Liked the property, very secluded and hot tub was great. WiFi was good. Plenty of room and great layout. Heat works great. Now the bad-Electronics could be updated & it would be nice if the place had curtains or window coverings. Main TV doesn’t have streaming services available to log into. The DVD (no Blu-ray) in the living room doesn’t work and the fridge water/ice doesn’t work. Locks on the doors don’t work correctly & toilet handle is loose/broken.

Unfortunately my wife and I called our stay short because of the state of the property and cabin. Management was great on communication and hopefully takes action to make changes. The property had a lot of trash around it, the BBQ was covered in mold and could not be used, the bed mattresses are outdated and need replaced, and the kitchen was very unsanitary. Dishes shoved back in cabinets with food still on them. Also the kitchen table was one screw from falling apart. Again management was very responsive and I hope they try to make changes for other people’s stays. The hot tube was very clean.

The cabin itself was clean and cozy, and the hot tub was very well maintained. However, we found the couch to be infested with fleas, so we decided to rewash our bedding as a precaution. Contrary to the listing, the property is not creekside; the area leading up to the cabin is overgrown, and the back deck appears to be in poor condition and potentially unsafe. The outdoor space is not very user-friendly. While the seclusion was a positive aspect, the cabin overall needs significant improvements considering the price.

Peaceful Winter Getaway with Hot Tub Comfort

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful creekside cabin! We visited in January, and it was such a treat to arrive and find the hot tub already warmed up—it made the cold winter nights feel luxurious and relaxing. Nestled on 5 private acres, the cabin offered the perfect mix of comfort and privacy. It was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a restful stay. The surrounding forest and peaceful setting made it easy to unwind and enjoy nature. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, winter-friendly escape with great amenities and beautiful scenery.

Perfect getaway!

This is our 2nd time staying here and we just love it. We enjoy the quietness and being surrounded by nature but not far from the town. The hot tub is a bonus! We will definitely be back!

This house was cute enough. But I clean and that greatly grossed me out. I was afraid to get comfortable and sit on the couch. There was dust in corners everywhere. There was some sort of yellow brown spot on the fur rug… I could only guess it was vomit or urine. Why a fur rug?… it can’t be cleaned. That is disturbing to me. The property was sort run down feeling. The faucet to refill the hot tub was literally broken. We live in a fifth wheel right now and I was looking forward to this anniversary getaway. Let’s just say… I was looking forward to getting back to my fifth wheel. This place didn’t feel clean ti me. I’m sorry.

No Fireworks

Great quiet place for us and our dog. Fireworks dont work with her. VERY nice place to stay, Inside is like new other than the beds which were still OK. Very well taken care of inside. Only reason for 4 stars is the outside area around the cabin has not been taken care . They should just hire a weed person couple times a year is all. Its a woods setting so not a real issue just a FYI to owner. Will book again. Jim

We were disappointed

The property is completely over grown and unkept. You can't even get to the creek. There is no place to enjoy outside except the driveway. This was a huge disappointment for us. We will never come back.

The place is very private so you can relax in the hot tub with no neighbors. Easy to find. Comfy.

I rarely use the hot tub fearing that it won't be well-maintained. The hot tub in this is squeaky clean and a perfect respite after a days hike.

Beautiful hideaway!

We loved our time here- a little cabin hidden in the mountains but close enough to the excitement of Leavenworth so you get the best of both worlds! It was clean, beautiful and comfortable. We would love to come back again in the fall or winter!

Nice, quirky, off the beaten path

Overall it’s a lovely cabin. Quirky in the deco, but well appointed except a cutting board. Can be difficult to find at dusk or in the dark. Know that the third bedroom is an open loft, only two full bed rooms. The property is heavily wooded and up against a hill. I was hoping it was explorable by my kids, but it’s too thick of woods to explore the 5 acres. It’s very private though and nice for a getaway.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay. It snowed on us a little. It was very peaceful and refreshing. No problem with the driveway, even in the snow. Hot tub was very nice and clean. It worked perfectly for our girls get-a-way. Loved being out of the hustle and bustle of the city, but just 10 minutes away.

Favorite getaway

This was our second time booking this property and we have stayed at many around this area. We fell in love with this stay last year and decided to book again. We love that it is dog friendly and a safe area for our dog to venture around because it’s not too close to the road. Also close to Leavenworth making it easy to go to town several times during our stay.

