Great Views in the middle of Nye Beach

Great location , everything is walkable. Close to restaurants, a grocery store, shops, etc. Wonderful views from the upstairs windows. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Home

We had an amazing time, loved how big the home was. Had just about everything you could possibly need. The view was amazing especially when the weather is great and not cloudy. Our family loved staying here cant wait to make another vacation and maybe get to stay their again.

Cozy at a great location!

This will be our go to rental for stays in Newport! Very comfortable accommodates with 2 full baths which is necessary for a group of ladies. Kitchen is easy to cook in while still participating in the conversations.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

A friend and I celebrated our birthdays with a long weekend at the beach and this Nye Beach house was lovely: views of the ocean, super close to the beach, restaurants, and shops, and clearly really thoughtfully put together for guests. Communication with the host was easy and clear, making the whole process really smooth.

Ideal Location

Great stay in Newport! You cannot beat this location. Easy walk to beach, restaurants, shops, etc. Plus, Deidre was really quick to respond to any question I had. The home was clean & much larger than I thought it would be. I would totally book this home again.

Family adventure

We LOVED the house, the area, everything about it! The house was clean, spacious, had a wonderful little yard and beach toys to use. The views from upstairs were amazing and, we could hear the ocean with the windows open. We will be back with the rest of our family to enjoy the house and the area. Great place! 5 stars!

Great location and views, a little dated.

Great location, The upstairs room is very open and the view is amazing, comfy couch. The house itself is a bit odd with the additions and it pretty dated based on the nightly price. An outside seating area would be nice. Owners were very responsive.

Ladies Getaway at the Beach July 2024

This was a very comfortable house for our ladies getaway. We each (4 total) had our own sleeping area (one slept in the upstairs loft). Beds were comfy. The upstairs living area was great for watching the sunset and movies. Kitchen and dining area was nicely laid out for cooking and conversation yet we were close to restaurants for the nights we didn't want to cook. Was quite windy when we stayed so didn't use the outdoor deck area much but it would have been nice for bbq'ing if the wind was calmer. Hydrangeas and fuchsias in the yard were beautiful. Great to have off-street parking. Loved how quiet the neighborhood was for being in town and loved the easy beach access. We all agreed we'd come back here again, perhaps next year if it works out.

Location can't be beat!

This adorable house is a block away from Nye Beach. You can see the ocean from the kitchen, and we watched whales spout from the upstairs living room couch! The house was spotless, and the addition is very spacious, giving you three bedrooms plus a large loft area, two living room spaces with couches, and dining areas upstairs and down. The beds were a little hard for our preference, and we brought our own pillows, but overall it was an amazing experience! A BBQ would be a bonus, but there are a ton of great restaurants in the area as well.

Spacious rental with easy beach access

We found the rental very comfortable with easy walking to the beach. A TV on the main floor would have been appreciated as one of our family members has difficulty with stairs. Upstairs was fantastic with a nice view of the ocean and sunsets.

The house was amazing. Clean with amazing views from upstairs (keep watch for whale spray)! It was spacious and allowed for our family to spread out when we weren't out exploring. The kiddos loved the play room area upstairs. We loved that it was in walking distance to some excellent restaurants and cute shops. My mom and aunt particularly loved the Bead Shop down the street. BJ's ice cream was delicious! The garden was lovely (all the plants/gardens in OR that we saw were lovely and we loved the wildness of them). Everything in the house worked great and it looked even better in person than in the pictures. If we come back to Newport, I would be looking to book this house again.

Pleasant beach experience

The house is a very old house that has had a major uplift but retains its historic profile. Our family of five had plenty of room for quiet time apart and comfortable locations when we wanted to be together. The kitchen has a great range. The many windows in the upstairs showed us the beauty of the beach and the sunset. We enjoyed the sandy beach, the quaint shops and comfortable restaurants. The location, just a short walk away from the beach and the shops, was delightful. We drove to a few restaurants and took a Sea Life cruise, both just minutes away. We saw whales, picked up shells, walked on the beach at night. The balmy weather was a welcome relief from our 100+ temperatures at home. Loved it!

Wonderful house for a weekend at the coast! Location was fabulous and the house was clean and comfortable with a lovey view from the second floor. Kitchen was very well stocked. Would definitely stay here again.

As others have said the view was fabulous. The location to the beach and town was fabulous! The Oregon Coast Aquarium, Hatfield Science center, Yaquina Lighthouse is close and so much more!!

Home Away From Home

This house is cozy AND spacious. We watched the sunset from the upstairs every night. It is so close to the heart of Newport and yet quiet. I will be re-booking soon.

It worked OK for the two of us.

Very nice upper level with excellent view of ocean. However, it could do with some window coverings for both daytime and nighttime tv viewing. Also, a standing reading lamp in main floor living room would allow one to read there. The owner did inquire if everything was OK to which we responded: yes. It did not seem that there was much they could do on such short notice re these issues. Be advised light sleepers may find it difficult to sleep in the northeast bedroom due to heat pump outside the window.

Perfect everything!

Clean, well-maintained, comfortable beds, and an incredible location! It's an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and the center of Nye Beach shops. I could've spent the entire day upstairs watching the ocean and birds soaring in the wind. The upstairs couch is great for afternoon naps. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great stay!

Even better than expected

Incredible views, cute little town, delicious food nearby, gorgeous beach within walking distance. Great for kids! Will definitely stay here again in the future.
