The condo was very clean and tidy. The beach was accessible, being a short walk (about 5 minutes). And if one has trouble walking, there is parking nearby making it easy to get to the beach. There is a pool located right outside the condo, which was just refurbished. The condo is located close to lots of things. The hosts were fabulous, keeping in touch, making sure things went smoothly, and giving tons of information about what to do. We have a fabulous time.

The property was amazing. The owners when we had issues were absolutely the best to deal with. They immediately took care of anything. The problems were at the pool at the pelican and walking to the beach. The smell of pot is ridiculous. A person can’t even enjoy sitting at the pool or walking to go out to the beach with out the smell of pot. And then the night before we left had to call security the people in the next condo was playing extremely loud music. It was utterly ridiculous. 2:30 on the morning music still blaring and the smell of pot was unreal. This is something that needs to get under control. My friend has been coming there since the 90’s and she and I have been coming there for our girls trip for the last 10 years. I don’t think that we will be back because of this.

Everything was as pictured. Condo was very clean and cozy. Actually, the first place that the we’ve ever stayed that the condo was effectively cooled. We turned the thermostat up! Parking was super easy. No waiting on elevators. Ellen was super friendly and fast to respond.I highly recommend booking with them!I know that I will again.

We arrived after midnight and check in was super easy. 24 hour security was easily accessible to provide parking pass and wristbands and code was provided by owner prior to arrival fo us to gain access to the unit. Great location - easy access to beach, stores and restaurants. Great view of the pool and property. Fully stocked kitchen was handy for meals and LOVED having an in unit washer and dryer. Owners were very responsive and gave helpful tips that made our vacation a bit easier to navigate. Would definitely recommend

Amazing Property- Highly Recommend to stay here!

My husband and I brought our 13 and 12 year old children and we all had a great time. The property felt very clean as soon as we walked in. The king size bed was so comfortable! The walk to the beach was only a few minutes and there were no roads to cross. The balcony to the unit is right over one of the pools so it’s easy to watch your family if you don’t want to go down to the pool. The unit is on the 2nd floor, so we always took the steps and never had to wait for the elevator. There is a washer/dryer to use and plenty of beach toys so there is no need to pack those or run out and buy some. There are two full size bathrooms which were very convenient. Communication with the property owner was great. She was always quick to respond. The location was close to several popular restaurants, excursions, grocery stores and shopping opportunities. The hwy out front is very busy and can be difficult to turn left out ofas there is no traffic light. Other than that the location was perfect! There are security guards monitoring traffic coming onto the property which made us feel very safe. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Quick 3 day summer trip to Destin

My kids and I and 2 of their friends wanted a quick 3 day getaway to Destin. This condo was perfect for us. Easy walking distance to the beach, pools within the property, and local restaurants and attractions. The condo was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely book again. Thank you!

The dryer did not work and the owner forgot to tell us or ruined some of the babies clothes. They had showings during our stay. The sheet on the couch bed had urine and pink stuff on it. The twin bed floor was dirty

Had some issues but enjoyed our stay

The condo was accurate to the description in the posting. I wish we would’ve known about the beach, requiring us to set up our chairs behind the rentals chairs. There were three rows of rental chairs in front of us. During our stay, the fire alarm battery was low in the alarm sounded throughout the early morning. We also had an issue with the dryer during our stay. They charged us 250 and we were not a fault for either issue.

We loved the condo. It was super clean and the pictures shown in the ad were very accurate. Communication with the owner/manager was very easy and all minor issues were dealt with very quickly. Highly recommended!

Overall is ok with exception of master bath issue

All amenities are well thought out and arranged for easy access. I like the property with one caveat that the master bath was clogging and could not use it. so, we have to stick with one bath only.

Perfect stay!

Grounds are clean and well maintained- palm trees all about they are beautiful! Condo was very clean and cozy! View of the pool and lake were very nice from the balcony! Resort is easy to get in and out of - thought it was just perfect!

Love this condo! Super clean and nicely decorated! The walk to the beach is short and beautiful! The host, Ellen, was very helpful and responded to us quickly. She even checked in on us through email to make sure everything was going good and we were enjoying our stay. My family and I will definitely recommend this condo to others and will visit here again!

