Great stay!

My sister and I celebrated our 30th birthday with our parents and left the husbands home for the week! The condo was gorgeous and it was the perfect location for everything. beds were comfy and everything was nice and clean. We will be staying here again next time we have a bigger group.

Went during the off-season but it was so peaceful and located in the middle of everything. One of my favorite stays so far in Panama.

Fantastic beachfront condo!

Three couples stayed for Thunder at the Beach and this unit was great! Everyone had enough space and the unit was clean and well maintained. The checkin process was easy and we were proactively communicating with us before checkin, after checkin, and before checkout. We had zero issues and will definitely be coming back! Thanks for a great vacation.

Family Vacation with Elderly Mother

Beds were comfy other than the kids bunk (squeaky), left more supplies than said which was nice, easy check in/out, convenient tiki hut, pool, and beach access, mother could easily access everything around facility with walker, shoes were stolen at the beach ramp :( beautiful white beaches, kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook in for the entire week, HE laundry soap needed, did not use pool in Tower 2, quick response via text when there was a minor issue, allowed early check in, friendly security staff, clean, balcony view was stunning, loved our week away with family!!!

Vacation

This condo was conveniently located right on the water with a beautiful ocean view from the balcony. The condo was adorable however, upon arrival there were dirty rags left on the tables, dirty dishes in the cabinets, a hole in one of the doors, the closet door was not attached in one of the bedrooms. The beds were not the most comfortable and were not queens as described. If you are going for more then a couple nights make sure you come prepared with toiletries, we were only given one toilet paper roll each and 2 small trash bags. We were very pleased with the communication overall. We enjoyed our stay but there are definitely some cosmetic things that need to be taken care of.

Good Condo for the beach

Excellent location for a beach vacation. Swimming pool was really nice and it was nice to have a bar and food stand by the pool. The condo is a bit smaller than how it appears in the photos. There were five of us and we had plenty of room but I think it would be a bit crowded if more than five stayed here. It was a corner condo on the 17th floor so lots of natural light and views which was great. The kitchen was pretty basic and we found ourselves using the dishwasher before it was full because we would run out of cups and silverware. No plastic cups either so bring your own if you have kids. No complimentary beach chairs or toys for use so bring your own. Air conditioner did not work on our last night there. But all in all we would stay here again because the location and corner unit was perfect for us.

Relaxation Awaits at This Stunning Corner Unit!

Traveled here for Spring Break with my daughter. It is a great environment, with so many amenities available to entertain every age group. Centrally located on the beach the resort is beautiful and the grounds so clean. Unloading, loading and parking is convenient and there is practically no wait at the elevators. The pool area, which includes a tiki bar, is spacious with plenty of seating and just across the street is a large heated pool for those cool days. The beach is a short walk from the complex. We really enjoyed the view from our condo. Since it is a corner unit you can enjoy the fabulous view of the ocean from the side windows as well as the balcony. The condo is newly remodeled and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well supplied with all utensils, pans, and appliances needed should you want to enjoy a night in. The bedding is fresh and clean making for a cozy, restful night's sleep. One of the nicest condos I've ever stayed in and I've rented many over the years. I would definitely recommend this particular unit at the Grand Panama Resort!

Overall nice, but a few issues!

The room itself was just as the pictures showed it to be. The floor wasn’t mopped prior to our arrival so our feet were black the entire time. None of the TV’s we’re able to acquire service so we had to watch Netflix. Several outlets didn’t work. The listing didn’t mention there being an additional fee for parking/wristbands. Resort could use a lot more elevators considering the amount of people who stay that especially during peak season. Parking is a joke! Overall the resort is nice enough, but for the money my family expected a lot better.

Perfect Beach Condo!

This was the best condo experience I’ve had in PCB! The unit itself is clean and beautifully decorated. It’s obvious the unit has been recently updated with new furnishings of a high quality. Everything just feels comfortable. The balcony furniture is so comfortable to relax in and enjoy the stunning view of the beach with a pier in the distance. The kitchen had all the pans/appliances we needed to cook our nightly meals in the condo, but still plenty of empty cabinet space to put our food for the week. The Grand Panama itself is situated nicely on the west end of PCB so its a quick drive to restaurants, but still quiet. It is about 7 minutes either way to Pier Park or Wonder Works. The pool/kiddie pool/hot tub area is great and it is so easy to get to the beach. The tiki bar had a large variety of creative drinks and great grab and go food. Very family friendly. It is an extremely short walk from the elevators to the boardwalk and then a short boardwalk through the dunes to the white sand beach. You couldn't ask for more convenient beach access! There are lounge chairs set up that you can rent for the day or week. It was so nice that unit uses keypad entry so we didn't have to try to keep up/trade off keys when someone wanted to run up to the condo. Views were AMAZING from all the windows in the unit since it is a corner unit! Easy and effortless vacation!

