Hermosa casa de troncos cerca de todo en los bosques del norte ... En verano tenemos el lago Castle Rock, el lago Petenwell, (segundo lago más grande de Wisconsin), el río Amarillo (acceso en el patio trasero), el Refugio de Vida Silvestre Necedah. Wisconsin Dells cerca (30 millas) y mucho más. En invierno hay senderos para motos de nieve (el acceso está a 1/4 de milla de la casa), raquetas de nieve, patinaje, cualquier cosa en invierno ... !! Visítenos, nos encantaría que experimente los bosques de Wisconsin North ..

Our hosts MaryAnn and Bob are AMAZING! They are always so accommodating! We had a great Thanksgiving at our house in Necedah! Maryann had table decorations out and put aside extra silverware for us to use! Thank you for letting us use your home to build everlasting family memories!!!

If you want to be spoiled, this is the place!

The owners have really made this place something special. They care about their home as much as they care about their guests. Couldn't think of a single thing that I would change about it. Hope we get to come back soon!

Family Vacation

This property was perfect for our family of four. The location was great for going to the Dells, State Parks and to the Wildlife Refuge. The property was clean and fresh and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the garage space and the shuffleboard game in the basement.

Bob and Mary Ann's home was above and beyond our expectations! Well stocked for our needs and more. They're homey touch made the week fun and relaxing for all of us. Ages ranged from 5 to 68 and all want to come back!

Really nice family getaway spot.

My family greatly enjoyed our time at this rental. Very well taken care of home and in great condition. Nice mix of modern with a cabin feel. The hosts went out of the way to have the house setup and make our time a breeze. The kids room was a huge hit for my daughter. The house is in a quiet subdivision in Necedah and was near lakes and parks. Also a easy ride to the Wisconsin Dells.

Great Family Space

This home is the best rental we've ever stayed in. We were amazed when we arrived to find a space better than the photos. The home was clean and full of ammenities like the welcome basket with snacks, nice linens, mattress pads, pack n play, infant bassinet, potty chair, step stools, booster seats, movies, Xbox one, multiple TV's with streaming access, ping Pong, kids crafts, yard games, laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner and body wash, paper plates, and so much more. The owners are great communicators, and it's obvious they care and want you to enjoy your stay. There is a Wildlife Refuge and State Park nearby that we enjoyed as well, but the house itself has so much to do that we really didn't need to go anywhere else over our 5 night stay there.

Great Family Reunion...

The house had everything we needed (and more), was within driving distance of a lot of activities to do with the kids, and the hosts were AMAZING! THE GARAGE!!! We basically lived in the garage with our kiddos. It was such a BONUS to have this space:) Mary Ann was so thoughtful and kind. We had a few of the kiddos get sick while on the trip and Mary Ann was beyond flexible on our check out time, and even offered to let us stay an additional night if needed. Thank you for letting us stay at your home:)

Amazing

This house is simply amazing! Owners are very involved and very easy to reach if there’s a problem! The only house I’ve ever rented that put together a personalized welcome basket for us! Had absolutely everything we could’ve needed and more! We had a large group and everyone had a soft bed to sleep in! 3 showers and the washer all running and everyone still had hot water! THATS IMPRESSIVE!!! Wish I could give more the 5 ⭐️

Holiday getaway

We had an awesome time at Mary Ann and Bob's property! The house is beautiful and very welcoming. A fully stocked and equipped kitchen with everything we needed to prepare yummy meals, comfortable beds and lots of games for the kids and adults to play. The space was perfect for our two families and the garage provided the extra space to do some workouts or play ping pong. We got to enjoy the snow in the very spacious backyard and do s'mores at the fire feature close to the stream. During our stay we went for a walk at the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge, although the actual building was closed due to covid safety, then we went sledding at Friendship Park in Friendship, where there was a small hill for the kids to enjoy some outdoor time, and we also went snow tubing to the Whitetail Ridge Ski Area, which was a lot of fun even if there were some lines and the way up the hill was pretty slow. Finally, we drove by the Buckhorn State Park and it was really cool to see people fishing on the frozen lake. Most importantly, throughout our stay we felt that Mary Ann and Bob were great hosts who really wanted to help us have the best possible experience and to feel comfortable in their cozy house.

