100 yardas del océano. Vistas al océano. SEMANAL SÓLO! El nombre de la casa se encuentra Carova Heights 3 millas al sur de la frontera con Virginia en Carova Beach. Esta casa es un lote de frente al mar y se trata de 15 pies. más alto. La elevación casa es más alto que cualquier otra casa en la medida que el ojo puede ver. Carova Heights was in an amazing neighborhood on the 4x4 portion of Corolla. The owners were fantastic with communication before, during, and after our stay. Property was exactly as advertised and exceeded expectations. The home had beautiful views and was the perfect size for our party of 12.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Carova! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how peaceful and private the location felt, surrounded by the beauty of the Outer Banks and with wild horses roaming nearby—it was magical.The house itself was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking at home, and the open layout made it perfect for spending time together as a family. The bedrooms were cozy, and the beds were incredibly comfortable after long days at the beach.The outdoor spaces were a highlight—plenty of deck space to enjoy the ocean breeze, and the pool was clean and inviting. We especially loved the quick access to the beach, which made it easy to go back and forth throughout the day.Communication with the host was seamless, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay.If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in a unique and stunning part of the Outer Banks, I can’t recommend this home enough. We left feeling recharged and already can’t wait to come back!

Great home

The property had everything we needed and then some. Our crew enjoyed the pool, hot tub, pool table and super close proximity to the beach access. The listing says fully stocked kitchen and it was!!! The owners were exceptional about keeping in contact with us. The house was in excellent condition, highly recommend this rental!!

Our stay at Carova Heights was like staying in our own second home. Check in was seamless with a very detailed welcome letter. The home was ready for early check in hours before we were! Everything we needed and more was available to us. It was very roomy and comfortable. The views from all the gorgeous windows and decks were magical. Explicit directions and labeled drawers and cabinets took away any frustrations of finding what was needed. The A/C was cold, the appliances were fantastic and worked well. There is a large private outside shower with hot and cold water for showering after the beach. The pool and deck was the perfect gathering spot in the evenings with barbecues and a mini fridge. There’s a very large dog pen under the front porch that is shady. We couldn’t have asked for anything more in a vacation home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this beautiful home. The description was completely accurate in that everything we could need was provided (they thought of everything) and the arrival gift was such a sweet touch. The home was very clean and met all of our needs. I would absolutely recommend Carova Heights for your 4wd area vacation!

Amazing house and vacation

We had a great time during our stay! When everyone says this house is furnished with every utensil you need, they aren’t lying! There was plenty of dishes for our large group and everything we needed and then some! The beach and the house had visitors from the horses daily and it was truly an amazing experience! We had trouble with the internet the first day, but the owners were very attentive to us and was available to answer questions and concerns! Truly a great visit and a beautiful house!

Very nice home! Rande was wonderful to work with! Ramona the housekeeper was top notch!! The house has everything you need! They supplied paper products, soap, lotion, aloe, sheets and towels! That is amazing for a rental! They really put a lot of thought into your rental experience!! We will definitely stay again! Thank you for all you did to make us feel welcome and at home! Our week at Carova Heights

Our week at Carova Heights was the most relaxing family vacation we’ve ever had. The home is spacious, comfortable and, just as described, stocked with so many essentials. The pool was wonderful, larger than what we’ve had at most vacation rentals, and the neighborhood was quiet. We were also fortunate to have a few horses amble through the property! (There is a “Horse Crossing” sign hanging on the exterior of the house which isn’t just a decoration … it actually was a horse crossing!) One evening, a mare brought her foal to nurse and relax underneath the deck while a stallion kept a very intimidating watch over them! The owners are wonderful and were always a quick text or email away. They are attentive to the guests needs and made sure we newbies had all the information we needed for 4x4 beach driving.

First time in dog friendly house

This was our first stay at any house with our first (recently adopted) pet. We were very nervous to book a pet friendly house, as we have strong allergies (ours is allergen free), and we have very high cleanliness standards. This house met those standards and exceeded the cleanliness of many prior rentals that do not allow pets. Besides having many conveniences for dog owners, you would never know this house has allowed pets. The owners thought of everything you would need and had it fully stocked. The house is as advertised, and very well maintained. There are many newer houses in the area, but this house looks to be in as good condition as many of the more recent constructions. Carova beach is becoming more popular of a location, so the houses in this section are not as secluded as they used to be. If you are seeking a vacation out in this location, this house is one of the nicest around.

Extraordinary experience

Everything was amazing, is what my daughter kept saying. We had wild horses visit under the deck. My grandson almost ran into one. He didn’t know they were there. He came running upstairs breathless to tell and show us. The weather was kinda crappy. But we had some beautiful days too. Fantastic sunrises. Beautiful views all around. Everyone enjoyed the pool. We watched horses every day from the balcony. We found games and activities to do inside during the storms. How often do you get to watch wild horses while doing the dishes! The whole family had plenty of personal space. No one was on top of each other. Everyone had a awesome time.

Our stay at Carova Heights was wonderful, but the trips up and down the beach were a little harrowing at times, as Hurricane Lee was sweeping by and the beach was sometimes non-existent. (We followed surf reports to drive during low tide, but even that was not always the best time to go because of the hurricane.) We had a four-wheel drive and no problem making it through the beach and over the very high dune roads, but it is something to think about when choosing to stay here. The house was in perfect condition and had all amenities one could want. The pool was excellent as well although the last few days got very chilly (this was mid-September). The hot tub was a nice alternative although it had no lights above or around it so using it at night was pretty much out of the question. We had horses visit us several nights while we were around the pool and when we took walks or rides around this part of the island we saw them as well. The beach was undertandably very windy with the hurricance passing by. My daughter was able to surf two days, but after that the water was so rough even standing knee deep could get you knocked down. As others have mentioned, trucks driving up and down the beach (usually locals) came very close to those on the beach, especially pets and children. You had to be very careful.

