scratched, no icemaker, tired decorative pillows, kitchen linoleum cracked. All that we could have overlooked had we had consistent hot water. When I contacted the owner, they stated they had been there the week before and with intermittent showers they were able to get warm, not hot, water. They had scheduled a plumber to come AFTER our visit so as to not disturb us. We did not have hot water to shower or wash dishes. I had to heat up water on the stove to wash dishes. The dishwasher did not work, but they said that was due to having the child lock on. I tried several times to hold and unlock, but it did not work. I am hard-pressed to give this cottage more than a 6.0 the bed and mattresses were good. Not having basic amenities like hot water is really a drawback. We checked out two days early and they are going to be refunding us for those two days. She stated that when her housekeeper went in that there was warm water in the kitchen and that the dishwasher worked. There was no hot water when we needed it. It messed up our dinner plans, etc.. I was really saddened by the attitude taken by the owner. No one should have to stay anywhere where they can’t count on having hot water. They knew something was wrong with the water heater.

Dolphins, pelicans and beautiful weather.

We saw so very many dolphins this trip along with a lot of pelicans. Watching them from the huge deck with the magnificent views was amazing. Weather was great, sunny and warm. Free Netflix is always a plus. Great restaurants, bagels and a bakery all within a few miles of Hip Nautical keeps cooking at a minimum. We hope to get back again next year.

Fabulous Location!

This home offers the most magnificent view and proximity to the ocean of any house that we stayed at while at the ocean. You could just sit on the deck and feel like you were at the beach!

Amazing location!

HipNautical is a wonderful find! Sitting on the deck you feel as though you are right on the beach! The house was very inviting with a lot of little touches that arent provided in other houses - a sweet welcome gift, kitchen supplies, toilet paper, kleenex, and even flashlights for the beach at night! The streaming services were also a welcomed surprise and tvs in all the bedrooms was really nice. Vicki was very communicative throughout the duration of our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Relaxation from the second we put the code in.

The property is WONDERFUL!!! Litterally 20' from the beach and in an amazing location in Kill Devil Hills. The welcome gift will bring back memories for years. We had an issue with food pickup / delivery timing and Vicki was so helpful and returned our communication almost immediately offering a quick solution that saved our first day. The house wa so clean and perfect for our needs. It reminded me of the beach house i would go to with my family when I was a kid which was a great trip down memory lane. Only issue we had was when lightning struck the beach immediately behind the house which knocked out the wifi for the duration of our stay but that turned out to be very fortuitous as it gave us a solid reason for not communicating with work and checking emails which is truly what a vacation should be. When that happened we informed Vickie and she worked dilligently to try to find solutions but we told her not to worry as it actually helped us unplug and just sit and watch to waves, engage each other verbally (I know, we actually talked...lol) and enjoy the beach and if we really needed to get on line we would just use our hotspots from our phones. I would truly recommend this home for a vacation and definitely any property that Vickie is involed with. Thanks for everything Vickie and remember, reach out when / if you plan a trip to Boston.

My husband, Don and I love to visit the ocean with our adult children and grandchildren, so we decided to try a VRBO home to share with others. We have two sons, five grandsons and three granddaughters. They age from 16 to 14 months. Special memories are made at the ocean, whether it is total relaxation at the oceanfront house, or exploring the surrounding areas. We hope it is the same for you.

The best part is the amazing, HipNautical VIEW! Enjoy your coffee in the morning or a relaxing drink in the evening on the new deck with phenomenal views. Eight tall dolphin watching chairs to enhance your view! Part of the deck is shaded by 1100, for those who don't want the direct sun. The south facing screen porch also has a snack area for enjoying the view. There is a sitting area under the house with sand toys for children to play during the rain or just to get out of the sun for a while. Also under the house is a shower complete with hot water and a foot rinse station.