Great location

Arrived about 10 minutes prior to checking in. Parked out front in the 15 minute parking so my son and I could go up and see if we would be able to get in. My husband said a man told them they had to move but had only been there for 7 minutes. Unable to get into condo at this time so we decided to go across the street get armbands parking passes and park in the deck and hopefully by then we would be able to check in. You have to randomly search for luggage carts. We found 2 and unpacked the vehicles and made our way across the crosswalk on the 5th floor to the elevators. Got to our room and thankfully was able to unlock the condo at just past 4:00. My family was impressed that I picked such a great condo (idk why they doubt me!) beautifully decorated condo just a little tight for the 8 of us but we managed and the large balcony allowed us to spread out more. The master bedroom has the most comfortable bed. My husband and I slept like babies every night! I’m usually not a fan of staying on the top floors bc the elevator waits are typically so long but the elevators at The Grand Panama were surprisingly fast. The tiki bar by the pool was utilized daily which was so nice!!! Everyday was spent on the beach enjoying family time. This is our annual family trip so next year we will be looking to stay here again. Thanks for a great time in PCB with the fam!

Overall stay 4-4.5/5 stars. There needs to be better communication with the property management.

The condo was beautiful. It’s has an amazing view of the gulf from multiple rooms. The overall cleanliness of the condo was great. We did find a couple bunches of sand that seemed to be missed by the cleaning crew, but that is to be expected when visiting the beach. My only issue with my stay were lack of instructions by the property management. There weren’t clear instructions on where and how to check-in. We were asked to check in between 4-6pm. I called and ask if it would be ok to check-in after that time. Near 7pm or 8pm. The representative told me that was fine and that someone would be there to check us in probably till 8pm or later. Upon arrival I had to search for a check-in desk. After asking other guests for assistance, turns out they leave the desk at 5pm. I called the property management and they said I could just park on the property and get a parking pass in the morning. They informed me that security would leave my vehicle alone for the night. The next morning I found a tow warning on my car, put there by the property security. When I called security, they did say it was just a warning but instructed me that I should have gone to the security desk for a temp parking pass upon arrival. Then there was also lack of instructions on what to do with your trash. Departure instructions said to “remove all trash.” But it never said where and how. We were unsure for our entire stay as to where we bring the trash? Do we leave it outside out condo door for pick up? Do we bring it down to a central dumpster? We still don’t know if we followed those unclear instructions correctly. However, these are just communication issues by the property management. I truly believe these are easy corrections with the right feedback. I want anyone reading this review to know that I would stay at the resort again. Parking was a little far away, but the checkout process was very simple. All we had to do was send a simple text when we were ready to checked out. The resort is in a great central location in PCB. The resort pool was clean and HUGE! And the beach was just a few away.

Nice view

Check in seamed seamless until we walked into room. The room was trashed and we arrived well after the check in time that was given. The housecleaner was beyond rude and told us to leave. After numerous calls the condo was somewhat clean. The washing machine leaks into the hall. The microwave has rust inside, the sink doesn’t work while the dishwasher is running, and the fridge takes a full day to get cold. Very unfortunate for the price. The beach is nice and views are great.

Perfect location, awesome views... needs work on cleanliness.

Very spacious and comfortable however, the room wasn't very clean when arriving. We found finger prints on almost ever mirror and several personal items of what appeared to be of the previous guests. With the current world pandemic and the money spent, I would have expected a thorough clean. We also found a cleaning rag left in the bathroom. After we decided to clean ourselves, we were able to relax and enjoy the views! Had the room been clean as expected, I would have definitely gave this a 5 star but being that that wasn't the case, 3 is all I can give. I would have to try again and hope that maybe the cleaning person was rushing or not having a good day.

Cute Updated Condo!

The condo, check-in process, parking, elevators, pool, and decoration was perfect! The view was great and the patio furniture seated a lot of people. The only problems I had with this condo was: the floors weren’t very clean, and the beds weren’t super comfortable. Overall - great condo and would stay here again! I can’t get over how stylish and cute the decoration and layout is!

Beach Trip '19

Had a great time with our family getting together. The view from the balcony was impressive. The pool was better than we expected. Loved having the view and not having to cross the street to get to the beach. Thanks for the accommodations.