The cabin and land is great. It was clean, warm and in a very quiet, secluded area. Wonderful little get away place. However, some of the neighbours are not friendly and don’t take kindly to strangers. We had an unfortunate interaction with a neighbour who got very upset that our dog wondered on his property. Our dog did go on his property but only for a few seconds and when I called him he can back to me. The land owner was irate. He yelled and screamed and called me a bunch of names. I normally wouldn’t care too much about an adult temper tantrum, but he said that if a person or dog goes on his property again they would be shot. I sincerely hope this was just a scare tactic, but I wouldn’t want to test this theory. I understand that people feel the need to protect their property but a simple conversation would have been done the trick. This was an honest mistake and should not have resulted in threatening our safety. If you do stay here please be very careful about the neighbours. And make sure kids and animals are safe and close. This is rural USA where people are very eager to exercise their rights to bear arms and protect their property at all costs. Other than this interaction the cabin is lovely. I would have rated it 5 stars if is wasn’t for this incident.

Very relaxing

We came over from the Olympic Peninsula to check out Leavenworth and let the kids play in the snow while we relaxed, so the cabin was perfect. As described, the driveway is steep so you’ll definitely need 4-wheel drive to get in and out when it’s plowed, but chains if it’s snowed. ❄️ The cabin felt warm and cozy. We loved that firewood had been left, as well as some essentials in the kitchen so we could cook. Things that could be improved: The non-stick pan was so worn out that we deemed it unsafe to use. It should be replaced. We really enjoyed the hot tub too, but we were disappointed that it wasn’t hot enough to use until the second day that we were there. Had we not booked a second night, it would have been too cold for even a lukewarm dip. The maintenance guy also came early the next morning to do the chemicals so we couldn’t use it before we checked out either. Outside of these small things, it was a lovely stay. The layout was great and the bedrooms upstairs were very inviting and comfortable. We thought the fleece sheets and the big windows to watch the snow fall were great. The big vaulted ceilings made it feel very spacious.

Awesome place tucked back in a canyon

Great location, great place. Being there in the winter was great for the kids. Provided cookware is a little beat up but not enough to ruin the weekend. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay with the pups

Cabin was nice and cozy. Received a text that it was ready early which was great! Wood burning stove made the stay even better. It was clean. I like that they accept pets. It was a little weird there are not any curtains or blinds, but you cannot really see any neighbors except lights off in the distance. 4WD was needed on the second day. Hot tub was a relaxing way to end the night. With that said… hot tub maintenance man showed up unexpectedly 9:30am Sunday morning. I wasn’t told, had just got out of the shower, a didn’t have any pants on. A little heads up or maybe just wait 30 more minutes as checkout was 10am. All in all though I would stay here again!

The perfect cabin

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. It was nice to stay outside of Leavenworth but close enough to make our way into town more than once a day if we chose to! It had everything we needed, a great movie collection, and a well equipped kitchen. Beds were OK, shower meh, but overall every quality I’d want in a cabin for me and my family.

Great Cabin In The Woods

This cabin is close to the town of Plain and Leavenworth. It has a wood stove which makes the whole cabin warm. It does get hot upstairs with the fire going. We had to go buy a lighter and wood to start the fire. There was pots and pans to make dinner and plates and utensils. It was a great place to go with the family for a holiday weekend.

DRIVE ON CHUMSTICK, DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH PLAIN

First of all, loved the cabin. More to come in this. Google Maps may try to route you through Plain, taking you down several miles of horribly maintained dirt roads. DO NOT TAKE THAT ROAD. Go to Leavenworth, take Chumstick up north, then take a right on Merry Canyon Rd. Trust me, it’ll save your car and save so much time! Once we figured that out we were only 20ish minutes from Leavenworth instead of 40+ minutes :) Back to the cabin, it was really good! Remote, private, secure. We had no issues with the heat and the hot tub was a much enjoyed bonus. There is a somewhat steep, short, dirt driveway but we had no issues getting up and down it in our small sedan. It may be more difficult in the snow. The appliances overall were in good order and easy to use. There were extra towels, sheets, blankets, space heaters, and fans available throughout the house. Though we didn’t need to use the space heaters. We didn’t have much reception in the area around the cabin but the wifi in the cabin allowed us to have a good connection. We were able to stream with no issues. I’d go back again. Definitely a good choice.

Secluded Cabin In The Woods

This place gave very "guy-in-white-mask-stalks-woman-who-lives-alone-in-the-woods" vibes with how secluded it was. But I dig that, so we loved it...Perfect for Spooky Season. Stayed with friends for Oktoberfest. Cabin was cozy and the hot tub was a bonus on the chilly evenings. Place was extremely clean and had a large movie selection. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Only odd thing was that there weren't any coverings on the windows (no curtains or blinds), but with how secluded it was, it was fine. Getting in or out of the driveway may be difficult in the winter without a 4 wheel drive and tire chains. Would love to stay again next time we go to Leavenworth. Thanks!
