Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Building 3 was under construction while I was here, but the concrete walls kept the sound out and it was peacefully quiet. The dryer was noisy but it worked. The fold-out sofa bed was not very comfortable. Both should be replaced. Everything else was wonderful. I have stayed many times at Kamaole Sands and will continue to stay here in the future.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a really good experience. We loved Kamoale Sands (the beach, the pool, the grounds, and the nearby shopping and restaurants) but the unit was just okay. The sofa bed was unfit to sleep on. Some of the promised supplies were not available or hard to find. The roof was being replaced and I was told this building would not be worked on during this time. The unit next door was being remodeled so it was noisy during the day.

Reviewer Comments: Kamaole Sands is a beautiful resort with quick access to beaches, shops and restaurants, we have been coming here for over 20 yrs and it continues to impress us. This unit is in a wonderful quiet location with views of the pool, beautiful gardens, sunsets and a peak a boo ocean view. It had everything we needed, including beach chairs, towels and umbrellas. It was well stocked and very clean. Couldn't have asked for more. Rentals Maui made all the details fall into place, our second time using them and won't be out last, they will be our go to from now on. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Lovely Kamaole Sands Condo

Kamaole Sands was a great place to stay. Almost every day we played pickleball (using the provided sponge balls) and worked out in the gym which is well equipped for a resort gym. The pool was great to hang out at if the beach was too windy and there were plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The beach was amazing and great for snorkelling, no need to go to Molikini as all the fish & turtles are right there. The condo was very comfortable and it’s location was very central within the resort overlooking the pool & fitness centre. It was definitely spacious enough for two and the bedroom was very comfortable and dark. It was well stocked with dish and cookware and included some spices, soaps & laundry pods. We made use of the provided beach chairs, umbrellas, beach mats and were hoping to use the boogie boards but the waves wouldn’t cooperate. My only suggestions to the owners would be the addition of a foldable clothes drying rack & a brita filter (we brought our own) to prevent the purchase of bottled water. If you want a great condo for 2 this is it.

Great stay!

Everything was as described, good location in Kihei, right across from the beach. Beautiful garden, in suite laundry and dishwasher is always nice bonus. Good clean pool, kiddie pool and hot tub.

I called and the staff were very helpful and were able to get me an early check in. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The unit was in a great location and a short walk to the beach and into town. I reported a small issue with the door being difficult to open so they were aware. However, we made it work and didn't impact our stay.

Wonderful vacation property

We enjoyed our stay very much. Location was great, lots of things to do at the property- swimming pool, 2 jacuzzi, 3 min walk to the beach. Chairs, snorkels, and boogie boards were provided with the rental. Everything you need in the kitchen. Thank you!

Wonderful experience - Maui regulars

Very well run and managed property. Directly across the street from the beach and walkable food and shopping. Our first time staying here and would certainly do it again. Note: check the patio utility closet first before renting beach gear. Ours had beach chairs, umbrellas and body boards available. I'm sure it varies from unit to unit.

Amazing!

We loved staying in the condo. It had towels, chairs, and an umbrella so we didn’t need anything. The grounds are beautiful and such a perfect Maui escape.

Decent Property. However, Feedback is Needed

Hello all: I want to preface this review by saying my partner and I frequent Maui annually. This was our first time staying at a Kamaole Sands property. (We usually stay at Maui Vista or Maui Coast Hotel - but we wanted to try something different.) Pros: - Right across from Kamaole III Beach. However, Paia Fish Market, Kihei Caffe, Tiki Lounge are all about 1.5 miles walking distance down the street - Clean - Amenities at Property/Look of Property - Unit AC - Gated Community - Two Bathrooms (in general, more feedback about bathrooms under cons) Cons: - Condo is not sound proof as we heard the neighbors having sex all night. That’ll make you blush. Lol. - Wi-Fi is spotty! You lose connectivity once you get into bedroom. Spectrum is the provider, I believe. As a Healthcare IT professional, I did the best to troubleshoot. There needs to be a more robust router or repeater put into place. Or simply mount router in hallway? We were unable to work or even take calls properly in the condo. Only one bar of service as AT&T user. Frustrating! - The bed is hard and uncomfortable. Truly felt like owners invested in the least expensive mattress and TV for the bedroom. - The shower renovation is not ideal. There’s a glass barrier similar to one you may see in newer hotel builds. However, the water shoots out onto bathroom floor. The owners retrofitted a plastic shower curtain and I think that’s gross. Kept touching me in shower. Glass barrier was NOT a good choice for this bathroom. Hence the reason I’m sure the owners placed the plastic curtain in too. Weird. In conclusion, being right across from Kamaole III was great, however, we do not plan to choose this specific condo again - perhaps not even this property at all. Thank you.

Clean place, close to everything

This place was directly across from Kamaole Beach III and down the street from lots of restaurants and shopping. The rental was nice and clean and had a great theme. We would stay here again in a heartbeat

Reviewer Comments: Clean, updated condo in a fairly large but not overwhelming complex with a nice view from the lanai of the grounds and sliver of ocean.Parking was close to the stairs, and the space stays really cool and quiet with decent natural light.Some really nice perks were the beach gear, washer/drier, comfy sofa bed and A/C in the whole place.Check-in was easy, complex is in a super convenient location.This place is all you could want for the price and worked great for my partner, my brother and I.