It is a beautiful log cabin stocked with everything you can imagine that you may need. I love to cook and they had an amazing stove, fridge, and grill. We used the patio fire table and watched the squirrels. It is literally the cleanest home I have ever stayed in. We loved all the games in the garage and in the basement and shuffleboard was played every single day. Thank you for an amazing week in your home!!!

Cozy and delightful!

This log home in Necedah is the perfect place for a couple or a group. Bob and Mary Ann are phenomenal hosts, very friendly, reliable, helpful and kind. The house is in great condition and is stocked with everything you could ever need. The garage has a finished floor and walls which makes the perfect setting for ping pong, hanging at a huge family style table or watching the kiddos play in the kids corner. The deck off the kitchen is super handy and so relaxing. The lot next door is empty and there is a small arm of the Little Yellow River along the backyard which provides a lot of privacy and quiet. The basement has a million board games, DVDs, as well as an electronic dart board and shuffle board. We had an extended stay and loved every minute. The home is close enough to town that you can walk down for lunch or dinner. Or, head the other direction to get away from everything and enjoy the wildlife and peacefulness. I would recommend this home to anyone and if we are in the area again it will be the first place we check for vacancy.

Fun for All!!

This property has it all! Quiet neighborhood, comfort, game room in the basement, and garage converted into family/game space! My kids loved the Kid’s Corner in the garage and made some beautiful artistic creations!! Mary Ann was great 😊. Received a call the night before just giving me details of check in and where to find various things in the house which was so helpful! The home offers everything you will need and my family made some wonderful memories! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful place to stay!

This property is in a nice, quiet neighborhood and is one of the cleanest rentals we have stayed at. They have thought of everything you may want or need. We loved all the games, movies, and outdoor activities. The garage was our favorite place to hangout with the family. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

Awesome house with an extra special garage

This house has it all. Great quite location with a home that has everythign for you and your family to be entertained. From shuffle board to darts, and even cornhole. We played family olympics with all the entertainment. We also spent a lot of time in the garage eating, playing cards, cornhole and watching TV. The weather was great so we opened up the garage door to let the breeze in while we enjoyed family. The deck was also very nice as it has a gas grill and a high top table with a gas fire pit to enjoy. Nothing bad to say about the stay, and Mary Ann and Bob were great hosts. Already planning our next stay there.

Easter Stay

My family and I were in Wisconsin for my mom’s Celebration of Life service. Though it was a sad time it was also one of the best times! We have never all been together for a Holiday and our Hosts accommodated us to have the best Easter EVER!!!!! Thank you, thank you Mary Ann & Bob! Great family getaway

Very clean and comfortable country home near Castle Rock Lake. Lots of family games on premise and Sand Valley golf course nearby. Outdoor space made evenings enjoyable. Owners are very friendly and accommodating.

Great vacation getaway!

What a great house for a family vacation! The house was even better than the posting. It was very clean, smelled great, and had every amenity we could have wanted or needed. Mary Ann communicated everything very well and even left snacks and activities/gifts for our kids. The kids loved the Xbox, the shuffleboard table, board games, the ping pong table, tv options and movies, and the yard. The deck was great as well as the grill. The kitchen was great and we h7ng out a lot as a family in the open living room. The kids loved playing in the basement. We enjoyed the area and canoed on Castle Rock Lake. We also loved the Necedah national wildlife refuge. Mini golf in Rome and ice cream in Necedah were hits with the kids. We also found very good restaurants in the area. We loved our stay and the house was perfect for our group of 5 adults and 4 kids.

The best getaway experience ever!

My family friends and my husband and I always travel up to Wisconsin for the holidays. We’ve been to many rental properties and never have I enjoyed my experience as much as I did here. Not only was Mary Ann the kindest and most communicative host ever, but she decorated for Christmas so the house was extra cozy. For any issue or question we had, Mary Ann was just a text away! The home was stocked with so many kitchen essentials along with so much entertainment available that we ALWAYS had something fun to do without even having to leave the house! I would absolutely and probably will stay here again!

Relaxing stay

The house was fully stocked, so it was easy to kickback and relax while there. It was beautifully decorated as well. Maryanne and Bob were so easy to work with. Would come back in a heartbeat!!
