Bonito Bungalow de 2 dormitorios. Todas las nuevas actualizaciones con nostálgicos bungalows de playa originales. Aire central frio. Fantásticas vistas al mar, a pocos pasos de la playa. Los perros pequeños están bien. Porche con vistas al agua es la mejor característica. Ducha exterior privada con agua caliente es una buena característica adicional. ¡¡¡Buena ubicación!!! Cerca del huracán Mos, Black Pelican y Johns.

Varios comentarios de 5 estrellas. Debe permanecer cabaña !!!!

We really enjoyed our time here! The location couldn’t have been better! It was just steps from the beach, which made everything super easy and relaxing. Check-in was a breeze, and the house had everything we needed. The owner was great at communicating and made sure we had all the info ahead of time. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing stay!

Great getaway!

Beach Retreat is a great cottage, very convenient to everything we wanted: nice restaurants, antique stores, Duck, etc. We loved being able to just walk out the back porch and onto the beach! The property was well stocked with everything needed for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

Wonderful location!!

Right on the beach! The cottage was cozy and comfortable. Hurricane Ian just made us shorten our stay by a day, but can't control the weather!

Location, Location, Location

The house was definitely rustic but the location is the absolute best! Perfect for our week with our dog - with the porches secured with gates so that he could enjoy the views without escaping! Steps to the beach, beautiful views from the covered porch.

Beautiful view

The house is a prefect small cottage. Loved everything about the location and the house. Very much enjoyed a relaxing day on the beach with my puppy dog and boyfriend. Thank you for sharing your vacation home.

Heaven on Earth

This is an amazing place, steps from the water. With a covered and completely enclosed deck it's a fantastic place for our pup and to watch the spectacular sunrise each morning. Comfy beds, great shower, and plenty of room. The owner is great. Highly recommend!

Cute cottage, perfect location!

We could not have loved our stay more! The cottage was perfect for our family, kids, dogs. The recent updates were a great bonus. We felt at home and also perfectly relaxed on the back deck watching the sunrise and enjoying the best view! The deck was dog friendly and enclosed so we could all sit out there together. The location is perfect!

Great Location

This property was great and probably one of the best places I stayed at while visiting OBX. Right on the beach - it was perfect for drinking coffee and watching the sunrise and hanging on the beach all day. It’s also super close to great restaurants and shopping. The home was clean and perfect size for my husband and pups. We will have to make another visit back as the weather didn’t quite cooperate, but we loved everything about this place.

Excellent location

The house is a great little 2 bedroom, perfectly located to step off of the porch and into the sand. A beach lovers dream. Mark was quick to respond with any questions or concerns. Definitely recommend for that old outer banks feel. Close to good restaurants

Great Spot right on the beach

As others have mentioned, you really can't beat the location of this place. Being right on the beach allowed my family and I to spend 8+ hours a day on the beach and in the water. Covered deck allows a shaded break from the sun, while still enjoying the beach. It's also just a short walk to several restaurants, coffee place, etc. Enjoyed a great stay here! Looking forward to next year.

Another memorable holiday!

Another memorable holiday at the Beach Retreat. This is our go-to OBX getaway. The recent upgrades make it feel like a brand new place, while retaining that original beach cottage charm! And speaking of charm, Mark is one of the most gracious hosts you will ever meet. I can't say enough, except that our best kept secret is secret no more!

Easy renting . Older house that needs repairs ; however the location made up for everything else. Great location could use some beach furniture for guest use or tell guest to bring their own

Location can't be beat

I had a lovely week here. The place is not posh or glamorous, but it's clean and cute and in a breathtaking spot. The owner is friendly and responsive to messages. In an area of huge and exorbitant rentals, it's perfect for travelers who want a smaller and more affordable space. The front porch 100 yards from the surf is magical.

Location, location, location!

My second stay here, and the view from the porch can't be beat. Literally steps from the water. The house is clean and cute, perfect for those who need a smaller space. Nice cold AC. Responsive and friendly owner. Highly recommended.

Cozy Solo Getaway!

I headed to the beach in search of solitude, and this cozy home delivered. The sunrise and sunset views were killer, and proximity to the beach doesn't get any better. The kitchen was well-appointed for home cooking, and bed was comfy. The home could use a little TLC but has all the basics covered. Mark was responsive when a small maintenance issue popped up, and I appreciated his quick communication.

Can’t beat the location

Cannot ask for a better location.. roll out of bed onto the beach! Upon our arrival we had to purchase ant traps and room freshener spray... someone prior to us had obviously had a dog between the smell and dog hair. Truly loved the beach and location but the house could use some tlc.

The Perfect Spot

For clarity and transparency, my wife, my dog, and I were the only occupants. This house was PERFECT. I know on occasion people are fooled are by photos or vague descriptions, but this was the opposite of that. The home was exactly as described and even better upon arrival. Right on the beach with a gorgeous deck to see the sunrise and sunset, perfectly furnished with a plenty of room for a family of 4 to 5. Professional and clean I hope to stay here again.

Beach Retreat perfect for beach lovers.

Perfect location. Great accommodations for us. Very disappointed with the housekeeping. The floor was sandy and there was pet hair in many places. I swept the floor with a broom and ran the vacuum. I could not believe how much debris I picked up. Both coffee makers were badly in need of cleaning. Especially the Keurig. The cottage was very welcoming in size and comfort. The back porch was terrific. It had an excellent view of the beach and the ocean. The short walk to the beach gives the feel of a private location.

Glorious views and many updates to cottage

I felt like I was back in time. The cottage is so warm and inviting. The views are perfect. Private yet the view is fantastic. The kitchen is beautiful. I love the cafe curtains. The master bedroom mattress is very comfortable. I love hearing the ocean roar while going to sleep. So peaceful. Also so dog friendly. The deck has doggie gates. It was so nice to relax and not worry about them escaping. Mark is warm and quick to respond. I want to come back year after year. Make time to see the most Beautiful sunsets ever!

Breathtaking piece of heaven

We wanted to take a last minute vacation and heard the OBX was an awesome place to go. Within minutes of finding this place, Mark was responding and we had it booked. The pictures don't do it justice...the view from the covered deck is amazing. We were able to watch a few surfers and dolphin pods while watching the ocean waves crash. Long work weeks...we deserved a chance to take a breath and got more. Our breath was taken away by the views. The cottage was clean and larger than we thought. The new stove and microwave made it easy to cook at our leisure. The sandbar is small so mobility issues are not as much an issue to get to the beach. In fact, if you can do 5 or 6 stairs, once inside you never have to leave because the deck overlooking the ocean is exactly what it says it is, close to water! Bring binoculars as it is fun to watch the dolphins and birds dive in the water.