Beautiful, well maintained property

This house is even better in person. The woodwork throughout the house, nice furnishings, and art made it feel extra luxury. It is quite clear that the owners love it and maintain it well. Great views from the deck , the kids loved the big pool, and it was fun to see horses amble through the property. To get to the beach we walked through a vacant lot and over the dunes, or drove our truck out. The beach was busier than I anticipated with traffic , and making sure the little ones in our group didn’t walk out in front of a car every time they wanted to get a bucket of water was a little unnerving. The beach is great for boogie boarding. Owner communication was plentiful and prompt, and when we had a mishap with the storm blowing the hot tub cover off and breaking a pipe there was help out immediately. I will say all owner communication, even the welcome letter, had an air of disdain and annoyance to it. The owner texted asking why the hot tub cover wasn’t latched down (it wasn’t latched when we arrived at the house, I wasn’t aware it needed to be) and to “use common sense,”a phrase also echoed in the welcome letter. I try to put myself in their shoes renting out a house they are quite attached to, and I’m sure it IS annoying. I probably wouldn’t want to do it! But the house is great, and we had a great time!

Our 40th Anniversary!

Carova Heights was a beautiful way to spend our 40th wedding anniversary. Seeing the wild horses every day was exhilarating and never, ever got old. The house was spectacular. There is a pool table, hot tub, beautiful pool surrounded by an amazing outdoor cabana. The art work was beautiful. There is nothing lacking in this beautiful home. Thank you for sharing your home!

Wonderful vacation!

We had such a beautiful week at Carova Heights! Horses even came to visit us poolside. Couldn't have asked for better weather and the house was well stocked with everything we needed! Only had to bring ourselves and what we ate! Thank you Rande & Bob for sharing your beautiful home with us - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and looking forward to next year!

Perfect Vacation!!

This was the perfect vacation!! We could not have asked for a better rental house! It was well-stocked, so clean, perfect location and we could not believe how quiet the neighborhood was. I highly recommend this property. Not to mention, I was contacted by the owners making sure we arrived safely. I do believe this will be our permanent vacation spot. Amazing Rental in Carova

This is a spacious, beautifully maintained home -- doesn't at all feel like a rental. It boasts a gorgeous kitchen/dining room/great room with large tv and great views of the ocean. All the bedrooms are well-appointed and beds and bedding are in great shape. The owner, Rande, provides tons of amenities -- you'll be well-stocked with linens, bath towels, paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, kleenex, napkins), soap/shampoo, laundry detergent, spices and cooking oil, etc. There is also every small kitchen appliance you can think of, from a waffle iron to multiple blenders and even a popcorn machine. There are books, puzzles and games, as well as ton of beach gear (large tent, beach chairs, beach toys). The decks and outdoor pool have nice cushioned furniture, and there is even a Tiki Bar by the pool. We loved our stay and can't say enough good things about the house and the rental experience.

Amazing vacation

This was our first time staying at Carova Heights, and the house was beautiful. We have been going to the Carova for the past 9 years and I would say that this vacation was my favorite. We traveled 12 hours, driving during the night to get to the beach, and we were able to gain access to the house in the morning unlike other houses we have stayed at where you cannot get in until late afternoon. Everyone in our party loved the house and all of the amenities that were provided for us. Many times you go on vacation and you forget something, especially the aloe for after being in the sun for hours. This time we did not have to think about it because the homeowner thought of it for us. The house was stocked with all the necessities. One of our friends had never been before and I do not think he stopped smiling the whole time he was there. I have already recommended this house to friends who are looking to go next year. The horses loved to play in front of the house and hide under the deck every once in a while. It was a great vacation!

Paradise at the beach

This home and location meets the vacationers dream.. never have to worry about anything staying at Carova Heights. All the ammentities you could need are there, and the owner works to please the renter. Beautiful views of the ocean await, and the sunsets are spectacular too... highly recommend!

Perfect family vacation

This home was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. If anything, the photos online describing the house are outdated compared to what the home actually looks like. There are many updates and the views from the main floor are absolutely beautiful. The beach is pretty secluded so it is the perfect home if you are looking for a laid back vacation away from the hustle and bustle of tourist towns. The owners provided all information needed and responded quickly to questions or concerns.

Family beach adventure

We booked this home for a week so our whole family could be under one roof and to experience a beach adventure together! We were told 4wd vehicles were needed so we rented one large enough for two families... So glad we did! Make sure and air down your vehicle tires as they recommend. It was quite an adventure driving on the sand, and we got stuck once and had to pay for towing, but certainly worth it to have the privacy of the beach which wasn't used as often! The beach was so nice and clean and we watched dolphins play on the water. The weather was beautiful and we got some incredible family photos on the beach. The owner is wonderful, very attentive to our emails and texts when needed. The house is beautiful and the kitchen is well stocked to prepare and cook whatever is needed! Must bring an ice chest, or buy one at Walmart before hitting the sand because that is not a trip you'll want to make much while you're there. The Walmart and the smaller grocery store that is closer than the Walmart, have everything you need. The views of the ocean from the deck are incredible and the wild horses make their rounds through the yard regularly. The pool and gas grill were also a huge hit. Although the home isn't toddler proof, there is all the equipment you'll need except gates for the stairs. We brought a small x-pen to provide a barracade which was perfect. Highly recommend this place, if you can find an open week!