Family Friendly

Great condo for our family. We had everything we needed. We were close to the public beach which we used a couple times to setup our canopy and then we paid for a half day large umbrella to use the private beach at the resort. They did pick up several umbrellas around 4 so several people moved to the front once the private chairs were picked up. We had to try out every pool and they were all great! Really enjoyed our stay and this is the perfect place for families with kids. We walked to a couple of the restaurants and shops. Great location in Destin!

Fantastic!

Comfortable condo as depicted in online listing. I was able to contact property manager easily when we had questions at check in; appreciated her availability. Short walk to beach, outdoor swimming pools, and boogie boards/umbrella/portable chairs in the condo (for beach use) made our stay with a 3 year old ideal. We liked our accomodations so much we even extended our stay! Would book again!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo. We enjoyed sitting out on the large balcony over looking the pool. The location is wonderful with everything close by. The beach is an easy walk away. Definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful condo/location

Condo was very comfortable and clean and loved being on the second floor and in the building away from the ocean. Very easy to navigate the grounds and felt very safe. The highway outside of the grounds is busy, but it was easy to drive to different places. Ahh...that beach and ocean! Ellen was very accessible and prompt to answer any questions or concerns.

Great condo in Destin!

This condo is on the pelican Beach property with access to heated pools and hot tubs, and very short walk (<5 min) to the beach. This condo has all the amenities you need, quiet and safe. Food places easily deliver here, or grocery stores are adjacent! Owners were very helpful and you can tell they’re thoughtful with all the extras included in the condo- spare soap, spare beach toys, chairs, towels, and so on. Could not recommend more!

Wonderful stay and superb location!

Our family of 4 had a fantastic stay at this condo. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The host was very helpful in providing recommendations and ensuring we had a memorable vacation. The unit was very clean and included all of the necessary amenities (and more!) including beach chairs, beach toys, and a full set up of utensils and supplies for cooking. I highly recommend this Terrace building over the main building which was much noisier and more crowded. This unit allowed us to enjoy the extras at the main building within a very short walk but provided the quietness we were after. We appreciated that this unit did not have people in units below us (the pool and admin offices are below). Our children are well behaved but we didn’t have to worry as much. We did not hear noise from neighboring side units or the unit above us which was a HUGE plus. The view from the balcony was perfect. The beach has some of the softest and best sand and is well kept. The pools are heated and were all very enjoyable. Lastly, the location can’t be beat. There is a lot to do within walking distance or a very short drive. I honestly do not have anything negative to say. I hope we get the opportunity to visit this condo again. Don’t hesitate to book it and have the vacation of a lifetime!

We had been to Destin numerous times mostly during spring break and we always love it. We're from Atlanta so being landlocked, we especially appreciate the white sand beaches. After living in California and Florida, it is something that we crave. Our building, the Terrace, is quiet and offers beautiful sunset views, the lake with its fountains lit up at night and fireworks seen from our balcony. Our housekeepers are amazing, keeping our condo spotless and smelling fresh. We enjoy sharing our oasis with numerous guests, welcoming them with cookies or popcorn, many of whom return every year.

We are in the heart of Destin so everything is at your fingertips including the Big Kahuna Waterpark and 54-hole Mini-Golf Course directly across the street. Winn Dixie and Target are both a few blocks away for any shopping. The Locale Market offers mouthwatering Southern style breakfast; lunch at the condo, at the Pelican Beach care or tiki bar or for pizza or a salad or sandwich next door at Lone Wolf Pizza; and delicious seafood dinner down the street at the famous Back Porch, Mimmo Restaurante Italiano or Harbor Docks on the Bay. And don't forget to check out the Southern Star Dolphin Cruise or the Pirate Cruise. In the summer, join the largest beach party by catching a Crab Island Cruise. We have had numerous careers but are now a realtor, a designer and an e-commerce specialist. All three of us love this unit, with its beautiful views, updated kitchen and baths and lovely decor. Over the past several years that we have owned it, we have collected special art, dinner wear and linens, further enhancing its visual appeal. It is perfect for any group but we especially like kids so we supply lots of beach toys, ocean themed puzzles, books and magazines. We can't wait to share it with our family, friends and you! PS-We're big foodies so take us up on our restaurant suggestions and let us know if you find a new special place!
